Heartwarming / Total Drama All-Stars Rewrite

  • Numerous scenes involving Geoff and Bridgette's wedding.
    • When Sierra dumps the big reveal on everyone of the couple's plans in the 10th Aftermath, Bridgette expects the Peanut Gallery to ridicule her and Geoff due to their infamous Makeout Kids routine and just tells them all to go ahead and attack them. Instead, everybody applauds and cheers for them, and they all make it clear how happy they are for the two.
    • Bridgette's wedding vows.
Bridgette: Geoff, getting to know you over the last three years was undoubtedly the best thing that ever happened to me. I may be a klutz, and you may be kind of... a boob—I’m sorry! (Geoff just shrugs and smirks) But between the two of us, we’ve made something beautiful; something that I wouldn’t give up for anything in the world. (Sniffles a bit) I love you, Geoff, and I always will.
    • Geoff's Act of True Love doubles as this and an Awesome Moment.
    • In My Big Fat Total Drama All-Stars Wedding, Geoff worries that he will mess up things with Bridgette again due to all the drama the two's relationship has experienced in the series. The ensuing exchange between him and Bridgette sees the latter state as clearly as possible to her boyfriend that even despite all the crap they've been through, their love has endured and will continue to, and how even if things aren't always smooth sailing for the two of them, they will always still love each other and make things work in the end. As Owen himself says, "Oh, that is so beautiful!"
Bridgette: ...Unhappiness? Geoff, how could you think you’d bring me ANY unhappiness?
Geoff: (Tears leaking out) Because I’ve done it before, babe! The time I made you that crappy clay bowl, the fight we had after we got the boot in season 2-
Bridgette: Geoff, that fight only lasted half a minute...
Geoff: ...Yeah, but THE SCAR REMAINS!!! Oh, and let’s not forget, me acting like a royal turd in season 2! I almost lost you like... a million times! I can’t risk losing the hottest chick in the.. in the universe! THAT’S why I’m freaking out, but you don’t need that and now I feel even dopier and...
(Bridgette puts her hand over Geoff’s mouth, and flashes him a saddened smile)
Bridgette: ...Geoff, shut up for a minute so I can tell you I love you.
Geoff: (Muffled from Bridgette’s hand) ...Seriously?
Bridgette: Yes, seriously. (takes her hand away) Geoff, listen; I’m not gonna deny that some things happened between us... but look what happened: we patched things up, shared a kiss... that lasted about an hour... and everything turned out okay again.
    Geoff: Well yeah... But...
Bridgette: AND, it was NOT a stupid clay bowl... I glued it back together and I keep it beside my bed every night.
    Geoff: (Perks up) no fooling?
Bridgette: No fooling... And yes, I DO think about you whenever I drop loose change in it. (most of the rest of the cast goes "awwww", Geoff just squeaks happily) Besides, you think you’re the only one who almost screwed up their relationship?
Trent: Yeah, man, at least you still got the girl at the end.
Bridgette: Plus me with the (glares at Chris) NEVER TO BE MENTIONED AGAIN INCIDENT. (Chris and Chef put on innocent smiles) I messed up and you still stuck by me... Heck if it wasn’t for you, we wouldn’t be sitting here together.
Geoff: So you’re really not nervous about this, babe?
Bridgette: Well... A little. But sometimes, when you love someone, you gotta take a risk. It’ll be scary, no mistake in that... But I think it’ll be worth it.
  • The Owen/Izzy plotline also has its highlights.
    • Noah bringing Izzy over to see Owen again in "Singin' in the Pain". The big guy is just so overjoyed to be reunited with her.
    • Owen finally being reunited with Izzy in "The Bold and the Booty-ful" (at the cost of getting eliminated for destroying Chris' animatronic monster and Mt Chrismore).
  • Gwen and Duncan's relationship remains steady and strong because, unlike in canon, they share their respective worries (Gwen trying to mend bridges with Courtney, Duncan worried about losing his edge) and show total support to each other, showing maturity on both sides.
    • At the end of "Evil Dread", Gwen's bummed because no matter what she does (and it's hinted that Chris is manipulating things to keep the hate strong), she can't mend bridges with Courtney. Duncan promptly stops laughing at his ex to tell her that despite her place on the Villainous Vultures, she's not a villain, but more of an anti-hero. Gwen then admits that a big perk of being on said team is that she's with her boyfriend.
    • Duncan gets a kick out of antagonizing Courtney (partially as pay back for the way she's treating Gwen), but when Gwen asks him in "Moon Madness" to tone it down so she has a better shot of befriending her, he agrees after some trepidation. But under the condition that Gwen stops letting Courtney get her down.
    • Then near the end of the subsequent episode, Duncan outright apologizes to Courtney for his part in their breakup. All because Gwen asked him to.
    • When Duncan recognizes Mal, the first person he warns is Gwen. And she immediately believes him, resolving to keep an eye on the multiple-personality disorder kid. She also tells him to warn Zoey next, which he instantly agrees to.
    • Even after Duncan gets arrested like in canon for blowing up Chris' cottage, Gwen sends him off with a good luck kiss and he remains supportive of her throughout his time locked up. And when Bridgette tosses her bouquet after her wedding, guess which pair catches it (aside from Owen and Noah).
    • When Gwen takes out Zeke in "Ye Zeek and Ye Shall Find", she says that the blow is not only for Cameron, but also because Zeke beat Duncan up during the Africa challenge in World Tour.
    • Perhaps the best sign of their relationship? After Duncan's dad disowns him from the family, even after he gets out of prison on early parole, just to maintain his position on the police force, Gwen lets him stay at her family's house. And neither her mom nor her brother have any objections whatsoever.
  • When Chris offers the heroes a chance to bring one of the villains to the spa hotel in "Food Fright", they all choose Gwen, no questions asked.
  • When Geoff and Bridgette reveal all the angry letters they've been getting from fans mad that Duncan and Gwen have become a couple, Trent steps in and addresses the issue.
Trent: (Looks directly into the cameras) Look, I’m flattered you guys want me and Gwen to get back together, but it’s not gonna happen. I’M the one who messed up, not Gwen. She has Duncan now and ...I’m ok with that.
(Jo cringes, preparing for the catapult. But it doesn’t move)
Jo: Whoa. You’re seriously okay with getting dumped on international TV, Elvis?
Trent: I mean ok yeah, I STILL think Duncan’s a jerk, but he DOES care for Gwen... in a jerky way. Besides it’s Gwen’s choice who she dates; not mine, not Courtney’s, not anyone’s. If she’s happy, I’m happy.
  • Dawn and Noah developing feelings for each other and having some cute couple scenes, but there is no diminishment of their respective personalities in the process.
    • There's also never any fighting between them as with other couples on this crazy show; even when Dawn confesses that she knew all along that Mal had returned, Noah doesn't blame her for any of the trouble that lunatic's caused. He goes so far as help her set up an animal shelter, even being Chris' servant to get the funds necessary.
    • After the two share their first kiss accidentally in "Food Fright", Dawn starts squealing like a schoolgirl in the confessional. Both Zoey and Owen also admit it's sweet if kind of awkward.
    • Their exclusive clip in "My Big Fat Total Drama All-Stars Wedding", of Noah tucking Dawn into bed with a good night kiss. It even gets the villains to "aww" at the adorableness (much to Noah's dismay).
  • Call it naivety, but Zoey consistently hopes that Mike is still somewhere inside his body, even with Mal getting stronger and more vicious throughout the series. And her hopes are eventually answered come the the finale.
  • Noah and Owen. Best friends that have each other's back no matter what. When Mal torments Owen, Noah shows immediate concern and does everything he can to help his "chubby buddy."
    • Noah admitting to missing Owen in "Saving Private Leechball" while they're on separate teams. Also the two of them refusing to leech each other.
    • Owen's also ecstatic over Noah getting a crush on Dawn, quickly making himself the #1 Shipper on Deck for the two.
    • In "Zeke and You Shall Find", when it looks like the two are about to be dumped in toxic waste, Noah tells Owen that he's the best friend Noah's had on the show. Owen then tells Noah he's his best friend ever, getting Noah to smile.
    • Owen also becoming Chris's assistant to help Noah pay for Dawn's animal shelter faster.
  • Owen, Noah, and Dawn's alliance after the merge. Owen and Dawn clearly get along well, notably Dawn is the one to propose the alliance, and Noah isn't forced to choose spending time between each other.
  • Gwen and Zoey's friendship gets even more moments throughout the episodes, to the point where each calls the other a surrogate sister.
  • Similarly, Gwen's friendship with Cameron. Gwen states that she sympathizes with Cameron's Bubble Boy background due to her own unpleasant experiences with confined spaces, and that she sees him as a sort of little brother. And on the Aftermath, a bonus clip is shown of Gwen tucking a sleeping Cameron into bed and giving him a pat on the head before leaving.
  • The same goes for Zoey's friendship with Dawn. The previous season had Zoey freaked out by Dawn's abilities but by this point, the Indie Chick has become so close to the Moonchild that she immediately takes note of her suspicions about Mal. And like Owen, Zoey supports Dawn's feelings for Noah and can't help but gush over them whenever they're together.
  • Owen and Brick's friendship, such as Brick going back to save Owen in "Moonlight Madness" despite his fear of the dark. The two also show each other nothing but respect and praise for their respective accomplishments throughout their interactions with each other. Brick never belittles Owen so much as once like others have.
  • Scott cheering Owen up after Noah and Dawn's eliminations, and the subsequent development of their friendship. Notable in that he isn't trying to work an angle or forge an alliance, Scott just doesn't like seeing the Big Fun in a bad mood.
Scott: Yeah Owen’s a goody-goody, but the guy smells like a donkey using an outhouse... (Smiles warmly) And I respect that stink!
  • In "Sunday Muddy Sundae", Owen's seriously hurt by Courtney calling him useless on her chart. But Zoey, Gwen and Scott all assure him that he's far from it, raising his spirits again.
  • Owen making his goodbyes with Zoey, Gwen, and Scott after he is eliminated.
Owen: I’ll miss you, Zoey. Thanks for being an awesome friend.
Zoey: Aww, thanks. And thank you for being one of the sweetest, and grossest, guys I ever met. (Ruffles hair affectionately, Owen giggles)
(Owen walks up to Gwen next)
Owen: Sorry we didn’t get to be on the same team together again.
Gwen: Yeah, that would’ve been great... though face it, you’re too nice to be a villain, big guy. (Chuckles, then hugs Owen tightly) You take care of yourself, ok?
Owen: You got it! And once Duncan gets out, I’ll say hi for you!
Gwen: (Lets go of Owen and squees a bit. Looks around) You all heard nothing. Got it? (Everyone just smiles mischievously)
Owen: (Walks up to Scott) Good luck, Scott. Thanks for being a cool dude the past few days.
Scott: (Smirks sadly) Every time I smell Mama’s cookin’, I’ll think of you. (They both high five)
  • The scene where everyone kisses during "The Final Wreck-Ening" is just as cute as in canon, with Dawn and Noah and Duncan and Gwen getting to kiss (the latter when Duncan clears his throat after Gwen's canon kiss with Cameron) and then Courtney just giving Cameron an affectionate pat on the head.
  • Alejandro admits that despite his pride preventing him from just letting her win, he wants Heather more than the million dollars. Heather blushingly admits she's wired the same way.
  • Duncan getting Izzy to pile drive Chris to make him stop tormenting Courtney, who was on the point of tears. When asked why, Duncan says that while he may not like Courtney, Gwen still wants to be friends with her, so he will play nice if he has too. Gwen, who sees this from the Green Room, is beyond touched.
  • Noah reveals (or more Dawn reveals for him) in "My Big Fat Total Drama All-Stars Wedding" his embarrassment of finding love after making fun of everyone else's love lives, and his fear of being mocked for it. Just like the 10th Aftermath, everyone's just happy for him.
Heather: Seriously, dating or not dating, you’re still an annoying little know-it-all!
Noah: (Sighs contently) that’s all I ask.
  • In "My Big Fat Total Drama All-Stars Wedding", Mike worries that Mal will return and ruin everything between him and Zoey as he almost did for them during the season. Similar to Bridgette's talk with Geoff over his worries about screwing up their relationship, Zoey gives Mike a slap in the face and delivers a speech that is as touching as it is badass.
Zoey: Now, Mike, I know you’re worried about Mal coming back... but you know what I say? (Looking confident) I say LET him come!
    Mike: Wait... what?
Zoey: I’m serious! I’m not gonna be afraid of some wannabe criminal who thinks it’s cool to bully my Mike!!
Mike: Zoey, I... Wait, YOUR Mike?
Zoey: (Crosses her arms and huffs) Yeah, I said it. No regrets. Anyways, yeah I know Mal is a dangerous freak... but here’s the thing; he may be a part of your subconscious, but that doesn’t mean he’s you. You’re better than him. The Mike I love cares for the people around him; even the jerks... like Scott.
    Scott: Hey!
Zoey: And even if Mal does come back, I know you can beat him... You did it once, and you’ll do it again. (Mike smiles and pulls Zoey into a tight hug.)
  • It's small, but when Amy and Sammy are brought up to ask Owen some questions, the other contestants waste no time telling off Amy for being such a jerk to her sister. Sammy even gets to give Owen a hug.
    • Sammy's question leads Owen to reveal that he has no friends at home and is extremely unpopular at his school, which is why he treasures his friends from the show so much and why he is always so hyped up to return for a new season. The other contestants are both baffled and touched.
    • When Jasmine shows up at the wedding because Chris called her in for the next season and to sort out Topher, she apologizes to Geoff and Bridgette for intruding. The couple, however, states there's no problem with it and Bridgette even invites her to stay afterwards. What's notable is that Jasmine is the only "random guest/season six contestant" to get this honor.
  • The final scene with the original contestants is this, a Moment of Awesome, and a Tear Jerker. The original cast's most enduring couple taking off in their "Just Married" limo and bidding their castmates goodbye, the others all smiling and/or in tears, and Owen bawling his eyes out as he bear-hugs his friends. The fic's writers just really knocked it out of the park with creating a farewell moment for the original 22 contestants the fans have known for 5 seasons.
