# ComicBook.DeathOfAPrince: Arthur Jr. didn't die right away like Aquaman thought, and while Mera went in search of a cure and failed to save their son in time, Arthur was on a revenge quest against Black Manta and missed the whole thing.

# NightmareFuel.SonicPrime: The climax of Nine's Villainous Breakdown. The way he launches into a savage frenzy and resorts to haphazardly shooting/lunging all over the place trying to hit Sonic, especially with those eyes, bring to mind when Azula lost it during her face-off with Zuko and Katara. Then Shadow and all the others barge in with Extreme Mêlée Revenge clearly on their minds. Good thing Sonic gets Nine to pull a last-minute Heel–Face Turn and talks down the Alliance of Alternates, because things could have gotten ugly otherwise.
# Fanfic.SecurityWorm: Bakuda almost has a screaming mental breakdown when she sees Mike, having survived her implanted bomb. The idea that she decided to blow someone up and they're not blown up is intolerable to her. Part of the plan was to enrage Zion so much he throws caution to the wind. It works.
# TooDumbToLive.ComicBooks: The "Up is Down, Black is White" storyline from The Punisher MAX opened with the returning Nicky Cavella digging up the skeletons of the Castle family — Frank's wife, son and daughter — and urinating on the bones, then mailing footage of this CLEARLY IDENTIFYING HIM (panning up to his smiling face) to the news, in HOPES that Frank Castle would see it. Amazingly this almost went according to plan, to so enrage the Punisher that he'd lose focus and thus be vulnerable to ambush (as even the Punisher admitted, that's what happened)... what made it Too Dumb to Live was assuming that his mooks could take advantage. This would prove his downfall once the mooks realized that they were the ones supposed to be taking on the Punisher, and let Cavella know it in no uncertain terms.
# Animation.HeroicTimes: At times Toldi can't help himself and turns murderous.
# Fanfic.ABrighterDark: Hans goes ballistic when Mozu is hurt in a fight, but his rage causes him to expose his back to some enemies and get himself subdued instantly.
# ButForMeItWasTuesday.AnimeAndManga: Vinland Saga In the first arc Askeladd claims not to remember the 'blood oath' of vengeance Thorfinn has sworn against him and pretends to not remember killing Thorfinn's father Thors. It's an Invoked Trope on Askeladd's part because Thorfinn gets worse at fighting the angrier he is, and pissing Thorfinn off until the boy makes foolish mistakes makes it much easier for Askeladd to subdue Thorfinn without killing him. In the second arc Thorfinn has a vision of all the people he killed during the ten years or so that he was a viking and a warrior. Now a changed man, Thorfinn tearfully admits to the dead who are haunting him that he cannot remember anything about them; not who they were, where he killed them, or why.
# Fanfic.WhereNoPonyHasGoneBefore: Knowing that Blueblood is thin-skinned, Kirk deliberately taunts him during the duel to try to throw him off his game.
# Recap.StarWarsRebelsS1E01DroidsInDistress: Zeb has the upper hand in the bo-rifle fight until Kallus reveals that he was the one responsible for the massacre on Lasan. Zeb gets angry and starts swinging more wildly, allowing Kallus to get in more hits and ultimately win.
# Characters.BronyDAndDTheParty: When angered, it is wise to make yourself invisible to Amber. She will even attack her teammates when incensed enough.
# Film.DungeonsAndDragons2000: Snails' death sends Ridley into a grief-stricken rage, and he charges Damodar screaming and swinging wildly: his blows bounce harmlessly off of Damodar's armor, and he's ultimately disarmed and stabbed in the shoulder.
# Characters.YourTurnToDieGameParticipants: He gets over his Heroic BSoD when Midori reveals that he was behind the voice encouraging Keiji to shoot the criminal. Keiji immediately declares that he'll kill him and flies at him in a rage... which doesn't bode very well when Midori ends up trapping him in a coffin.
# Fanfic.AllForLuz: CopKiller: Luz becomes this in chapter 18, wiping out over a dozen of them when BlindedByRage.
# Characters.CodexEquusFriendshipGardens: Easily one of her biggest flaws, having a violent temper which could cause her to lash out destructively, causing at minimum property damage as she trashes her immediate vicinity before calming or being calmed down.
# Characters.JoJosBizarreAdventureJotaroKujo: After drinking Joseph's blood, DIO essentially was unbeatable... Or rather, he would have been, if this hadn't been Jotaro's final straw. Up until that point in the fight, Star Platinum had demonstrated that in a head-on clash, The World's fists would begin to break against its own. At the battle's end, Jotaro's at the point where he can barely focus any longer, and looses a final blow with such incredible force that it puts fissures in his own fist, but ruptures The World and causes it to explode.
# Fanfic.TheExtradition: PercussiveTherapy: Dream, having been put into essentially another prison, doesn't take it too well. He begins doing everything he can with as much violence as he can muster. He avoids becoming BlindedByRage however, and still listens to Technoblade's advice when it's applicable.
# Characters.SonicTheHedgehogIDWClassicEra: Heavy King is at the top of his game, with almost all the Chaos Emeralds at his power. How is he stopped? Sonic decides to annoy him, calling him "Heavy Comedian", saying his cape is stupid, and that even without the Chaos Emeralds, Mecha Sonic did achieve a super transformation using the Master Emerald. The last one does the trick, enraging Heavy King and distracting him enough for everyone to take the emeralds and steal them, leaving him powerless. It should be noted that he heard Sonic’s plan to do this immediately beforehand and was prepared to simply ignore him. Sonic managed to piss him off that much that he still ended up taking the bait.
# Characters.CodePrimeHolyBritannianEmpire: Cornelia generally tends to fight sloppily if she is extremely angry. It results in her losing against both Optimus and Megatron.
# Characters.SevenMortalSins: NobleDemon: While the other Sins are this to varying degrees, Satan is probably the straightest example of the seven. She's got a strong (maybe too strong) sense of justice and fairness, has a soft spot for children and cute animals, and has never displayed malice or sadism like her cohorts. If it weren't for her Hair-Trigger Temper and tendency to be BlindedByRage, she'd be a straight-up good guy.
# Characters.BowsersKoopalings: When things upset him, he's prone to mindlessly taking his anger out on others.In The Water Park, he goes amok and beats up most of his siblings after they did nothing but ignored his suggestions and belittled his ideas. In The Cell Phone, he prank calls and relentlessly insults a police officer after being put down by his siblings.
# Recap.EdEddNEddyS5E22AFistfulOfEd: After Eddy's heckling pushes Jimmy over the edge, Jimmy snaps and becomes a snarling beast that totally thrashes Edd, and by the time he calms down, he isn't even aware of what he did during that moment and is remorseful when he realized how seriously he beat Edd up.
# Fanfic.NymphAndTheCorruptedMiraculous: In Chapter 27, Adrien goes completely and utterly ballistic when Gabriel grounds him for losing the Miraculous grimoire and the Peacock Miraculous. This costs him any sense of reason he has and leads to his identity being publicly revealed.
# Characters.FinalFantasyXIVPrimals: Sanduruva's "Manusya Berserk" spell compels all affected party members to run up to her and use their auto-attacks on her. This conveniently brings them in range of her follow-up attack, a point-blank AOE.
# Characters.MobileSuitGundamWing: Often tries to invoke this, virtually everything Dorothy says comes out in the form of a mocking comment on another's actions or ideologies, barely framed as a sincere compliment. She does this in the hopes of rousing a reaction from whomever she is speaking with (most often Relena), but rarely receives the desired reaction. Rather than upsetting her, this always only amuses her and pushes her to continue. Very rarely does Dorothy ever come off as sincere, only towards the end of the series do her defenses begin to legitimately break down.

Ender's anger was cold, and he could use it. Bonzo's was hot, and so it used him.”

After his Memento Mori curse fails and Natsu gives him a brief Dragon Force-induced beatdown, he's so furious at Natsu that he fails to notice Gray getting back up and preparing to shoot him until it's too late.

# Fanfic.HereComesTheNewBoss: Bearskin's rage induction power isn't always useful (besides being distinctive), but it can be quite effective at preventing an opponent from escaping or strategising, provided that you're ready to deal with a direct assault. Elpis uses it to stop Hookwolf from fleeing to inform Kaiser of her identity; he immediately stops running and leaps at her.
# VideoGame.MidnightSuns: Even after being corrupted into a fanatical servant of Lilith, Venom hates Spider-Man so much that just seeing the webslinger is enough to make them drop whatever they're doing and chase after Spider-Man in a blind rage. Spidey exploits this to lure Venom to a bell tower (Venom being harmed by loud noises); they're so fixated on catching and killing Spider-Man that they don't even realize where they are until the bells start ringing.
# CobraKai.TropesIToR: Again, Trey and Cruz fight Robby but ambushes him with a third guy who holds Robby down after hitting him in the head with an oar. Zigzagged. Robby and Miguel fight at the end of Season 2 and although he loses against Miguel, he was so BlindedByRage that when Miguel let him go, Robby keeps fighting which ended in Miguel's spine being broken.
# VideoGame.InfernoMOO: If you become too stressed out (getting over 450 Stress) you have to relieve this stress or suffer a mental break, netting yourself a Mental. Abominations get it a bit different; they go into a murderous rage.
# Characters.SonicPrime: CompositeCharacter: While sharing Tails' likeness and abilities, he is closer to Eggman personality-wise, especially after his Face–Heel Turn and theft of the Paradox Prism. His Villainous Breakdown near the end of Season 3 highlights this best: even as he boasts of his newfound power, he eventually gets fed up with Sonic's refusal to submit to him and becomes BlindedByRage, enabling Sonic to gain the upper-hand. Conversely, Nine does have some of Tails' empathy, as shown by his remorse when he finally sees the damage he caused. He is also similar to Chris Thorndyke from Sonic X. Both of them are Sonic’s first friend in a new world. They both wanted to stay with Sonic forever and stopped Sonic from being able to go back to his world due to this, but eventually came around.
# Characters.{{Spacelords}}: Destroying his "house". He'd spent quite a while building it. It meant that much to Loaht that he refused to tell Harec about the Lyre Sphere - the only possible way of killing General Marmalade - because Cortez crashed on his dwelling.
# Characters.FullmetalAlchemistXing: She doesn't take kindly to any form of disrespect or insults towards Ling at all. Her volatility can lead to her becoming reckless in a fight, which Ed mischievously takes advantage of during his fight against her.
# Film.CurseOfChucky: Nica taunts Chucky about his "completion anxiety" over his never being able to kill Andy and her after twenty-five years. This buys her enough time for the power to come back on, allowing her to escape into the elevator.
# Characters.TheKarateKidRobbyKeene: Furious at being outfought by Miguel and then being released by him in an act of mercy, Robby seizes this brief moment of vulnerability and attacks Miguel again, kicking him off the railing. By the time he comes to his senses, it's too late. He only strains his relationship with his dad, Sam breaks up with him, and he's wide open for Kreese to manipulate him.
# Characters.HunterTheParenting: As Kitten says, an angry vampire is a predictable vampire. A few pointed insults were all it took for Pyotr to leap at Kitten and onto his stake in Chapter 1. He goes on to repeat this same blunder twice in Chapter 3, which leads directly to his final death. To his credit, he realizes his mistake and tries to avoid this, even using it against Kitten by attacking Marckus, but it just backfires on him. He also doesn't immediately leap at Door when provoked.

Ken and all of the other Kiri-nin are entirely focused on Takeo, not hiding their stares or bloodlust as the otter is brought out, leaving them distracted as Sugishi kills Juzo.

# Recap.SongsOfWarS1E07Episode7: Grim, after being knocked down from a cliff by Abbigail, becomes infuriated with her, which allows Abbigail to get a few good hits in before Grim accidentally stabs the water next to Abbigail, knocking him out of the fight.
# Characters.FullmetalAlchemistFather: Being petty and self-centered, Father often lashes out like a child when cornered and is bitter toward humans for having the connections he craves but is unable to attain being such an enormous Jerkass. Leads into Villainous Breakdown by the climax where he's screaming and raging at his plan being counteracted. Especially by a human (Ed), who beats the snot out of him without alchemy.
# Recap.IsekaiWalking: Most of the Demons lose their lives in the fight while Elizabeth repeatedly gloats and tries to provoke everyone into being BlindedByRage, until Sora unlocks several new skills and overpowers her with semi-automatic fire with bullets composed of her Kryptonite Factor. Elizabeth finally goes down, for keeps, Sora himself nearly dying in the process. The Dragon King appears to make sure she dies and then bring Sora and the survivors back to the mortal realm.

# Sandbox.MuundeisAdoptables: Latios had to be physically restrained by Latias to keep him from attacking the Genetic Pokémon in his base form in a blind, seething rage.
# Characters.AmazingFantasyMysteriosFaction: ItsPersonal: He takes any slight against Clash or Mysterio personally and flies into a berserk rage when someone tries to tell him Mysterio is manipulating him. But while this makes him ferocious and dangerous, he also gets sloppy, as he's so BlindedByRage that he decides to plunge a razorang through Rock Lock's face with his own two hands rather than simply throwing it at the Hero's heart. As a result, Rock Lock is able to throw up a piece of wood to shield himself from the blow and lock it down to deprive Rei of a weapon.
# Characters.FinalFantasyTacticsClasses: Blind Rage/Fervor inflicts Berserk, giving the target increased physical damage while limiting them to the Move and Attack commands, on top of always targeting the closest available unit.

However, her anger clouded her ability, as Striker was still able to get the upper hand because Millie got sloppy and resorted to just stabbing over and over.

LadyDevimon: (spinning Angewomon around by her hair) "Never did like that bleached look!" # PlayingWith.SharpenedToASingleAtom: Bob tricks Evulz into furiously slashing things with wild abandon, which very quickly dulls the sword to at least mundane levels.
# Characters.{{Vagabond}}: Downplayed somewhat. When he fights Musashi, Musashi is compensating for an injured leg by remaining still within a circle that he draws in the ground with a walking stick, and telling challengers that they can leave and Musashi will do them no harm, but if they enter the circle, Musashi will kill them. The circle is exactly as large as the reach of Musashi's sword, so it acts as a visual aid to Musashi, letting him time his strikes perfectly and make up for the fact that he has no mobility thanks to his lingering injury. Ittōsai immediately grasps the purpose of the circle, but he becomes so infuriated by Musashi refusing to meet his bloodlust and aggression in kind that he eventually charges into the circle, and takes a serious (perhaps even fatal) wound from Musashi doing so instead of finding a way to outsmart Musashi's stratagem.

# VideoGame.NightmareOfDruaga: Both enemies and Gil (including to himself, if you drink the wrong potion) are capable of inflicting negative status effects such as Berserk, Guard Down, Panic, Poison, and Sleep.
# TearJerker.AllForLuz: While many readers can agree that this chapter is a Catharsis Factor, it's painful to read the Luz be BlindedByRage throughout the remainder of the fight. The Luz in the show would make funny quips or goof around in a fight. She doesn't even demand to know why Riley betrayed her and tell her to surrender peacefully, like her show's probably counterpart would. No. Here in the story, there's none of that. She's just so, so angry by a member of her family's betrayal that she's gone into Gotta Kill Them All mode with no talking out of it.
# FridgeBrilliance.HelluvaBoss: During Millie’s massacre at the wedding, she’s in fully-focused Tranquil Fury mode rather than the frothing-at-the-mouth rage she’s demonstrated previously; Both earlier in the episode when finding out about Chaz ditching Moxxie during a heist, and when she lost it completely back when she walked in on Striker strangling him during the Harvest Moon Festival. This could be because (as far as she knew) Moxxie wasn’t in mortal danger this time around, or it could be a great showing of subtle Character Development; She probably remembered what happened the last time she blew her lid and didn't want a repeat of that.

# Characters.JoJosBizarreAdventureStardustCrusaders: Whenever he puts Polnareff in a bind when he and Kakyoin are chasing him, J. Geil fondly and proudly recounts raping and murdering his teenage sister and near-fatally wounding her friend; both for the purpose of getting his pursuer angry enough to make costly mistakes, and firmly establishing himself as one evil son of a bitch.
# Recap.GameOfThronesS6E9BattleOfTheBastards: Both Jon and Ramsay try to pull one in the prelude to the final battle. In the parley, Jon goads Ramsay by taunting him as a coward, hoping to make him angry enough to spoil for a fight, and later builds his battle plans on taking the Bolton charge to deny them the advantage of their numbers and superior cavalry. Ramsay, on the other hand, has Rickon run across the battlefield while almost whimsically firing arrows at him with the idea of provoking Jon to run forward from his protected lines to rescue him, and his outnumbered force forward to rescue him. As Sansa predicted, Jon's plan fails while Ramsay's succeeds.
# YMMV.LifeSMP: Skizz said it himself: he felt guilty for ending Jimmy and Cleo.note This is only half-true; he claims to not be guilty over killing Jimmy. It was self-enforced karma. He knew when he rushed the Crastle that he wasn't coming back out.
# Recap.AllForLuzChapter22: BitchSlap: At one point in the fight, Hunter basically pimp slaps Luz through an entire block of houses with seemingly little effort. It takes all of the girl's willpower to not become BlindedByRage by that.

# AccidentalAesop.LiveActionFilms: Infinity War: Many saw an Aesop that Love Is a Weakness; the heroes unwillingness to sacrifice loved ones, hesitation to do so until too late, and letting their emotions get in the way repeatedly causes them to fail to stop Thanos while Thanos's willingness to sacrifice loved ones and hesitating at nothing resulting in him getting everything he wanted. The next movie goes for the opposite message, which wouldn't be the case if the Aesop here was intentional.
# Series.{{Beef}}: CentralTheme: Poor Communication Kills. Every single interpersonal relationship in this show is tainted by lies: someone tells a falsehood to keep up appearances or manipulate the other character. In many cases, the characters have structured their lives around these lies. There is no relationship in which both parties are able to Be Yourself. (The sole possible exception is six-year-old Junie, who is too young to engage in this sort of artifice... though, as the show makes clear, she's learning.) Not coincidentally, every single interpersonal relationship in this show (and this time we are including poor Junie) is superficial and alienated, with people engaging in the niceties but unable to connect with each other on any level. The one exception is, of course, Amy and Danny. While the only thing they're expressing is that they are BlindedByRage, it's also the only genuine relationship, where both parties are honest with each other about themselves, on the show.
# PlayingWith.FilibusterFreefall: In-universe, the church officials see that the heroes are utterly obsessed with going to extreme lengths to tear down anything to do with them, and realize they can use that to make them BlindedByRage and, thus, vulnerable. Out-of-universe, another creator uses the Author Tract qualities of Chronicle Quest Genesis to Demonize it and promote their competing book as The Moral Substitute.
# Characters.TheHeroClub: Is implied to be a frequent problem with Gusty, and the reason she ended up on probation in the first place. During one such instance, she was so enraged that she broke all four of a stallion's legs over the Book of Heroes.
# Characters.HungerGamesSimulationNominatorsAndCo: He loses his focus and goes completely berserk when provoked, which can be very easy to do.
# Characters.FurryFightChronicles: ADeathInTheLimelight: They don't die, but their defeats take place in chapters that gives them focus.Chapter 16 shows Peki initially winning her fight, until she has a flashback explaining her betrayal, mainly Adelgund cheating on her. She gets BlindedByRage as she pummels Adelgund, leaving herself open to her former partner, who breaks her arm and legs. Chapter 17 shows Adelgund's defeat after losing the support of her fans. As she realizes that Nyarai is an opponent she can't beat, she has a Heel Realization when Muko tries to help her. Touched, Adelgund decides to let Nyarai defeat her to let Muko understand the true meaning of furry fighting.
# Characters.JoJosBizarreAdventureDiamondIsUnbreakableHeroes: A literal variant happens during his fight against Rohan, though it's ultimately subverted. Rohan repeatedly presses Josuke's Berserk Button — insulting Josuke's hair. At the time, Rohan's Heaven's Door Stand requires the victim to look at a page of his artwork to actually work, and Josuke fights with his eyes closed in an attempt to avoid this. While Rohan eventually succeeds in eventually making Josuke open his eyes, his rage has been triggered to the point that he can't actually see anything, artwork page included, since he's become literally blind with rage. Rohan goes from Smug Snake to terrified pleading with Josuke in the span of only a few seconds.
# ThisBites.TropesAToC: Did you really think we would TAKE THIS SHIT LYING DOWN? THEY WANT TO PLAY DIRTY, that's their problem. BUT WHEN THEY TAKE ONE OF OURS... we fight BLOODY. Kojiro also can only make the most out of his ability if he is 100% focused on his goal. Since Hanzo is both The Social Expert and a cunning Guile Hero, the Ninja immediatley starts exploiting Kojiro's insecurities via non-stop shit talking until the calculating swordsman is too pissed to notice he's walking right into Hanzo's traps.

While Kratos wasn't helping things by hiding his godhood from him, Atreus not knowing when to focus his emotions or channel his anger complicates things.
# Characters.Aurora2019: His full Crucible form. While transformed, he's lightning fast, strong enough to easily obliterate Obsidian Ghouls, who can resist most weapons, and impervious to all physical damage, including a full-force Void energy blast head-on. However, he's also solely focused on the source of his fury and cannot be stopped, leading to an enormous amount of risk for the people near him. The first time he transformed, he wrecked his entire village in the process of destroying the Obsidian Ghouls, to the point that everyone, including him, agreed he was too dangerous to stay.

Eda is able to trip her up very easily because Lilith starts losing focus when she's mad. During their fight in "Agony of a Witch", Lilith gets so angry after one too many barbs from her sister that she snaps and reveals that she was the one who cursed Eda, after decades of keeping the secret.
# Fanfic.SuperRWBYSisters: Super RWBY Gaiden's Chapter 3 shows us a prime example of what happens when you're blinded by revenge and hate. Dark Blake suffers this hard to the point where she ends up getting killed by it.Damian's rage over being defeated constantly by Bowser Jr and losing his chance to obtain a human skull. As a result, his rage ultimately lead to his defeat and death.
