The city is in chaos and Puss seems to suspect Dulcinea knows why, but she avoids his questioning and just wishes she could go somewhere private... and then magically disappears.
Cut to earlier that day, Dulcinea is eager to help out, but no matter where she goes nobody seems to need or want her help, making her quite depressed. That night she notices an especially bright blue star in the sky, and taking a chance, she wishes for a wilting flower to be alive again and it happens! The star grants her a medal claiming her to be an Official Secret Star Wisher and introduces itself as Esteban. The two hit it off immediately and are eager to help everyone around them, but Esteban reminds her that he has to be kept a secret; if she tells anyone about him the wishes will all be negated and Esteban will be put to sleep forever.
Tropes:
- Downer Ending: The Wishes get out of control, and when simply making more wishes clearly isn't fixing anything, Esteban insists that Dulcinea tell the truth in order to eliminate the chaos created by the wishes, killing him in the process.
- Gone Horribly Wrong: Every wish to do good backfires and just makes everything worse.
- Foreshadowing: In the end San Lorenzo ends up floating in space isolated in a bubble with the only solution remaining being to hit the Reset Button. Are we talking about the plot of this episode or the plot of the series finale?
- Furry Reminder: When Puss won't stop asking about what's going on, Dulcinea wishes for a distraction and Esteban causes a yarn cart to crash, causing Puss to be distracted playing with all the balls of yarn.
- Literal Genie: It would appear that Esteban himself is unaware of this fact until after they realize all the wishes have backfired. Dulcinea does not help matters either, culminating in her wanting Sino's barrier to be restored, but wishing "San Lorenzo were separate from the rest of the world"...

- Twitchy Eye: Puss notes that Dulcinea's eye is twitching and realizes it means she is lying to him.
