• Why exactly did the UAC need so much security on Mars? They have civilian security guards and Private Military Contractors. Are they expecting an attack? Obviously not by demons from Hell, but by other humans. Are there incidents of piracy and marauding on Mars?
  • Considering the sheer amount of secrecy that Betruger put down on his personal project and the complaints filed to the main office, the UAC might have boosted up security in case for a swift arrest of the doctor alongside with everyone siding with him. Too bad he got back-up of his own that they were not ready for...
  • Reading the PDAs you find out that the UAC had been sending explorations in Hell for quite a while, some of which brought back captured demons as "specimens" to study. It's possible they had planned for a demonic invasion, or at least some of the demons escaping containment, but the sheer scale of the invasion completely overwhelmed them.
• Just where on Mars did the demons get all those fancy cybernetic augmentations like Pinky's hind legs, Revenant's rocket launchers or Cyberdemon's Arm Cannon? There were no hints of any cyber technology in Hell itself.
  • There's a few hints that Betruger was having them augmented elsewhere in facility. Though there could easily be a few factories in Hell, we don't get to see much of the place.
