Shout Out / Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories

• The game lets you unlock weapons and armor at Vic's safehouse by finding and shooting 99 red balloons scattered throughout Vice City. If you know your 80s music, you'll recognize that this is an obvious reference to Nena's hit song 99 Luftballons (adapted into English as 99 Red Balloons), which appeared on the original Vice City game's soundtrack.
• Bryan Forbes is pretty much an evil version of Sonny Crockett.
• The manual features a mock news article about a pair of streetwalkers named Mystique and Destiny. Destiny is even wearing sunglasses.
• The Domestobot bears an uncanny resemblance to Nintendo's Robotic Operating Buddy.
• The names of Méndez brothers Diego and Armando are a clear reference to the late Argentinean footballer Diego Armando Maradona.
• The missions were Vic works as a security manager and bodyguard for Phil Collins are named "Kill Phil" and "Kill Phil: Part 2".
