  • In the Cheers episode "Norman's Conquest", Carla says that everyone cheats on their spouses, adding that "the only difference between Dynasty and the real world is they got better haircuts."
  • In The Goldbergs episode "The Strangest Affair of All Time", Bev and Vic get together to watch Dynasty. Bev then compares her situation with Jane Bales, who is trying to control Murrays' business by seducing his partner Mike, to a plot straight out of the show, culminating in the two fighting each other in a pool.
    Vic: It's like Dynasty, but with smaller hats.
  • Radio Enfer: When Laplante claims he had an ancestor who lived in the time period of pharaohs and whose name was Nemesis I, fellow teacher Hervé Duguay asks him from what dynasty said ancestor came from. Laplante, misunderstanding the question, replies that he doesn't know because he doesn't watch that show.
  • The This Is Us Season 5 finale "The Adirondacks" where Rebecca where is annoyed that Jack taped over the season five premiere ("The Aftermath") plus Jack still spoils it for her by telling her what picked via office chat.(This was the post-Moldavian Massacre episode, so...)

Western Animation

  • On The Great North episode "Tusk in the Wind Adventure", the Tobins find a box full of tapes of Dynasty left by Beef's ex-wife and become hooked on them.
  • Family Guy: In "And Then There Were Fewer", Stewie and Brian play a game where they hum a TV theme song and the other has to guess what show. Brian hums the theme from The Dick Van Dyke Show, which Stewie guesses right off the bat; but when Stewie hums the Dynasty theme, Brian is stumped and, upon bring told the answer, says he never heard of it.
