Heartwarming / Aquamarine

• The "Island in the Sun" scene, after it stops being hilarious for Aqua's dancing, turns into a sweet Dance of Romance - where Aqua and Raymond just have a lovely time together. It also shows Claire and Hailey cutely dancing with Claire's grandmother.
• Aqua giving Raymond that kiss, and his delighted reaction.
• After Raymond says he doesn't love Aquamarine her father conjures up a huge storm to take her back to the sea. Claire and Hailey swim out - Claire ignoring her fear of drowning - to save her. She asks why and they reply "because we love you, Aqua". Having been taught about the nature of love now, Aqua's father calls off the storm.
  • The girls also tell Aqua she can use their wish to call off her wedding. The Power of Friendship at its strongest.
  • Aqua is moved to Tears of Joy, to which she cutely exclaims "I didn't know you leak when you're happy too!"
• Aquamarine revealing she once saw Claire's parents before they died, and insisting to the girl that she knew they were really in love. It's implied Claire's parents were the ones who (indirectly) showed Aqua that love exists, and it really hits home on Aqua that she's friends with the couple's daughter who showed her that love is real.
• Hailey's description of love to Aqua is simple and poignant at the same time: "It's the closest thing we have to magic."
• Hailey's maturity in deciding not to use the wish to make her mother stay in Florida. Claire accepts this.
• Raymond may not have fallen in love with Aquamarine, but he still wants to see her again. They promise to meet in Fiji after she's "cleared the water" with her father.
• Although Aqua says she belongs in the ocean, she'll make sure to come and visit both her friends. Reassuring Claire that, even when Hailey moves away, she won't be left alone.
  "If I have to swim against the Gulf Stream from here to Australia, I'll do it. I'd circle the world for you two."
  • At that statement, Claire tenderly rests her head on Hailey's shoulder and the three friends all clasp hands. Aqua then says goodbye with "I love you guys too."
• Aqua gives Claire and Hailey the starfish earrings she wore earlier. She happily says that, although starfish may be big suck ups, "they never lie". And later, when the girls put them on, the starfish say that Hailey is beautiful inside and out, and the best friend anyone could ask for, and they praise Claire's bravery, saying she's a true friend who will never let you down.
• After his talk with Aqua, Raymond goes up to Claire and Hailey to praise them for their bravery and selflessness at helping her. He gives both of them a kiss on the cheek, and the two girls Squee in delight.
• According to Word of God, the next year both Claire and Raymond travel to Australia to visit Hailey, and Aqua shows up as well to help them explore the Great Barrier Reef together.
