Wei Wuxian tries to find a new and innovative way to farm crops... with mixed results.
- Big Brother Instinct: Wen Ning's brotherly instincts kick in when he's disturbed to see Wen Yuan pull out a skeleton and hastily jams it back in the ground before it can do anything to the child.
- "Eureka!" Moment: Seeing Wen Yuan pull out a skeleton from their garden gives Wei Wuxian the idea of using demonic cultivation to help improve their harvest.
- Green Thumb: Wei Wuxian has a "great idea" of using demonic cultivation to grow crops. It works too well — the crops end up coming to life and terrorising the Wen remnants in the Burial Mounds.
- Oh, Crap!: Wen Ning gasps in horror when Wen Yuan unknowingly uproots a skeleton and quickly shoves the bony hand back into the ground.
- Recycled Animation: The same sequence of Wen Qing working in the field and yelling at Wei Wuxian to stop eating their crops is repeated later when she sees him seemingly mess around again.
