  • Alucard choosing to turn Seras is the closest thing to a conscience he shows the entire series. You know, besides the fact that he shot the hostage 10 seconds ago.
Alucard: You're like a puppy! A blonde, eviscerated puppy!
  • Minor, but when the Major sneezes, the entire Nazi force says gesundheit (bless you)
  • While discussing the budget in Episode 2, Alucard's brief dialogue with Walter is oddly respectful.
Alucard: Walter, we need that, right?
    Walter: Yes, very important.
    Alucard: Thank you, Walter.
    Walter: Of course, sir.
  • You really wouldn't expect this coming from this type of series, but Alucard's flirting with the Queen in Episode 4 somehow manages to be this. The fact that the two of them are genuinely fond of each other in their own bizarre way is strangely sweet, especially considering what Alucard is like to everyone else.
    • There's also something kind of cute about how Alucard blasts Schrödinger's head off the second he starts hitting on Seras.
  • Penwood's Rousing Speech in episode 5 was leading into It Has Been an Honor before getting cut short by Integra's blunt demeanor.
    • Penwood's radio broadcast also counts. The man was spending the last moments of his life telling any survivors in London You Are Not Alone.
    • In that same vein, Integra seems quite moved by his sacrifice and was actually about to comment on his death before being interrupted.
Integra: Walter...Sir Penwood was a—(car runs over someone)SON-OF-A-BITCH!
  • Integra telling Walter to come back to her no matter what before he leaves to fight.
  • Anderson seems to have actually developed some respect for Integra...even if it's in a somewhat creepy way. And after the battle, he claims that he's protecting her because it is his duty as a man of God and virtue, showing that while, yes, he is more bloodthirsty, foul-mouthed, and vicious than he was in original canon, at the end of the day, he is still a devout Christian minister with a steadfast moral code that he refuses to violate.
  • In episode six, during a moment of down time during the assault on Hellsing headquaters, Pip asks Seras to tell him a bit about herself. Considering how Seras usually ends up treated, its nice to see someone who actually takes the time to really talk to her.
  • Despite going about it in a... rather brutal fashion, Pip's grandfather first reaction to his grandson being bullied is to ask why he isn't the coolest kid in school and to have his grandson play a prank on them to prove himself. Double points for Pip not killing his classmates during the prank.
    Seras: Oh my god...
Pip: Ah, relax. It was a flashbang. A little bit of tinnitus never hurt anyone.
  • Seras admitting she likes Pip before leaving. Pip's reaction was both cute and funny.
  • Alucard appearing in Seras' head and offering her advice while expressing disappointment in her falling to Zorin's illusion. He genuinely sounds like he expects Seras to be able to handle this without him.
Alucard: (laughing) You're kidding me, right?! This basic bitch has you believing she's a giant!
  • Father Maxwell's descriptions of the new Pope. How he's a humble, caring, accepting man who cares for the poor, is willing to sit in a wooden chair instead of the golden one, and is perfectly okay with gay people existing. Granted, Maxwell describes these virtues as though they were faults, but its pretty clear that Maxwell doesn't have the nicest of intentions.
  • As much of a Tear Jerker as Pip's death is, his Last Kiss with Seras is a surprisingly sweet moment. Even a couple of the Flying Geese can't help but agree.
Pip: Next time, maybe I'll get past first base... Heh, ha ha! *hacking cough* Ahh, fat chance. You're far too fine a wine... for a lout like me...
  • Alucard's speech to Seras during her Heroic BSoD after Pip dies. While he starts off acting like he normally does, by the end he starts encouraging her without a hint of humor.
Seras: I'm saying I failed you! I failed everyone!
Alucard: The only way you fail is by giving up.
Seras: I give up, because I'm not strong enough!
Alucard: Listen to me, Draculina! You are so much stronger than you let yourself be.
    Seras: How do you know?!
Alucard: Because behind those eyes, I saw something I lost long ago. The will to live. Now, stop running from who you are. Confront it. Embrace it. And go for its fucking throat. Like a REAL FUCKING VAMPIRE!
  • In Episode 8:
    • Dracula's entire interaction with Seras. He warmly pats her on the head, praises how much she's grown; hell, he even uses her real name! The Squee she lets out is adorable.
Dracula: Ah, good! It varms this long dead heart of mine to see you so grown up... Seras Victoria.
      (Seras squees adorably)
      Integra: N'awww, this is nice~.
    • Really the fact that for the One Scene Dracula exists he has nothing but respect for everyone. Even the man who's trying to kill them as they speak.
  • Heinkel and the Iscariots coming to Anderson's rescue.
Anderson: "Heinkel! I gave you express bloody orders to-
Heinkel: (cutting him off) "We don't have to follow orders when our leader's acting like a daft cunt!
Anderson: "That is the only time you get to call me any kind of cunt."
    • Given Heinkel's earlier concern, this gives the impression she'd been following him just to pull a rescue of this nature.
    • Before this, Father Anderson bids farewell to Father Maxwell, expressing regret not over what he'd done, but that he'd had to do it to begin with.
Anderson: You were a good boy, Maxwell. Shame you were such a shit man.
    • Surprisingly, Anderson forgives Alucard for everything he'd said and done before using a holy relic to power himself up enough to try and send him to the afterlife.
    • Alucard's disbelief and anger at Anderson for turning himself into a monster remains in this instance...and hasn't diminished in the slightest.
      • This leads to Alucard having a conversation with God after Anderson kills him - and God is very patient and understanding given the atrocities that Alucard had committed in life. Alucard then reads God the riot act for the atrocities He allows to happen on Earth, eventually bringing Satan himself into the loop - and he's extremely cordial, and even asks that God loosen the requirements to get into Heaven, as Hell is getting a bit too full.
      • And hell even taking THAT into account God is still very patient, never really raises His voice at Alucard, helps his trapped souls find peace, and when He leaves it isn't Him being a bratty child who's angered that someone won't listen, but more of a frustrated parent realizing there's nothing more to say.
    • Anderson's death scene. He and Alucard have one last chat about how similar they are, and how they truly respect one another, even going so far as to consider each other friends. It's enough to classify as Tear Jerker as well...until Young!Walter shows up, kills Anderson as he's about to give his last words, and then proceeds to openly insult him to Alucard's face.
Anderson: Alucard? I hate you... But I understand you. You seek out your own justice to right the countless wrongs you have committed, to find forgiveness and salvation. But when you find it... Will you accept it?
    • The ending credits for Episode 8 are a rap tribute devoted entirely to Anderson, sung by the entire cast including himself, Alucard, Seras, Pip, The Major, Integra, Maxwell, and Heinkel. Not only does it give him a backstory, its done entirely in the style of Hamilton!
  • In Episode 9:
    • During the flashback, when Integra's father tells her in the dungeon "There is one man you can count on.", Integra remarks that Walter doesn't live in the dungeon, he lives under the stairs. While this is played for humour, it also shows that Integra trusts Walter implicitly, which is sweet...until you get back to the present day scene.
    • Alucard doesn't immediately assume Walter has betrayed them when he shows up as a vampire. He even gives him the chance to explain himself when the others reactions are much more knee-jerk. Granted, the others turned out to be right but points for Alucard giving him a chance to explain himself.
    • There's also the fact that, when it's revealed Walter's become a vampire, Alucard somewhat shrugs it off by basically saying "If you wanted to become one you could've just asked". It's somewhat heartwarming that Alucard was willing to make him a Vampire if he just asked, compared to the circumstances he sired Seras.
    • Doubles as a Tear Jerker Heinkel is quite upset after seeing Yumi get diced up by Walter's razor wire especially when she reveals she and Yumi are together romantically.
    • Alucard sets it straight to Seras that his, hers, and Integra's dynamic is respectively that of a father, daughter, and mother, and pretty much refers to himself as her "daddy".
    • Immediately after that, the exchange between Seras and Walter:
Seras: (sternly) And to you, Walter C. Dornez... (softly) thank you for the cannon.
Walter: (smiles genuinely at her) And thank you for your service, Seras Victoria...
    • Pip is now part of Seras after she drank his blood in episode 7.
Pip: Ça fait longtemps, Ma Chere!note
  • At the beginning of the finale, Alucard shows he considers Alexander Anderson a Worthy Opponent by pretty much implying him as being in the same league as two separate military forces (The Major's Nazi soldiers and Maxwell's forces).
  • Unlike what happened in canon, Alucard didn't escape limbo by killing the souls he assimilated, but by helping them solve their issues and move on. He ends up having to do the same with his own soul.
    • The delight in his voice when admitting that he got pretty good at playing therapist.
  • The reunion between Alucard and Integra at the end, complete with Meaningful Echoes to their first meeting.
Integra: Well then, my Count, come and get you some sip.
Alucard: Keep your arm steady... my Countess.
  • There's something truly profound in seeing, after so much hardship, setbacks, and many long years of dedication, that the cast members are all credited in their own names. This includes Seras's VA credited properly with his male name, with his pre-transition name listed in the Special Thanks section.
  • The very last scene the series? A lingering shot of Alucard's soul, with a serene piano piece playing. The likely conclusion? For all his snark, the vampire lord is — finally — at peace.
