WMG.Pokemon Black And White: Not QUITE Jossed, but the official artwork shows that his eye and most of the area around in are completely wrecked under that piece, and he wears it to cover it up.
Pantheon.Jobs And Profession: General Tropes: Pursues Women To Satisfy His Lust, Action Hero, Badass in a Nice Suit, Has the Codename '007', Drives Many Cool Cars, Especially Aston Martins, Genius Bruiser, Has A Scar Down His Right Cheek, Mr. Fanservice, The Pornomancer, Loves Vodka Martini... Characters.Redwall Eulalia: After Vizka belts him twice with his Epic Flail, a hideous scab forms and eventually breaks off, leaving a permanent flamelike scar.
Webcomic.Frozen Au Copper: nna has the two small scars on her nose from where Elsa hit her with her gun. She has an "X" shaped cut on the back of her neck from where her half-brother Chris at their father's approval cut her. Elsa has three healed scars, two in her side and one on her chest, inflicted by gunshots.
Characters.Sengoku Ace: Ayin's body is covered with scars. How he got those scars remains a mystery.
Anime.Porco Rosso: Most of the pirate bosses have nasty-looking facial scars.
VideoGame.Assassins Creed IV Black Flag: Edward has a number of facial scars, but they mostly just reinforce his rough-and-ready personality rather than mar his appearance. Woodes Rogers, on the other hand, has a mass of ugly purple scar tissue, which makes him look very creepy.
Characters.Medi Evil: He has one over his right eye, which is also completely white.
Pantheon.Heirs: Portfolio: The Badass Hunter Who Defeated Gargos, The Sole Survivor Of Ultratech's Attack on the Night Guard, Wields the Enchanted Daggers, Vengeance and Temperance, in a Reverse Grip, Good Scars, Evil Scars, Heroine of Another Story, Monster Hunter Extraordinare, Dreadlock Warrior, Formerly a Jungle Princess, Kick Chick, Originally Had Only a Single Name, Given the Surname Fallegeros in the Reboot, Spicy Latinas, Stands at 6'2".
Characters.Supermarioglitchy4s Super Mario 64 Bloopers Non Mario Characters Minor: His appearance in "Western Spaghetti" after his Face–Heel Turn shows that he has an X-shaped scar above his eye. Curiously, the scar is there in his flashbacks during the aforementioned movie, when he was still in his prime. Additionally, the advertisement featuring him in "We Interrupt This Broadcast" removes the scar entirelynote Perhaps it was somehow removed digitally.
Characters.Mob Psycho 100 Claw: All Scar members have had a scar given to them by Touichirou. Koyama and Sakurai don't have them anymore after Touichiro's defeat, so it can be presumed that those on all the other members were healed as well.
Literature. The Crow Wicked Prayer: Dan has a badass scar through one of his eyebrows, acquired in a brawl, while Kyra has an ugly purple-hued mark on her neck, caused by the rope that she used to hang herself during her Interrupted Suicide.
Manga.Blade Of The Immortal: Manji has lost his right eye and has two long parallel scars across his forehead and the bridge of his nose.Of course he has plenty more scars on his body. Heck, there is no way you could guess he is a good guy just by looking at him (and even if you could it is debatable just how good he is actually...)Manji's body is virtually MADE of scars (most obvious when he is poisoned with kessen-satsu and all his old wounds open up).
ConvectionSchmonvection.Anime And Manga: Once again, when Ace is impaled by Akainu's fist, it makes a clean wound, with only minor burns around the hole. This could be explained by his Logia powers, but then what about Luffy and Jimbei? Akainu attacked them too, and the same thing happened. Sure they were badly injured and Luffy gets an X-shaped scar on his chest, but considering it's magma, they should have been reduced to smoldering, molten corpses. Jimbei punches Akainu and leaves his fist in the magma for a few seconds and then pulling it out with only minor surface burns.
Webcomic.Supernormal Step: Played with. Hall and Eva are by no means made unattractive by their scars, but the scars hardly match the standard "good" scars. Sure, Hall's got the typical cool eye scar, but the rest are far from typical. Same for Eva, albeit less so. Notice how their scars are not smooth to the skin.
VideoGame.Resident Evil 4: During the course of events in the game, Leon gets a small cut across his otherwise perfect face during a knife fight. Contrast his rival antagonist Krauser, who already has several scars along his face and lips. And then Krauser gets another one straight across his chest after a lengthy knife fight with Leon.
VideoGame.Naughty Bear: The box art depicts Naughty with a long, stitched-together one down half his face. In-game, he's also sporting an Ear Notch and a smaller scar on his side.
Characters.Seven Fates Chakho: Despite being a Beom with healing powers, he has a scar over his right eye, from above the eyebrow through his cheek (though the eye itself is intact).
Fanfic. To Win A Stone Heart: Pod now has a few after his encounter with the Brotherhood without Banners, notably a scar around his neck from almost being hanged.
Pantheon.Entitlement: Portfolio: Known as the Hound, Anti-Villain, Acknowledges his own crimes, Much faster than his size lets on, Noble Demon, Knight in Sour Armor, Professional Killer, note just don't say that to his face. , The Alcoholic, Despises his brother Gregor who gave him his scars, The Cynic, Deathly afraid of fire, Does not like being called a knight, Left for dead by Arya Stark, Has his title and helm stolen by Rorge, Came to care for Arya, Killed his brother by throwing them both into the flames below the Red Keep
Characters.Star Gladiator: Hayato has a scar above his right eye. Fortunately, his eyesight is fine.
Franchise.Teenage Wastelands: Craig has chupacabra slashes on his shoulders and fleshgait bite on his right bicep, as well as a parachild slash across his abdomen from an attempted disembowelment. Chavayress Syvier, The Dragon of book two and his recurring nemesis, has a mutilated face from a nervous breakdown she suffered after being assaulted by her father.
Characters.Jagged Alliance: She is the security chief of a diamond mining operation in an unstable West African country, and has a prominent burn scar on the right side of her face. She's on your side, though. Or so we are led to believe. In fact, she was responsible for creating the Legion, and only started working against them when the Major decided working for himself was more fun.
Characters.Ultimate Spider-Man (2000): Half of Kaine's face is horribly disfigured. He may not be evil per se, but his insanity still makes him dangerous.
Characters.Cage Of Eden: First introduced with bandages covering his face because he's ashamed of them. During this time, he is silent and rather off-putting. Once the bandages come off, the group quickly points out that the scars actually look pretty cool. Tooru himself becomes much more open and friendly.
Characters.RWBY The Ever After: When he learns Team RWBY has humans among them, his porcelain head breaks with large angry cracks running down his face to better reflect their cruelty and rage; he wants to see the humans dead more than anything.
Characters.Hooky: She has a large burnscar covering the left side of her face, as a result of her nearly being burned: it marks her as highly morally ambiguous.
Film.Edge Of Tomorrow: Rita has one scar on her forehead which underpins her badass status, but doesn't spoil her beauty.
Manga.Samurai Deeper Kyo: ubverted by Yuya, who has a hideous scar on her stomach (though it does get de-hideoused later on). Played straight by Hishigi, whose entire left side is covered in disfiguring scars because of the Devil Eyes. It gets even worse after the eyes are destroyed, leaving bloody craters all over the left side of his body and face. Also played straight by Akira; he's Covered with Scars, but they're usually hidden by his clothes (most of them are on his back) and don't have any impact on his appearance. Played with in Kyo's case. He's even more thoroughly Covered with Scars than Akira, but his established status as a Anti-Hero of the highest order means they aren't as jarring as they might be on a typical hero. The scars on his face are also more understated.
Characters.Avatar The Last Airbender Mentors: In an interesting parallel (foreshadowing?) to Zuko, a wanted poster for Jeong-Jeong has his picture, presumably of his appearance before deserting, with his scar already present.
TheWire.Tropes E To L: Omar has a pretty distinctive antihero scar running down the left side of his face, which goes a long way towards solidifying him as a badass. Interestingly, that scar isn't a prosthetic—Michael K. Williams actually has a scar like that, which he got from a bar fight. Marlo has a less noticiable scar around the left side of his jaw, which is also an actual scar. Nobody seems to notice that Hassan Johnson (Wee-Bey) has a scar on his jaw almost identical to Marlo's.
Wrestling.Wade Barrett: Heath Slater claimed Wade was an obvious thug because of his scar and broken nose, which is a little harsh considering that nose came from just earning a living boxing and that scare came from someone attempting to mug him of that living wage.
Characters.A Brothers Price: Cira has an enormous silvery scar on her face that healed well, so it's not raised. She also has similar scars all over her body. In-story she's seen as ambiguous for quite some time, and it turns out that she's the missing princess.
Characters.Slightly Damned: Has a pronounced one that runs across the bridge of her nose and under both eyes, but she's respected and looked up to by her angelic subordinates as a heroic figure. Too bad she's really on the demons' side.
Characters.Freedom City: Was covered in hideous scars, a result of both being born with cutaneous porphyria and a childhood in which his father sadistically punished him with beatings, cuttings, and burnings.
Characters.Vikings Ragnars Family: He has scars on his face, and on the bridge of his nose. He also has several large gashes on his body.
Literature.Flashman: John Charity Spring has a nasty scar on his face and is one of the more psychotic characters Flashman encounters. Most of Flashman's scars are on his back. Including the bullet scar on his arse. He also has the two schlager scars on his face from Royal Flash.
VideoGame.Wet: Ze Kollektor is covered with scars, which he thinks of as "trophies".
Characters. The Land Before Time Television Series: He has a long scar going from the top of his head to his left index finger, which culminates in his red claw. How he managed to get cut in that fashion is never explained, though.
Film.Die Another Day: Zao is holding a case of diamonds rigged with an explosive, which detonates. He survives, but the blast has permanently embedded several of the diamonds in his face.
Characters.Kagurabachi: Has a prominent crescent-shaped one curving around his left eye, received back when his home was destroyed. Shiba's comments suggest he could have it covered up or repaired, but he keeps it as a reminder of his father's murder.
Characters.Age Of Wonders: Like most of the Shad'rai, Lithyl is visibly disfigured by scars inflicted by the Torment of Shadows, and her crown incorporates an Eyepatch of Power.
Characters.Double Dragon: In the arcade original, the Zack version of Abobo had a disfiguring scar going from his eye to his forehead. The standard Abobo also has this in Advance.
Characters.Dragon Drive: Played with. He has very obvious scars on his face and hands after the Time Skip. Considering he's a fairly dark Anti-Hero, they're not as jarring as they could be on a less ambiguously heroic character.
Characters.Silent Hill Film: His gloves cover the burns he sustained when he rescued Alessa from the metal frame where she was burned.
Recap.RWBYV 8 E 3 Strings: Nora's body is damaged by the amount of lightning she absorbed, leaving a network of scarring similar to Lichtenberg figures covering her body. While the scars are too noticeable to ignore, they only touch the edges of her face, and are mostly neat.
