Go To

Since this mod is a Recursive Fan Fiction of Friday Night Funkin': Corruption, the Corruptions proves itself to be a deadly threat that can harm any character with no body safe from its infection.

There will be unmarked spoilers for Corruption Expanded, as well as some late arrival spoilers for the events of Friday Night Funkin': Corruption.

Week 1

Ruins/Perished

  • Due to how badly the Corruption had spread onto the world, Sarvente reveals as to how Ruv had risked his life to saving the survivors having to live through the apocalypse.
  • Sarvente is alone inside her church and when confronted by Evil Skid and Pump, she has to deal with them while having no back up.
  • The way Evil Pump speaks in his dialog box is by screaming, while Evil Skid just lets out numbers that cannot be understood.
  • Despite Skid being fully consumed by the Corruption, he can barely talk out of his mouth in his pleas to be freed out of the infection.

Disdain

  • Sarvente is working her best to have Skid freed from his Corruption, but Evil Pump doesn't seem to be thinking clearly and believes it to be Spooky Month.

Despair

  • Sarvente's efforts to uncorrupt Skid from his Corruption only causes the Corruption on her body to continue worsening. Eventually, the infection on Sarvente's body becomes so bad that she is unable to move her arm and now has to hold it, just so she could stabilize herself in battling Skid and Pump.
  • It appears as though Sarvente is uncorrupting Skid and Pump from their Corruption, but at the second half of the song, the duo's Corruption worsens to fully corrupt them again.

Daemonophobia

  • Having failed to uncorrupt Skid and Pump, Sarvente has no other choice but to kill them. As she prepares to battle them one last time, Sarvente is remorseful for what she has to do to protect herself and the corrupt duo only taunts her to come join them.
  • Sarv goes into her demon form to battle the Corruption, but it turns out to be a horrible idea, since it only worsened the Corruption on her body and she has to work herself at her best to ensure Evil Skid and Pump are killed.
  • Initially in their battle, Sarvente does well in battle Evil Skid and Pump, until the duo receives reinforcement of more corrupted victims to back them up.
    • Among the corrupted victims, Daddy Dearest reveals his new horrifying corrupt form, due to his defeat in "Deathmatch".
  • After the corrupted army weakens Sarvente, Evil Skid and Pump return to overpower her, while the latter is too tired to continue singing.
  • The song "Dark Past" brings a somewhat ominous moment where an uncorrupted, Sarvente, Skid, and Pump are singing together, until their body slowly fade away.

Week 2

Blasphemy

  • Ever since the Corruption had begun infecting everyone, the remaining survivors being Ruv, Kapi, Carol, and Sunday are forced into hiding inside their base to prevent any corrupted victims from spotting them.
  • Ruv is notified by the distress signal from Sarvente that she is in trouble and requires rescue from him. Although noble for Ruv to answer her call, he is only risking himself in a Snipe Hunt where she had already been overpowered by the Corruption.
  • A large boom is heard, prompting Ruv to leave the base and is worried over having to drive away Evil Pico away from the hideout.

Presledovanila

  • Ruv tried his best on giving out threats to shoo away Evil Pico, but the latter only responds by shooting off Ruv's hat.
  • Ruv at first has an advantage over Evil Pico with the help of Sunday rocking onto her guitar through the phone Ruv has received, but Evil Pico destroys the phone halfway through the song. With Sunday gone, Ruv is left all alone to face off Evil Pico, while at the same time, running to Sarvente's church.
  • To make matters worse, Evil Mommy Mearest shows her face near the end of "Presledovanila" and Ruv's Corruption quickly worsens.
    • For Ruv's losing icon during his most corrupted in the song, his eye is bleeding from the spread of the Corruption.

Intermission

  • In the aftermath of Sunday losing her connection with Ruv, she worries over Ruv being all on his own the battle the Corruption.
  • As the trio of survivors battle Evil Girlfriend, the latter is frequently letting out horrifying screams whenever Sunday plays her guitar intensely.

Rebellion

  • Ruv is getting tired over trying to run away from Evil Pico and the Corruption gradually worsening, so the former chooses to stop to prepare for the last showdown that will decide their fate.
  • The discussion of Carl and Joe about Captain John's fate brings a disturbing possibility as to what happened to him, ever since the Corruption started.
  • Ruv tries to run away from Evil Pico once again, but the latter is so determined over catching Ruv that he hops right back on Evil Mommy Mearest's limousine to continue their chase once again.
  • In a mixture of being a Tear Jerker, the arrival of Evil Sarvente destroys Ruv's hope that she is still alive and replaces it with the realization that he had only endangered himself to the Corruption by coming near her church.
  • If dealing with both Evil Sarvente and Evil Pico wasn't hard enough for Ruv, the arrival of Evil Mommy Mearest and her Henchmen is what truly changes the tide of the battle against Ruv.
  • The Corruption on Pico's body has been harming him so much, that the only option he can have to find peace is by forcing his corrupted hand to shoot himself in the head.
  • Despite the best efforts of Carl and Joe to backup Ruv, they realize that saving him is a lost cause, since he is going insane over Evil Sarvente and Evil Mommy Mearest exchanging leads over the song. Due to Ruv's breakdown, the best course of action for Carl and Joe is to leave him and fight another day.
  • Pico temporarily breaks out of his Corruption only so he could beg Ruv to kill him, most likely because living inside the Corruption is a Fate Worse than Death for Pico.
  • To make matters worse, once the Corruption fully consumes Pico again, the evil self taunts Ruv for believing Pico's words. Evil Pico gives a disturbing revelation that not even death itself is enough can save anyone trapped in the Corruption.
  • Ruv's efforts to kill Evil Pico go a waste in the end, as not even his Last Ditch Move Spam Attack was enough for Ruv to win the fight. After unleashing that attack, Ruv loses his ability to regenerate his health bar and is then finished off by Evil Sarvente.
  • Evil Sarvente shows off an illusion where she herself and Ruv are briefly children. Evil Sarvente lets out her final words to taunt Ruv, before they both return to their adult forms and she takes the opportunity to charge at Ruv in his weakest state.
  • Right as the attack ends, the first thing shown on the camera is Ruv's feet and as it raises up, Ruv lets out a powerful scream in his corrupted form to fully confirm his fall in battle.

Week 3

Last Agony

  • In the aftermath of Carl and Joe's assistance to Ruv, all their efforts were for nothing and they are all on their own with a lack of ammunition for their weapons and a busted tank to ride on. Carl and Joe's survival are now at stake, as they now have scout and defend their area until Captain Skittles and reinforcements come to their rescue.
  • Of all the corrupted victims Tabi has to face, he has to face down Evil Daddy Dearest, the strongest victim to have fallen into the Corruption.
  • Evil Daddy Dearest introduces himself by Emerging from the Shadows as a tactic to have Tabi fear his arrival.
  • Tabi's bloodthirsty attitude over fighting Evil Daddy Dearest and being overly aggressive on the latter's fall to the Corruption.
  • By the start of the fight, Tabi may have had the advantage by easily pushing down Evil Daddy Dearest's health bar, but near the end of the battle, Evil Daddy Dearest uses more of his power and succeeds in beating Tabi.
