  • The 7Zee Rewards Program sends hilarious emails replete with jokes and Lampshade Hanging.
    • The first mail remarks that some people might think it's pointless to decorate your home, since Slime Ranchers rarely see each other. Those people are, of course, just jealous they don't have new chroma packs.
    • When the player reaches the level to get Chroma packs, the company installs a Chroma machine without you looking.
    • When gaining the Slime Toy shop, the company says the robot installing it will be finished before you finish reading the letter. They then insert ellipses in the letter so that it'll slow the player enough so that it will, in fact, be complete.
      • This is even funnier if you just buy the requisite level and then immediately exit your house, without reading the letter. The Slime Toy shop will still be there, making the ellipses unnecessary.
    • When reaching the maximum level, they donate to a charity in your name. A charity to raise awareness that otters exist.
    • Not a rewards letter but still from 7Zee: If you bought the Secret Style DLC, the letter you get explains that the transport exploded and that's why the Treasure Pods containing the Styles are scattered around the Far, Far Range. The Stinger reveals that the explosion was because someone had the bright idea to store Fire Plorts and Boom Plorts right next to each other in the cargo hold.
  • The Patch notes are constantly a good source of laughs as well, as a joke or four are always slipped in amongst the usual "fixed bug where X happened" entries.
    • "Minor improvements to various shaders. That’s right, MINOR improvements."
    • "Rotten kookadobas are now more obviously rotten. But either way, they stink."
    • "A small vac cyclone-like swirl will now appear in the top right of the screen when an autosave is triggered. Quickly pressing down and start when you see it WILL NOT warp you to the lair of smoke slimes."
    • "Fixed bug where some geometry would allow the player to get too close and see inside the walls. If any player claims they saw enslaved gnomes inside these walls building our levels, they are LYING."
    • "Fixed an issue where scareslimes sometimes weren’t scary enough. Scareslimes are back to being 2 spooky 4 slimes."
    • "Drones will only deliver food to incinerators until the ash trough is full. If you’re looking to burn two thousand carrots because you really hate carrots, you’re going to have to do that manually. But come on, they’re just carrots."
    • "Fixed ferals sometimes cooling off after jumping into water while chasing you. This involved delicately balancing their ‘Hangry’ parameter. Game development is fun."
    • "Optimized the experience when you return to an area of the world you haven’t visited in awhile. Feels more like “Welcome back!” and less like “Why did you leave?!”"
    • "Fixed bug where items washed up in docks sometimes stood up unnaturally straight. We fixed this because it was really creepy."
    • "Fixed bug where sometimes gardens would produce slightly less food than intended. To claim any carrots you may have lost, please send a postcard to 'Where's My Carrots?' c/o Monomi Park in Walla Walla Washington, or visit your local grocer."
    • "Improved visual effects for crate breaking. Fun fact: this has been on our to-do list for like, 100 years."
    • "Fixed a typo in Mochi’s dialogue. Mochi wanted us to make it clear that we made a mistake, not her."
    • "Fixed bug where some largos in The Wilds near the waterfall could end up hovering in the air. Fun fact: it’s because they thought they were still in water and were ‘swimming.’ See, you can do anything you put your mind to!"
    • "The Wilds is so far off the grid that your map will not work. This may seem like a contrivance to make things more difficult but like, no, it’s totally because of LORE."
    • "Phase lemon trees planted in gardens will now act like normal fruit trees and not require phasing the lemons into reality. We altered the way space and time worked in order to make this QOL change. No big deal."
  • The Slimepedia entry for Mochi's Manor goes on about how amazing it and its owner are, only to be capped off with "[ERROR: THIS SLIMEPEDIA ENTRY HAS BEEN ALTERED BY AN EXTERNAL SOURCE]", heavily implying that Mochi somehow hacked it.
  • The "Little Big Storage" update was advertised with this image, which showed poor Beatrix buried under a mountain of different items—Food, Plorts, Slimes, Resources, everything! Considering this update seemed to cater to collectorsnote , it makes too much sense. The kicker is that Beatrix is shown with the exact same ".0." expression the slimes occasionally sport(such as when they're being vacuumed up).
  • Many Slimepedia entries have comical remarks.
    • The quote for the Boom Slime is simply, "Careful, these slimes have been known to expl-"
    • The "Rancher Risks" section of the Party Gordo entry reads:
Ranchers who hang out near the Party Gordo might find themselves dancing the night away and never getting any work done. Be. Careful.
    • The "Slimeology" part of the Hunter Slime entry reads:
A hunter slime's slimological makeup allows for a natural cloaking ability that renders it almost completely invisible. Their only tell is in their giant, almond eyes, which can often be seen hovering in the dark. This effect is often described by unsuspecting ranchers as "aaaahhhhHHHH!"
  • After completing the first milestone in Victor's sidequest, he asks someone else to explain the first reward. That someone else is BoB, who doesn't talk any more than he usually does. When Victor returns, Beatrix apparently asks Victor if he ever interacted with this fellow. Victor says no, he just determined how such interactions would go via simulations.
  • The Slimepedia entry for Manifold Cubes includes this gem.
Mochi once offered Viktor a fortune in newbucks for the formula for creating manifold cubes, and he politely declined. Following this, Viktor notes several attempts to hack his data server. When Viktor asked Mochi to comment on the incident, she politely declines.
  • Many of Casey's emails are recounting silly stories from when they were together.
    • The coffee shop date where the only way to stay in the cafe was to order a lot of coffee.
    • The "breaks-down-only-half-the-time" tour van. It apparently still runs to this day.
Casey: P.S. That's a lie. It caught fire while we were riding it. It died like a viking.
