To get Josuke to open his eyes, Rohan uses a page that he ripped from Koichi's memories to figure out a strategy. The plan he comes up with is intentionally hitting Josuke's Berserk Button by insulting his hair to focus all of his attention on him. It works...and then immediately backfires, as Josuke is so Blinded by Rage that he bypasses Heaven's Door and beats Rohan so badly that he has to take a hiatus from writing.
Literature.The Hammer 2022: My Sister Is Off-Limits: Esgard's sons, Tren and Aaron, both love Chloe as much as their father does. They also get similarly enraged when men start trying to get close to her. They're both Blinded by Rage when they hear that Tiburon von Rochter tried to make a pass at her. If Tiny weren't as strong as them, the brothers would've bowled him over in their rush to beat the crap out of Tiburon.
Characters.God Of War Series Atreus: In the 2018 game, Atreus gets Blinded by Rage during the fight with Magni and Modi after they continuously insult Faye. Even with Kratos telling him to calm down, Atreus just attacks impulsively, consistently making things harder. This gets him into trouble when he uses Spartan Rage, as it knocks him out. While Kratos wasn't helping things by hiding his godhood from him, Atreus not knowing when to focus his emotions or channel his anger complicates things.
Characters.All For Luz Luz Noceda: This happens to Luz after Riley's betrayal in chapter 17. She doesn't demand to know why Riley betrayed her and tell her to surrender peacefully, like she normally would. Luz just wants Riley dead, familial ties be damned.

Barry kicks the man's door in and immediately pumps him full of lead while the man's wife watches and screams in terror. The rest of Barry's troop bursts in shortly thereafter and forcefully restrain him, informing Barry that the man he's just killed is nothing more than an ordinary villager and the one who shot his fellow Marine was an enemy sniper on a rooftop that they've already dispatched. The look on his face as he realizes he's just committed not only a completely senseless murder, but a war crime is almost beyond description.
Recap.The Loud House S 2 E 3 Baby Steps Brawl In The Family: The sisters throughout the whole episode, especially at the end, thanks to Linc insulting them by saying hidden secrets about each other. They spend far more time yelling at each other rather than bothering to solve anything. It's only when Lincoln leaves the house do they finally make up.
Film.Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1990: Shredder uses this to his advantage by mocking the Turtles, claiming that he killed Splinter. Leo proceeds to recklessly charge Shredder in absolute rage... and is easily disarmed and pinned down. Then, a moment later, Splinter arrives and makes Shredder angry enough to charge at him recklessly, giving Splinter the opening he needs to quickly defeat Shredder.

At least Ragdoll isn't doing it on purpose.Obito decides to go for the I Shall Taunt You option on Magne and Spinner, picking up on on Spinner's reverence for Stain and "stomping on his buttons like an arcade machine" to get Spinner too angry to focus on his actual targets. It works, and Pixie-Bob avoids a nasty head injury as a result. Obito's nickname for Dabi? Staple-Face.

When she is finally listening, he then leads into a Dare to Be Badass speech to help her overcome that weakness, develop new strategies, and gain Tapu Koko's approval again.

HoistByHisOwnPetard.Film: In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990), after Shredder has the turtles on the ropes, Splinter unexpectedly appears and reveals Shredder's true identity as Oruku Saki and that Splinter himself was the rat that scarred Shredder's face many years ago. Blinded by Rage, Shredder forgets the turtles and attacks Splinter in a rush, only for Splinter to basically flip him over the edge of the roof, suspended above the street and saved from death because Splinter is holding him up. Shredder makes a last attempt to kill Splinter, throwing a dagger at the rat... and in order to protect himself and catch the dagger, Splinter has to let go of Shredder, causing Shredder to fall to his (apparent) death.

Recap.Game Of Thrones S 6 E 9 Battle Of The Bastards: Batman Gambit: Both Jon and Ramsay try to pull one in the prelude to the final battle. In the parley, Jon goads Ramsay by taunting him as a coward, hoping to make him angry enough to spoil for a fight, and later builds his battle plans on taking the Bolton charge to deny them the advantage of their numbers and superior cavalry. Ramsay, on the other hand, has Rickon run across the battlefield while almost whimsically firing arrows at him with the idea of provoking Jon to run forward from his protected lines to rescue him, and his outnumbered force forward to rescue him. As Sansa predicted, Jon's plan fails while Ramsay's succeeds.

Unfortunately, as he was still Blinded by Rage and still in the throes of his Superpowered Evil Side at the time, Rean misinterpreted Jessica's holding her back as an attack and nearly killed her.
CentralTheme.Five Nights At Freddys Fazbear Frights: Bunny Call: Rage and its effects on judgment. Bob, frustrated with years of having his introverted family dragging him to things he doesn't enjoy, signs his family up for the titular Bunny Call service as a bit of payback. Matt, angry at a string of failed relationships that he refuses to realize he caused himself, takes his aggression out on the Springtrap character in the new game he is creating. And in "The Man in Room 1280", not only is it implied that the titular man has survived all these years out of sheer furious will to live, but his presence has become such an uncomfortable sore spot for the nurses that they try (unsuccessfully) to murder him in order to be rid of him once and for all. In each case, the character's rage ends up leading at least in part to the arrival of the story's villain.

Characters.Kamen Rider Zi O Sougo Tokiwa: His reaction to seeing the destruction caused by Oma Zi-O, then meeting Oma Zi-O in person and being confronted with the harsh reality that this truly is Sougo himself, is to try and defeat Oma Zi-O right there and then. Not that he ever stood a chance of that. Happens again when Another Drive mocks Heure after the latter's death for trusting Ora, and being betrayed and killed as a result. Sougo doesn't take this well, only this time, Another Drive is the one who doesn't last.

TearJerker.All For Luz: While many readers can agree that this chapter is a Catharsis Factor, it's painful to read the Luz be Blinded by Rage throughout the remainder of the fight. The Luz in the show would make funny quips or goof around in a fight. She doesn't even demand to know why Riley betrayed her and tell her to surrender peacefully, like her show's probably counterpart would. No. Here in the story, there's none of that. She's just so, so angry by a member of her family's betrayal that she's gone into Gotta Kill Them All mode with no talking out of it.

Randy suggests that he should've pushed Jeff in the water instead of Ben, pissing off Jeff even more to lure him into a fight against him. However, he underestimates Jeff, resulting in both of them getting beat up rather badly.

Literature.Ave Xia Rem Y: Qu Rou is so laser-focused on murdering Liu Jin for his (very indirect) role in Qu Rou’s brother’s death that he fails to notice every trap in the temple and doesn’t even realise that he can’t breathe. Liu Jin’s plan to kill him works perfectly and Qu Rou can’t lay a hand on him until Jin deals the final blow.
Characters.Phantom Vs Aliens Hot Ectoplasma The Boudacians: He completely loses his shit while fighting Danny and is practically foaming at the mouth with rage. Deconstructed as Danny takes advantage of this by purposely riling him up with insults and humiliating him in battle to make him an even sloppier fighter.
Characters.Aurora 2019: Awesome, but Impractical: His full Crucible form. While transformed, he's lightning fast, strong enough to easily obliterate Obsidian Ghouls, who can resist most weapons, and impervious to all physical damage, including a full-force Void energy blast head-on. However, he's also solely focused on the source of his fury and cannot be stopped, leading to an enormous amount of risk for the people near him. The first time he transformed, he wrecked his entire village in the process of destroying the Obsidian Ghouls, to the point that everyone, including him, agreed he was too dangerous to stay.
ButForMeItWasTuesday.Anime And Manga: Vinland Saga In the first arc Askeladd claims not to remember the 'blood oath' of vengeance Thorfinn has sworn against him and pretends to not remember killing Thorfinn's father Thors. It's an Invoked Trope on Askeladd's part because Thorfinn gets worse at fighting the angrier he is, and pissing Thorfinn off until the boy makes foolish mistakes makes it much easier for Askeladd to subdue Thorfinn without killing him. In the second arc Thorfinn has a vision of all the people he killed during the ten years or so that he was a viking and a warrior. Now a changed man, Thorfinn tearfully admits to the dead who are haunting him that he cannot remember anything about them; not who they were, where he killed them, or why.
