Nightmare Fuel / New Vegas Bounties

Nightmare Fuel pages are Spoilers Off.

  • Marko, The Dreaded that he is, has more than his fair share of moments like these:
    • Virgil tells you about a time where Marko would castrate, blind, cut off the tongue and paralyze some of his enemies and keep them alive for as long as possible to show what happens to those who oppose him.
    • Does it have to be mentioned what Marko does to you in New Vegas Bounties III? Not only does he leave you crippled, he buries you ALIVE and CONSCIOUS in a casket. There's a reason that the Courier probably is at least mildly claustrophobic after that.
    • Just so you have an idea, the Courier, who by the time you finish New Vegas Bounties III, might be the ultimate badass of the Mojave Wasteland, leaves Utah absolutely scarred for life both physically and mentally after what Marko puts them through. It doesn't matter if they took down Caesar's Legion, Mr. House, the Omertas, the White Glove Society, the Great Khans or even the Brotherhood of Steel beforehand. It doesn't matter that they survived the Sierra Madre, drove back the White Legs, survived the Big Empty and walked the Divide, the most feared person in the entire Mojave is left traumatized by someone who ends up proving themselves to be far, far more intimidating and evil.
  • Several other targets also have some horrifying moments. Jacob Powers, for example, is found near a cage containing both children and barrels of nuclear waste, with several of the children being either horribly mutated or dead. Both Freddie and Uncle Chuckles are confirmed to have kidnapped and eaten children. Eileen carries an account of having tortured an NCR trooper nonstop for twelve days before she finally let him die. These are just some of the examples.
