Amy releases Sonic from jail, who later confronts Shadow in the Tarzan's forest. Eggman blows up the island (much to Alfred's surprise). Eggman hacks public TV and blows up the moon for not having cheese.
Sonic meets his ex the President to talk about Dr. Glitch (Eggman) before Tails finds a disc with Sims 4, so they leave. The cast goes to Egypt and confront Eggman (Alfred is shocked to see a space shuttle inside a pyramid).
After explaining to Tails and Amy how he fucked crops, Sonic goes to find Eggman's nuclear reactor to insert the piss rock (Yellow Chaos Emerald) into it. Knuckles and Rogue have a date in space, during which Knuckles saves Rogue from falling. Eggman takes Amy hostage, so Sonic leaves the ᵇˡᵉⁿᶦˢ-affecting piss rock before Eggman sends him into space.
Tails fights Eggman to prevent him from making everyone watch his Splatoon videos on Vine. Sonic prays to piss rock and gets teleported to Knuckles. Sonic and Shadow have a race in the Fun Land.
The Eclipse Cannon blows up while coughing because it didn't take allergy medicine and Sonic gives a thumbs up.
Eggman finally manages to log in only to find Shadow's nudes on his wife's Twitter. Shadow his having a flashback of Maria trying to kill him because he's farted, then escapes Sonic with Za Warudo. Rogue guesses Eggman Twitter password, who got stuck in his base again.
Eggman confronts Shadow over what he did, and Shadow gets Eggman's account suspended. Rogue appears and says she's found a weed supply from Eggman's Twitter and the blue Emerald by sleeping with Martha too.
Eggman reluctantly makes the two join his team and sends them against Sonic to take drugs from him.
Shadow's first sinful thing is shooting Eggman, then fighting Sonic over who gets to kill the President. After defeating Sonic and Jonathan (Diablon), Shadow declares his goal to becoming the President himself, who is supposedly stronger than Jesus, then eventually taking over Hell itself.
The Devil resets the timeline and makes Shadow gather Sin Points again, as while what he did was illegal, it's actually the opposite of "sinful". A flashback shows Rogue awakening Shadow, along with Omega, so he can lend her money later. When the three meat Team Sonic, they make gun rights as a topic for their election run platform.
The Devil assists Shadow by summoning a guy (Black Bull) from the heaven, being worth 16 Sin Points upon death. Shadow starts seeing flashbacks from the Sonic Adventure 2 dub. Shadow and Omega battle Eggman to get his Sin Points after killing him and have a battle in Hell, acquiring the Sin of Gambling.
Somehow that destroys Hell, so the Devil resets the time again and sends Shadow to do crimes in space, sending him 50 years ago to the Colony ARK. Shadow destroys Heavy Dog to Maria's horror, but to the Devil wasting military money doesn't count. Off-screen Shadow went with the Devil to Chuck E. Cheese.
Sonic reveals to Shadow that he has won the presidential elections while being in a coma for 50 years by the merit of every other candidate getting assassinated. So Shadow goes to rewrite the Constitution (Cyan Emerald). On his way out he is trapped by Maria in a fart-sealing containment, tying-in to the Adventure 2 dub. It turns out Shadow has given furries voting rights, to Sonic's and Eggman's horror.
Team Chaotix are trying to steal the United States Ballots by downloading them, before Shadow comes in and deletes the blockchain. A flashback shows Shadow hiring them to rig the election. In the present Shadow starts feeling that the timelines are converging.
A flashback shows that young Commander playing with Maria before eavesdropping on Gerald Robotnik creating creating the ultimate streamer sinner for the Devil. Inside the blockchain Shadow and Vector beat the Devil.
Shadow beats up Sonic, who reveals that the Devil never reset the timeline, Shadow just fails to kill anyone. Then Shadow beats the Devil again, which makes him stop fanboying.
When Shadow considers what to do with the Chaos Emeralds, the Devil shows up again. The rest of the cast appears to give Shadow a pep-talk, but the Devil goes into a villainous tantrum. When everyone gets frozen in time, Shadow realizes just how parasocial the Devil is and goes inside his rib cage.
While Shadow and the Devil have a verbal confrontation, Team Chaotix accidentally broadcast a message from Gerald that Shadow being the Devil's friend was a prank the entire time. Shadow activates the President powers (Super Shadow), beat's the Devil's verbose dog (Devil Doom) and sends his comet flying to be destroyed by Eggman's piss cannon. Everyone celebrates and Shadow becomes disillusioned from Maria.
