It's time for the Festivale de San Lorenzo and Puss has been nominated San Lorenzan of The Year. Meanwhile, Toby's brother Brandt has returned looking for help to rescue his other brothers from an evil wizard.
Tropes:
- Call-Back: Puss wonders why everyone who comes to town brings an instrument and calls Brandt's guitar as worse than the Gob Flute.
- Dreadful Musician: Puss considered Brandt this with his guitar playing.
- Geeky Turn-On: Puss' reaction to seeing Dulcinea dancing.
- Easily Forgiven: Parodied, as Toby wonders why he should help him after all the mean things he did to him. Brandt just claims he never did that. Toby believes him.
- It's All About Me: Puss starts trying to turn the festival into being entirely about him rather than the town, to the point where he only agrees to help Brandt because Brandt starts getting more attention from the citizens than him.
- Heel Realization: Puss decides to try and convince Brandt's brothers to take him back by giving them the speech Puss intended to give at the festival but substituting "Puss" for "Brandt". Doing this causes Puss to realize how self-centered his speech is.
- Oblivious to Hints: To the point the other brothers flat out tell Brandt they kicked him out because of his It's All About Me attitude. He still doesn't get it.
- Self-Deprecation: Artephius states that the trick to macrame is to have literally no other interests.
- Ship Tease: The dance between Puss and Dulcinea at Festivale de San Lorenzo is one huge treat for anyone who rooted for them to become a romantic couple.
- True Companions: Brandt and Puss, after they fight some bandits, become this through the rest of their journey.
- What You Are in the Dark: Despite being kicked out for being a jerk, he truly thought his brothers were under some spell and did everything he could think of to try to save them and constantly mentions how much he loves them.
