As hilarious as the dubs are, they can sometimes actually be fairly sweet.

In General

• Hearing the dubbers laugh at each other's jokes. It really emphasizes the fact that the dubbers are friends.
• In October 2020, Alfred Coleman fell ill and had to start a crowdfunding campaign to pay for his medical treatment. The campaign soon received a massive boost in publicity... from Mike Pollock himself. While he made his disdain for Alfred's infamous moon rant quite clear - and continued to do so in the days after sharing the fundraiser - he also made it clear that he has nothing against Alfred himself and genuinely wishes him well.

Sonic Adventure 2

• Quite a few in the Behind the Dub version.
  • Everyone praising Blue for her performance as Tails.
  • This exchange before the Dark Story dubbing:
    Blue: (Hears someone playing the Harmonica) ...What is that?
    Haley: Oh, just playing the Harmonica.
    Blue: That's incredible!
    • Made even more heartwarming knowing that the two of them are currently engaged after meeting through this dub.
  • Everyone taking the time to pause the dub to save Alfred's infamous piss rant. He mentions earlier that he has no improv experience (comparing the dub as his "improv class"), so hearing everyone love his performance made him very happy.

Sonic 06

• Considering the Bad Future he comes from, there's something quite wholesome about Silver's awe at the ordinary things he finds in the past.
  Silver: Oh... Oh my gosh, this is... is that what a tree looks like? It's beautiful... Wait. Is that a rock too?! Fuck yeah! This place rules!
• After getting ridiculed for the entire dub (to the point that Blaze saying she's almost proud of him is a compliment to him), Sonic and Shadow finally stop hating Silver near the end, and even invite him to their polyamorous marriage.
• In retrospect from Sonic being called out as a jerk in Riders, he's comparatively nice to Elise in this dub and some of the meaner things he says to her could be interpreted as genuinely Innocently Insensitive or at Sonic trying to be nice but not having much experience at this time. Since Elise is still being frequently kidnapped by Doctor Eggman in the dub's story, this gives the impression that even though Sonic always thought he was just being funny he knew when to turn it off and wanted to be sympathetic to someone clearly expressing emotional distress at their ordeal.

Resident Evil 2

• In an odd way, the flashback to FloppyFeet's plea to Claire adds a heartwarming note to the final battle - as if his last request were being fulfilled.
  FloppyFeet: You have to drop those bitches, 'cause if you don't, then no one will. Please... for me... for the world... for everyone on Club Penguin... do this... for us.

Sonic Riders

• As absurd as the series often is, the video focuses heavily on Sonic realizing he's been an awful friend and genuinely apologizes to Tails and Knuckles.
  • Similarly, Jet, Wave and Storm's friendship comes across as very genuine, helping to highlight what about Sonic he needs to change. The three are consistently supportive and accepting of one another, and their bickering comes across as mutually comfortable friendly ribbing in contrast to the Sonic and friends' hurtful arguments.
• When Tails mentions that he missed his therapy appointment, the rest of the group sound genuinely sympathetic.
• Storm's response to Wave's suddenly developed European accent:
  Storm: Hahahaha! I can't understand you through your thick accent but I still like you because you're my friend!
• Jet telling everyone that during the 5 year Time Skip he realized that Storm and Wave were his True Companions all along.
  • When Amy mistakenly thinks Jet is talking about her too, he decides to roll with it and includes her among his friends.
• The dub turns one of Jet's characteristic angry outbursts into an apology for making Wave miss her dentist appointment.
  Wave: Well, now I must reschedule. You know how hard it is to find dentist when I have beak?! I hope it was worth it! Ugh, he's not available until next month...
  Jet: [long drawn-out growl] AAAGH! I can't fucking take this shit! The guilt is killing me! I'm sorry!
  Wave: Imagining yourself as a jet plane will not help you zis time, Jet.
  Jet: I think it will, but honestly, I just- I want to apologize.
  Wave: Okay, well I accept your apology.
  Jet: I'll do your dental work.
  Wave: Please don't.
• Jet and Storm geeking out over Storm's collection of HitClips.
  Jet: This is the best day of my life!
  Storm: I was hoping you'd say that. Ah, God, ya got me all giddy now!
  • Meanwhile, Wave's primary concern is making sure Storm remembers to eat his lunch.
• A minor example, but Storm is repeatedly ignored in the scene before Team Sonic and Team Babylon race in Crimson Tower. The others seem to brush him off and Sonic even insults him, but Tails calls him out for it and Amy lets Storm join them on their joyride.
  Storm: Guys, can I come?
  Wave: Yes.
  Amy: Yeah, of course!
  Storm: Oh, thank you.
• This exchange between Jet and Wave before entering the hell dimension.
  Jet: Now we have to go in there and-
  Wave: Jet, I vill follow you anyvhere. Just tell me where to go.

Until Dawn

• Scout takes a moment to compliment Holly's performance during their fourth-wall demolishing antics.
  Scout: And the tough part is we also have to make it work within the construct of the story, and I think Holly's doing a really good job of tying that all together, but at the same time it's very stressful!
  Holly: Oh, thank you!
  Scout: People- You're welcome, Holly- People don't understand how much work and time and thought goes into this!

Shadow the Hedgehog

• After Eggman reveals that he lost 300,000 dollars in a game over poker in his usual over the top manner, he suddenly becomes deadly serious as he breaks the fourth wall to warn the audience about the dangers of gambling.
  Eggman: Please don't form a gambling addiction. Don't be like me. It's over for me.
• A small one, but Shadow willingly agrees to embezzle a few thousand dollars for Rouge should he ever become the president.
