The Comic

  • In issue 4, Ooga and Nooby are attacked by their zombified friends. The zombies try to eat Nooby's brain, but it turns out he doesn't have one. They give confused looks to each other before going after Ooga.
  • In issue 8, Sun reveals that she's been spying on the boys for days. Cut to a flashback where the boys are going about their business and they don't notice the stack of coconuts with eyes, feet, and blonde hair sticking out of it.
  • In issue 14, Ooga tells the girls (and Klak) to stay put on the beach while the boys search in the jungle for stuff to fix their raft. Kinsee notes how sexist that is and Booga asks what that word means. Nobody has a clue. note
  • In issue 21, Ooga asks Nooby where he's been. Nooby tells him about the adventure he had in the previous issue, but because of how he speaks, Ooga just stands there totally confused.
  • In issue 23, Ooga's group has been trekking across the desert for so long, they run out of provisions. Starving, Booga has an idea.
Booga: I wonder... if we die and came back, would we still be hungry?
(Without missing a beat, Kinsee pushes him off a cliff and he regenerates right back.)
    Kinsee: Well?
    Booga: Yup. Still hungry.

The Video Games

  • Although one of the more violent (but still G-Rated) sacrifices, most people will get a kick out of feeding a Pygmy a swordfish.
  • The Pocket God Update Song is pretty funny, making light of fans who wished for updates every day or week and portraying them as wanting stuff like werewolves and aliens. The second verse is from the POV of the developers, who would clone themselves to release updates faster but don't because there would be a "cloning disaster".
  • Charlie, and all his complete insanity.
Charlie: Only normal people need sleep.
Charlie: I'm a total freakin' rock star from mars!
Charlie: I'm the great torpedo of truth!
Charlie: I'm a high priest Vatican assassin warlock!
