Year 1
- The opening of the story reveals that this Peter Parker grew up with a friendly support system around him. With not 1, but 3 best friends who always hung alongside him.
- First was Mary Jane Watson. The Girl Next Door full of life and pep.
- Second was Harry Osborn. Despite their different social classes, they cared for each other as best guy friends.
- Third is Gwen Stacy. Peter's mirror with brains and beauty.
- Even though it would be tainted with tragedy, Peter's last word with Uncle Ben is asking for advice indirectly on how to handle his new powers. And Peter actually does try to take his words to heart.
- Julia Carpenter giving Peter the call to remember that With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility. That she can help prepare him to save his friends even if he couldn't save Uncle Ben.
- Peter decides to make up with being cold to MJ by revealing his powers to her. Making her his first confidant.
- After rescuing Midtown High from the enforcers, the entire school is lead by Flash Thompson in thanking their new hero Spider-Man.
- And then there's the quiet joy that Mary Jane and Peter share together knowing that he saved Gwen.
- The birth of the Spider-Man Fan Club. As after having her interview rejected, Betty Brant teamed up with Flash Thompson to create a support group for the Spider doing so much good for New York.
- Then, the student body came in to support him in his struggle with Tombstone.
- Peter giving support to Carol as she tries to piece together what she believes in and who she is.
- In return, Carol decides to model her new look after him as thanks for him giving her shelter after escaping the Kree.
- Peter and May finally have a long overdue talk about how and why he's Spider-Man. With May giving peter the first real step forward in forgiving himself about Uncle Ben.
Year 2
- Peter and T'Challa bonding over lost family they feel responsible for losing.
- Christmas this year got...awkward due to girls in their period getting snippy with each other. But by the end of their talks with each other, they get into a pillow fight of joy.
- Peter and his girls resolving to rescue Felicia's mom from The Foreigner.
- Christmas Day celebrations feature Peter getting 3 different displays of affection to him.
- First is Felicity, who gave Peter a goodbye kiss before being moved into protective custody.
- Second was MJ, who was pushed by Aunt Anna to be brave enough to tell Peter that she does love him now.
- And finally, Peter and Gwen reconciling their duties with their feelings, and deciding that they want to give being a super couple another try.
- So impressed by Peter's dedication to having restraint even when stranded and alone, Natasha finally decides that she's had enough of following orders, and agrees to help the spiders escape Russia.
- To snap Gwen out of her brainwashing, Peter refuses to fight her, using The Power of Love to break through her shell.
- Steve Rodgers giving Peter and Gwen a serious talk about how to handle Gwen's new PTSD.
Year 3
- Miles and Jefferson Davis are both thrilled to see Aaron back from prison. Despite doing wrong, both the brother and nephew were just happy to see uncle aaron back in their lives.
- In a different dynamic from previous years, Jessica Drew affirms to Peter that her time of teaching the spiders is over. And that for Peter to grow to the next stage of his life, he needs to step up and be Miles's heroic mentor.
- Madame Web's brief conversation with MJ. While MJ sees herself on the outside of the spider web of influence, as she leaves, Julia gives her an eggmatic smile. Saying that she's destined to one day receive everything she ever wanted. That her and Gwen are BOTH the loves of Peter's life.
- Even if Gwen did it out of her own distraction helping Jessica Drew, her snapping at her uncle gave him a realization that to do right by his niece, it might be time to consider guardianship back in the states with someone he can trust: Aunt May.
- At the end of his life, Miles is able to tell his Uncle that he's proud of him for doing what's right to help them save the world. And Aaron in turn affirms that he's proud of Miles for all he did too.
Year 4
- Anya Corezon's secret joy that she managed to keep her spider powers thanks to Peter's blood transfer.
- Then there's her excitement that she not only got accepted into the Web Warriors, but Janet Pym was nice enough to design her black and white costume to help her have flair in her new life.
- After getting out of Ravencroft, Eddie Brock did sincerely try to turn over a new leaf with his old flame.
- Kamala Khan's eager talks with Spider-Man on what it means to become a hero, and how he begins giving her a boost to become an even better one under his guidance.
- After the mess of Superior Spider-Man, Peter still was gracious enough to ask Anna Marie to join the spider family for Thanksgiving.
- Peter Parker's Christmas proposal to Gwen Stacy.
- With her future hanging in the balance, Miles manages to talk Bombshell out of becoming a murderer to avenge her mother. That he knows the pain she went through, but that the only way through is with justice and friendship.
