The Dream SMP is a private Minecraft survival multiplayer server run by Dream. It features many prominent Minecraft YouTubers and streamers, including GeorgeNotFound, Sapnap, Wilbur Soot, TommyInnit, Philza, Technoblade, Ranboo, BadBoyHalo, and many, many more.^note For content creators with individual pages on TV Tropes, their pages are linked in their respective characters' section(s).

While a second volume was announced in August 2022, as of March 11, 2023, the series is confirmed to have reached its conclusion; several members reunited for a final stream on April 10, 2023, while Aimsey livestreamed a character finale with Ranboo on September 22, 2023. The arcs are divided as follows:

• Early Dream SMP Arc (Season 0): April 24, 2020 — July 23, 2020
• L'Manberg Independence and Manburg Rebellion Arcs (Season 1): July 24, 2020 — November 16, 2020
• Retribution Arc (Season 2): November 17, 2020 — January 20, 2021
• Empowerment Arc (Season 3): January 21, 2021 — November 28, 2021
• Legacy Arc (Season 4): November 28, 2021 — November 13, 2022

As of the final stream, the server was split into several factions: the Greater Dream SMP, the Badlands, The Eggpire, Snowchester, Kinoko Kingdom, the Syndicate and Las Nevadas. Defunct factions include Pogtopia, Logstedshire, New L'Manburg (formerly Manburg, and L'Manburg before then), El Rapids, Dry Waters, the Arctic Anarchist Commune (unofficially), Manifold Land, Little Penis Land, and Boomerville. Aside from the main series, there's also a spinoff series called Tales from the SMP. In contrast to the main series' continuous plot across many streams, Tales consists of loose and episodic stories from the perspective of Karl Jacobs, as he travels through time to document the server's past and future. A comic series based on Tales from the SMP, Time Traveler Tales, is being published by Dark Horse Comics.
