  • In Adrian Mole, Adrian's son William loves the Teletubbies, and Adrian is desperate to find him the toys in the shops.
  • In I Think I Love You, Nightingale's boardroom is decorated with bargain Buddha figurines that look like Teletubbies.
  • In Afrotistic, Noa compares her brother Ray's movements to Laa-Laa, and Samuel's to Tinky-Winky.
  • In Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Manny watches a show called "The Snurples" which is similar to Teletubbies. There is even an article Susan reads that says watching the show will delay a child's language development (real studies were made about Teletubbies having this issue with the babies that watch it since the characters only talk in baby language)

  • Doctor Who: The master watches Teletubbies on his TV in Sound Of Drums.
  • ER: In "Nobody Doesn't Like Amanda Lee'', a Tinky Winky plush can be seen on a shelf when Dr. Peter Benton talks to Dr. Lisa Parks about his son Reese's difficulties in daycare.
  • Mimpi Metropolitan:
    • In episode 46, jealous that Juna gets to hug Agatha Chelsea in a soap opera filming while he doesn't, Alexi hugs them both while saying Teletubbies's catchphrase.
      Akbar: Alexi! Do you think this is Teletubbies?!
    • In episode 60, Alexi once again quotes Teletubbies's "Big hug!", this time during the Group Hug at the ending.
  • In Malcolm in the Middle a 7-year old boy Malcolm beat up (he thought he was way older) cries for his Teletubby doll while in pain.

Music

  • The New Zealand garage rock band She's Insane have a song called "Teletubbies" on their self-titled album, which was released in 1999. The official YouTube upload of the song is here.
  • The Peruvian alternative rock band Chabelos have a song named "El Quinto Teletubbie" (lit. The Fifth Teletubbie) on their third studio album named "Seko!". Both the lyrics and the original, uncensored music video are NSFW.
  • The song "edamame" by bbno$ featuring Rich Brian features the lyric, "Baby in the sun like the Teletubbies."
  • On TikTok, Andy Arthur Smith sang a NSFW rendition of the theme song, which got used in other videos. A version remixed by Pelanoroko was then released for streaming.

  • Sheldon: This strip shows off Flaco's rejected Halloween costumes. One of them is the fifth Teletubby (the one kicked out for Ringo).

  • Caddicarus: In his "The Horrifying World of PS1 Games For Babies" video, one of the games Caddy reviews is Play With the Teletubbies.
  • For the Dream SMP, Technoblade's description of his Doomsday War stream reads as follows:
    "LOCAL ANARCHIST TEAMS UP WITH HOMELESS TELETUBBY TO DESTROY GOVERNMENT"note 
  • PeanutButterGamer: In his "Top 10 WORST Licensed Games!" video, the Play with the Teletubbies game for the PS1 is placed in the #10 spot. He later did a playthrough with Space Hamster in 2019 on his gameplay channel.
  • Supermarioglitchy4's Super Mario 64 Bloopers: In these videos, Teletubbies are depicted as Ax-Crazy psychopaths with an arsenal of weapons who tend to kill anyone who isn't a Teletubby. One video, which was a parody of The Purge, involved all Teletubby crimes legalized for twelve hours and Mario & several other characters hiding from the Teletubbies.
  • SuperMarioLogan:
    • In "The Halloween Heist!", Joseph's Among Us costume is mistaken for a Teletubby. Cody thinks that Joseph is Tinky-Winky. Joseph reacts with this:
    Joseph: Tinky-Winky?! Not everything is about pee-pees Cody!
    • The SML cast actually used a Po plush to make the costume.
    • In "Jeffy’s Kids", the family-friendly version has the question at the end of the video asking "which Telletubby is your favorite?"
Western Animation
  • Arthur references the show quite a lot, possibly as a result of both being aired on the same channels in the United States and Canada.
    • In "The Contest", Beavis And Butthead-esque versions of Buster and Arthur dub Muffy the fifth Teletubby when she walks out in a Dipsy-esque outfit.
    • "That's a Baby Show!" has Arthur becoming obsessed with a Teletubbies parody called The Love Ducks.
    • At the beginning of "The Secret Life of Dogs and Babies", Kate and Pal watch a parody of the show called Vidiboobies. They've even got the baby's face in the sun!
    • "The Squirrels" has Arthur and Buster, attempting to get over their fear of squirrels (It Makes Sense in Context), watch a kids' show about squirrels that is a combination of Teletubbies and Care Bears.
  • Captain Flamingo: In "Cliffhanger", Kirsten always gets up early at the same time to watch Bitty Blobbies, a Teletubbies parody on TV, but when she turns it on to watch it, the show ends early due to the start of daylight savings, causing her to miss it for the first time in years.
  • The Fairly OddParents!: In "Imaginary Gary", among the things found in Timmy's mind are Teletubby expies called "TV Tubbies".
  • Family Guy: In "A Hero Sits Next Door", Stewie watches the show. When Peter changes the channel, Stewie thanks him for freeing him from their hypnotic grip, promising to kill him quickly and painlessly when he achieves world domination.
  • Futurama: At one point in "Bender's Game", when Leegola and Hermaphroditenote  are running through a field, the Teletubbies can be seen waving at them.
  • The Patrick Star Show: In "Patrick's Alley", GrandPat's face appears on the sun and he says a rhyme, referencing the show's intro.
  • Pinky, Elmyra & the Brain: In "My Fair Brainy", Elmyra and Pinky are seen watching The Telechubbies together.
  • Robot Chicken
    • One of the sketches in the first episode shows Po smoking a cigarette.
    • Another sketch shows the Teletubbies being recruited by Zordon to be the new Power Rangers.
    • In another sketch, as soon as the sun goes down, the Teletubbies use the TV screens on their bellies to watch porn.
    • One sketch shows the baby's face in the sun all grown up. She then declares that she is sick of doing the same thing everyday and she snuffs herself out, causing the Teletubbies to freeze to death.
  • Horrid Henry: The Happy Hippos and their show spoof of Teletubbies.

  • The Secret Files of The Spy Dogs: In the episode "Granny", the babies watch a parody of both Barney & Friends and Teletubbies. The credits also features "Doggie Bye-Bye" (a reference to Tubby Bye-Bye), which features a female voice saying "Doggie Bye-Bye" to Mitzy, Ralph and Angus, in which they say "bye" in their own way similar to what the Teletubbies do.
