The reason Blake and Alexis divorced is that Alexis is suspicious and weary of Blake secretly running a private detective agency full of attractive women. Given that Alexis has skeletons in her own boudoir hidden to Blake, they parted ways, and Blake married his secretary Krystle, who is also likely an agent investigating the Carringtons' discrepancies.
