    General
  • The server's ban on hard lore has led to all sorts of shenanigans, especially since many cast members are veteran roleplayers who cannot help but try to sneak in some storytelling elements, often via copious amounts of Suspiciously Specific Denial.
    • The most egregious one of all is Owen, being the only person on the server to show up in a custom skin that isn't wearing an outfit that would fit in with the real world; the sheer dissonance of everyone else walking around in jeans and T-shirts or hoodies and this one guy who is dressed like a caveman and lives in a hollowed-out dinosaur skull in the jungle like a feral gremlin is laughable in of itself.
    • Several people jokingly threaten to kill Pix for even mentioning the word "lore" during the first server event's announcement.
    • There's apparently an automatic set-up for Sausage to be temporarily banned from the server for referencing lore, even when it wasn't him who brought it up. This has happened at least five times.
  • The SMP has a datapack where if one places a mob head on a note-block, it plays that mob's animal noise (a mechanic also present in Vanilla, but only for the 6 Vanilla mob heads). It doesn't take long for players to take a page from Scar's book on Hermitcraft Season 10 to put a salmon head on it to create the flopping sounds of a dying fish… to the detriment of everyone's mental health.
    • Sausage, outright admitting he was inspired by Scar to do so, insists that anyone who makes a trade with him has to "slap the salmon", and later hits the note block for every time someone subscribes to his Twitch channel. Often from the front angle.
    • At the end of his 2nd episode, fWhip decides to bring back the old cod vs. salmon rivalry to make a noisemaker machine under Jimmy's tower base to play flopping salmon noises.
  • Owen doing multiple dramatic reveals at the end of several episodes that he actually filmed the episode's events while live on Twitch.
  • Pix's giant dig site being turned into a straight-up cult of "the Hole".

    The Start of the SMP
  • Owen kicks off his 1st episode with this description of the SMP:
Owen: Hardcore Minecraft: you live, you die, that's it. That was until a madman came along and thought, "What if we added capitalism into Hardcore?"
  • Eloise's series introduction as a whole:
    • Looking like an increasingly exasperated talk show host, Eloise starts with:
Eloise: Welcome to Minecraft SOS, a hardcore server with a twist– (holds out one hand, only to show a candy twist)
(Record-scratching sound effect; cut to green screen)
      Eloise: No, not that–
(Resume to introduction with cheerful background music)
Eloise: A twist! (holds out one hand again, only to show a twister)
(Record-scratching sound effect; cut to green screen again)
Eloise: No– (facepalm) Oh my god, never mind.
    • She then tries to advertise the Fate Coins as "delicious chocolate coins".
Voiceover: Please note, coins are not made of chocolate; please do not eat the coins. Fate Incorporated not responsible for any damages caused if coins are eaten.
    • Upon recapping how she doesn't want to die first again in the previous year's Thirty Day SMP, Eloise introduces Jimmy as the one who set up the world, with the addendum of "code-name 'Canary'".
  • fWhip introducing the server as "definitely not fWhip SMP".
  • In their 1st episodes, Oli gives Eloise a free sample of pink cherry petals at spawn, which she promises to keep "where the Sun don't shine" so that no one can see (as in her inventory), only to be conveniently interrupted.
Sausage: WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT? WHO– WHAT DID I WALK INTO?!
  • Sausage and Eloise collectively terrorizing Owen, normally a family-friendly creator, by making as many innuendoes in front of him as they can get away with.
  • While Scott is trying to get some extra starter resources from Owen, the latter accidentally throws down a cornflower… and immediately backtracks to pick it up, clearly not wanting a repeat of 3rd Life.
  • In his 1st episode, one of the items Scott initially uses to decorate his animal pens is trapdoors, thinking they are tall enough to prevent the animals from escaping… only for the sheep and chicken to climb over them the moment he looks away.
Scott: Wait a minute… I've made a horrible, horrible mistake. […] Step 7, go around and replace every single trapdoor you have had with a slab; it will make it look considerably less cute, but 100% more functional.
  • Lizzie and Scott then meet up for a "pant trade" at Spawn.
    • When Lizzie describes her Ancient City escapades as "sort of a pant-y raiding–", she's interrupted by Owen shooting an arrow in the two's direction. Although he's only doing so to get Scott's attention, the timing gives the impression that he, as a family-friendly creator, is displeased at the direction that the conversation is going.
    • Lizzie then tries to sell Scott a pair of "Vanishing pants", as Owen walks up behind her…
Lizzie: (in the middle of a sales pitch) And also, the Vanishing pants sound so much cooler.
      Owen: (visibly backing away)
    • As Owen declares he's only ever wearing leather for the SMP and declines Lizzie's offer of iron armour, Scott quips that he's looting Owen's base when he dies.
  • Later in his 1st episode, realizing he doesn't have the emeralds to trade for custom decorative player heads, Scott decides to murder the wandering trader for their leads, then blithely deny any involvement in the villager "disappearing and leaving things behind".
(as greyed-out footage of the murder plays) nothing is happening here
  • Sausage decides to bequeath Shelby his house in the event of his death on the server. Shelby's reaction is to say, "Sweet," and pull out a sword behind Sausage's back.note
  • Even with Sausage claiming to build something modest by his standards, it's clear that by virtue of him being a building fiend, everyone is appalled by the size of his starter base at the beginning of the series.
Katherine: He has this and I have a circle…
  • Everything about the Blossom Bandits' raid on Oli's cherry monopoly, from them making off with every sapling they can get their hands on, trying to sweet-talk Oli into giving them nicer deals, Joey using Exact Words to counter one of Oli's scams, the four deciding to use pink petals as their Calling Card to try to frame Oli for future crimes, and Oli complaining that they broke one of his levers and accidentally left his base with it.
  • In fWhip's 2nd episode, he tries to direct Scott to his zombie spawner XP farm with the absurdly complicated way he went to get to it. Scott then points out the very obvious flaw in the plan.
Scott: You lost me when I had to go straight.
fWhip: Yeah, I know, it– it's a challenge, but– yeah.

Event 1: The Community Bundle Challenge
  • Everyone competing to see who has the best ping to click and sleep in a bed the fastest before the event starts.
  • Eloise's Episode 2 introduction recaps the requirements for the Community Bundle Challenge.
Eloise: As I was saying, we must gather resources to fill these chests up, including food (shows a loaf of bread), wood (shows an oak log), ores (shows a block of coal ore), food (shows a steak), and wood (shows Sausage's face).
  • Sausage immediately volunteers to handle the crops, due to having planted 8,962 seeds by that point. It's equally comical as it is impressive.
  • Katherine volunteers to help Sausage gather up his crops with this quip:
Katherine: I would like to become a human lawnmower; let's go.
  • As Jimmy and Oli try to come up with words rhyming with 'log', Scott and Eloise are left to stare at them and each other in the background.
Scott: I don't know, but I'm getting, like, sensory overload.
  • In their 2nd episodes, Pix catches Joey up on the ongoings of the server and the event:
Pix: Basically, filling up those chests with items until the light turns on. Once the light turns on, that means that we're good and that one's filled and we can move on to the next one.
Joey: Wait, we're all working together?
Pix: Yeah, it's like a cooperative thing — so basically, we get to split the resources once all of the bundles are completed, basically, but at that point, anyone who's participated gets a Fate Coin and gets a share of everything we put in.
Joey: This is my favourite! I love group projects because I get to do nothing and everybody else can do all the hard work!
  • Later in Joey's 2nd episode, he finds a lit-up strip-mine near where he plans to build his base.
Joey: Wait, someone's been digging in my area! Oh, wait, I did this.
  • In the last quarter of Owen's 2nd episode (in the March 1st VOD), he sneaks into Eloise's house to "borrow" her pottery sherds to get himself a Fate Coin. On his way in, he overhears her commenting on content creation strategies, resulting in some hilarious Dramatic Irony as he included this in his episode.
Eloise: The reason streams are a fun, funky little time is because pretty much none of what is on the streams will be in the episodes, and none of what is in the episodes will be on the streams–
    Owen: (almost does a spit-take)
Eloise: –Um, so, you get the most fresh content if you turn up to both!
  • The fact that Sausage's Fortune pickaxe is named "Just a Regular Pickaxe without LORE! Trust ME!".
  • Oli's Hog is soon to bring up innuendo.
  • Mog tries to complete a favour for everyone else on the server to secure himself a future chance at revival.
    • Joel's request? Flirt with Sausage for 30 seconds.
    • Ironically enough, Mog completely misses the chance to get himself an extra Fate Coin through the community event because of completing said favours.
Mog: Look, I– My family was visiting!
Scott: You managed to go and give all of us something we specifically wanted but you couldn't put a stack of something in there?!
      (fWhip and Oli agree)
Mog: I'M SORRY I WAS BUSY HELPING EVERYBODY!
  • On March 5th (chronicled in his 2nd episode), after Oli dies and seeks out Sausage for help, Sausage only agrees if Oli "go[es] along with his… strange desires".
    • Since Oli's possessing a pig at the time, Sausage decides to put a saddle on the pig and ride the pig as Oli directs him to his death spot, which sounds like the set-up for a horrible Innocent Innuendo.
    • Sausage then feeds pig-Oli a carrot, producing the in-game love hearts for breeding mobs. It only gets worse from here.
Oli: (narrating) Obviously, I wasn't going to breed on command; I've still got a shred of dignity–
(Beat; Gilligan Cut back to the scene as Sexophone music plays)
(Sausage breeds the pig Oli is possessing with another nearby pig to produce a piglet)
Oli: Oh, I didn't think I'd be a father on this server as well, that's crazy.
Sausage: I don't think fWhip thought this through.
  • As they're making the final food deposit for the community bundle, Oli claims to Sausage that British cinemas serve corn on the cob and Joel adds that they have baked beans in a cup. Scott's 5th episode zooms in on him looking into the camera like he's on The Office and clarifying that these are Blatant Lies.
  • Jimmy's 4th episode features a clip from his livestream where several server-members start ragging on him for his tier list for who he'd be most willing to give his Fate Coins to, bribing him with items (from a Power I bow to Mog's 46 iron blocks) to move their placements, or even outright editing the signs.

    Event 2: Operation Spawn Expansion
  • Everyone fighting over the books and lecterns distributed to record who approves of their Spawn builds, with Joel going as far as to burn copies of the blank books so others can't have them.
  • fWhip and Pix's joint business venture in selling beacons and wither-killing kits gets off to a slightly wobbly start.
    • In the midst of building the shop, fWhip tries to contact Pix to help with the project, only to realize it's already 1 AM for the latter and he's probably asleep in real life.
    • Pix suggesting to write "Live, Laugh, Love" on a few hanging signs like a cringey motivational poster, to fully drive home the cluttered, New-Age Retro Hippie style of the shop.
  • Mog calls fWhip over to test the wooden bridge between his base and Katherine's, which he claims to be built to be "as sturdy as possible". It's a hodgepodge mix of fences and gates, pressure plates, trapdoors, and slabs, meaning the tiniest shove or misstep can cause someone to plummet into the valley or river below. For bonus points, fWhip makes it across the valley, but falls off the bridge right at the end, a bit down the slope of the hill where Mog's base is located on.
  • Eloise ends up dying after an unfortunate run-in with several Nether mobs, and has long prepared a Hide and Seek event in case this happens, just to mess with her friends.
    • Mog walks past chicken-El at least a couple of times before actually finding her.
    • While Eloise is possessing a bee and chatting with Oli and Mog, Oli inexplicably breeds the bee she's possessing with another nearby bee.
  • Just after Owen finishes his "gladiator ring", he seeks out Joel to fight out their differences over what the superior ice-cream flavour is. Thing is, while he is explaining how the fighting pit works, Joel hears that all he has to do is to shove Owen into the ditch just behind him to win the debate, and proceeds to do just that.
  • While Jimmy is working on Pix's dig on March 19th, albeit semi-voluntarily this time, Sausage shows up to tease him and is reminded that Jimmy does owe him a favour because he also revived him once. The favour? At Eloise's suggestion, dancing for 30 minutes in Sausage's tavern. In a cat maid outfit. In front of the whole server, who are all gathering there for the Ender dragon fight.
    • Two days later, when the day the favour is cashed in, Jimmy seems to have interpreted his job as "serving". Sausage corrects him in that he's doing so under the slang definition.
    • Both Jimmy and Sausage yelling at Mog for hanging around at the tavern before it's set to show-time.
    • Jimmy trying to explain the situation:
Jimmy: This is what happens when you die and you owe someone! This is– This is the things you have to do…
    • Jimmy yelling for everyone to look away. No one complies.
Scott: I want to, but I can't — it's like watching a car crash in slow motion.
Owen's episode adds a disclaimer that his character "legitimately had no words to say during this bit".
    • Jimmy's episode for the incident is fittingly titled "LET ME EXPLAIN.."
SolidarityGaming: (via YouTube comment) the things i do to stay in the series..
  • The Ender dragon fight and its build-up has its fair share of goofs:
    • fWhip commenting that he's set up the server to automatically ban Sausage if there's even a mention of lore. Cue Scott asking if anyone has heard of Chromia and Sausage being instantly kicked.
    • fWhip and Mog originally plan to go in first for a perimeter check before having everyone else go through the End portal… then someone shoves Jimmy in first.
    • Jimmy spending almost the entire battle on the sidelines, desperately trying to fight off about eight endermen in a puddle of water… wearing minimal diamond armour and still in the French Maid Outfit from earlier.
  • Oli's 2nd episode, like most of his videos, is like an acid trip.
    • The episode opens with him performing a "news" segment, with the graphics reading, "Breaking news: YouTuber uploads Episode 2, crowds go wild!!!"
    • Oli recounts his epic water-bucket clutch from build height to bedrock from shortly after the end of the first community event, and clarifies that this sort of luck is incredibly rare for him.
Oli: I wouldn't get used to it. This kind of good fortune is a very rare occurrence. Like a blue moon. Or a Mending book on Hermitcraft.
(cut to Oli fishing up an enchanted book)
Oli: Ooh, book. (reading its enchantments) Sweeping Edge, Bane of Arthropods– Mending?!
(fWhip and Sausage react in surprise)
Oli: (narrating) Maybe not so rare…
      (cut back to the scene)
      Oli: Hi, Grian
      Subtitles: (second fish btw)
  • Scott refusing to sign off on Oli's Hog statue, complete with live dangling pig, because "it makes [him] upset".
  • At the start of Pix's 6th episode, he makes an Enderman farm for XP and defeats the Ender dragon after respawning it, and comments that he's walking away with "a nice amount of levels". Guess how many XP levels he has at the time.
  • At Lizzie's auction, Owen makes a bid of 15 stacks of bone blocks for a cursed item, far out-bidding everyone else. In his 4th episode, Owen then adds later commentary that he doesn't even have 15 stacks of bone blocks and yet has to pay up by the end of the day, and spends the rest of the day in the Nether mining fossils to pay off the debt.

    Event 3: The Buddy/Task Challenges
  • Sausage praying that his assigned buddy isn't Jimmy.
  • Lizzie manages to die again from fall damage, this time in Pix's dig due to Elytra failure.
    • In her 4th episode, the clip following this cuts to Lizzie scrambling back to her death site possessing a sniffer.
Lizzie: EMERGENCY! EMERGENCY! IT'S HAPPENED AGAIN!
    • Since Pix gave her the Elytra in the first place and was tasked with keeping her safe, his 6th episode, chroncling this, is titled "I Had One Job…"
    • Pix's episode also reveals exactly how she died: she landed on a singular floating deepslate block, which she couldn't even see from her perspective. The fact that it happened all by freak accident is as comical as it is exasperating.
  • From Pix's April 2nd livestream:
    • During a thunderstorm (and while Sausage is collecting a charged creeper for his task challenge), Apollo decides team up with Zeus to knock Pix out with a red dodgeball for the goofs and giggles.
Pix: I'm mostly worried about, like… breaking a shulker box and the lightning striking it and destroying it or something.
(Pix breaks the shulker box and is struck by lightning, destroying his shulker box; awkward silence)
Pix: Literally happened. It literally… just happened. And that was not like, Sausage using a trident on me or something stupid; it literally just happened. I hate this game. (laughs)
    • According to Jimmy, Pix's giant dig site has resulted in the development of a "Hole Cult", complete with hashtag (and shrine).
Pixlriffs: there's a hashtag and everything?
      SolidarityGaming: dude
SolidarityGaming: you've created something bigger than you know
Pixlriffs: was not expecting my hole to be an influencer
  • Sausage's 10th episode:
    • The episode starts with him getting more XP to repair his new but heavily damaged trident… and just so happening to reach 69 levels.
    • Later in the episode, out of the many tools with fantasy-esque names to them, one of his pickaxes is instead revealed to be named, "Stop Reading My Tool Names – NO LORE HERE!"
    • From Sausage's Nether excursion, he manages to obtain enough netherite to upgrade all of his armour, with one ingot to spare. He upgrades his diamond hoe. Lizzie then uses the in-game chat to question all his life decisions for him.
      LDShadowLady: why
    • In response to Sausage's request for Official Fan-Submitted Content in the form of titles in the LoreBrary (Lore Library), many YouTube comments can be seen providing dramatic references to past and present plotlines, but one stands out:
moonsiestar: you should name one of the books "sausage's nature wives fanfiction" 😭
TheMythicalSausage: hahah!! YUP! This is going in for sure now!
  • Scott and Mog have to tackle ocean monuments to fulfill their task requirements, dragging fWhip and Eloise along for being their assigned buddies, which naturally leads to shenanigans.
    • Before the start of the excursion, Scott suggests to go completely invisible by removing all armour at the temple, which is immediately shot down by everyone else. fWhip then attempts to compromise with only wearing one armour piece. Scott suggests his Elytra wings and is shot down again.
    • Scott flying off when fWhip suggests to travel over land and by boat for everyone's safety. No one listens to fWhip on this one.
    • After finding the second elder guardian, Eloise calls for the tactic of dodging and weaving.
Mog: I-I don't know how to weave; I only know how to knit.
  • Throughout fWhip's 6th episode, he decides to wrangle ravagers to make a ranch zoo out of them.
    • The fact that fWhip is name-tagging the ravagers "MooMoo" and referring to them as such.
    • When fWhip later invites Joel (his assigned "guardian" buddy) and Jimmy (who owes him a revival favour) to help him handle the last of the ravagers, he and Joel comment on how Jimmy going through the transportation Nether portal to get to the ravager-side first means he's more likely to die first, and both of them (fWhip and Joel) won't lose a coin. Jimmy's response?
      Jimmy: L + Fortnite dance! L + Fortnite dance!
  • At the start of Sausage's 11th episode, he shows off the titles he has added to the Lore-Brary, including "The Fates in Disguise", "Ten Ways to Survive an SMP by Solidarity", "The Legend of The Watchers", "Into the Bubbleverse", "The Wizardress and the King", "How the Demon Destroyed us all! A Xornoth Story"… and then there's "B O A T B O Y S: Lost At Sea" by Sausage himself.
Sausage: Oh, no! Sorry! Don't look at that one! That one's private.
  • After trying and failing to kill the warden to obtain its head for his task challenge, Joel is persuaded by Lizzie to possess a dolphin and perform tricks for her in her back garden to earn his life back. Unfortunately, dragging the dolphin from the ocean to a pond in the middle of nowhere has its price, and when Lizzie instructs dolphin-Joel to walk on land in front of Sausage, the dolphin he's possessing just up and dies on the spot.

Event 4: King of the Totem Challenge
  • Before the event starts, Lizzie accidentally triggers another raid at Sausage's base, swamping the place with illagers for most of the livestream.
  • Barely minutes after the announcement of the challenge, Joey steals the Totem from Spawn due to a tactical oversight. This kicks off what can only be described to be something out of a Looney Tunes cartoon.
    • In retaliation, Eloise, Scott, and Sausage set fire to Joey's roof to threaten him into returning. There would have been no property damage as Fire Spread is off on the server… then fWhip shows up, quickly gets bored of waiting, and almost immediately starts blowing up Joey's front lawn.
    • Amidst the chaos, Lizzie decides to conspire with Joey to obtain the Caves and Cliffs advancement… only for Joey to take the plunge at Pix's dig without equipping the Totem (and no Soft Water at the bottom), killing him on impact.
    • Everyone else then gathers to laugh at Joey and scavage enough Fate Coins to revive him… only for Joey to fail to equip the Totem upon his return to life, causing the mob of people trying to kill him again to accidentally actually kill him all over again.
    • Scott and Sausage decide to raid Joey's house for his Fate Coins to revive him, not wanting to spend any more tokens on this mess. Sausage then flies off to steal Lizzie's Fate Coins to make up for the deficit, blaming her for the predicament.
  • After fWhip returns the Totem to its designated chest at Spawn, everyone starts piling obsidian and other blocks on the chest to stop others from accessing it, claiming that they're playing Bedwars. It takes approximately five seconds for everything to dissolve into chaos again.
    • Joel and Oli start off by trying to make a Nether portal to bypass all the Spawn protections, while Mog tries tunneling in like a mole.
    • Mog then accidentally breaks the chest containing the Totem, somehow causing it to fall into Scott's hands. Cue the "Yakety Sax" backing track.
    • Eventually, Oli manages to gets his hands on the Totem and quickly hides it while he's at Spawn. Predictably, fWhip finds it in Oli's Hog statue at Spawn.
  • Later, fWhip tries to get a ravager from Sausage's raid-overrun base to protect the Totem at Spawn and kills the final illagers in one round of the raid. The next wave of illagers somehow all spawn in Sausage's bamboo patch.
  • On the second day of the event, Scott overhears Oli and Eloise hanging out in the graveyard. When he's found out, the two try to scare Scott away with their "straightness" by "making out" in the block game. What makes it even funnier is that it doesn't even work.
Scott: They underestimate how much I actually can tolerate straight people kissing. I've been doing it my whole life!
  • On the last day, Scott and Eloise decide that since no one was online to help protect the Totem the previous day, they'd make a secret deal with Oli (deemed a Worthy Opponent for being online) to join the "Taking the Totem for Themselves" alliance and split the resultant Fate Coins between them. When Mog logs on one hour before the event, they attempt to pretend that they're still enemies. Key word being 'attempt'.
OrionSound: I ONLY WANT COIN FOR ME
(Oli tries to kill Scott to get the Totem, which ejects itself into the sea nearby)
    Mogswamp: who has coin rn
    OrionSound: I HAVE DEFEATED SCOTT
    OrionSound: AND WON THE TOTEM
(Oli fishes the Totem out of the sea)
    OrionSound: HAHAHAHA
Smajor1995: im gonna get it back
    OrionSound: ALL FOR ME
    Smajor1995: you better run
    Mogswamp: hmmm
    OrionSound: oh im running
    OrionSound: running fast
Mogswamp: this seems like a planned skit
    OrionSound: nope
    OrionSound: not us
    soupforeloise: ITS JUST OLI
OrionSound: just a crazy evil guy
    soupforeloise: GET HIM
    OrionSound: thats me
  • This exchange:
    LDShadowLady: well wel wellt
    LDShadowLady: he boy who died
    LDShadowLady: come to live
Smajor1995: there are 5 boys online, can you be more specific?
  • After the event, Sausage announces that he's going to sell in-universe Real-Person Fic in a bookshop, including a There Is Only One Bed fic between him and Oli in a jail cell inspired by an interaction from two days prior. Eloise's response is to tell him to go back to jail.
  • Jimmy's payback for getting scammed by Lizzie is to send her the YouTube link to an infamous creepy bank ad, saying she's just been scammed.
  • With Sausage being a Walking Shirtless Scene between working on Pix's dig and even after constructing his cathedral dedicated to the Hole, Jimmy almost murders Sausage for referring to his exposed chest as his "mommy milkers", openly questioning how this man is still considered a PG creator.

    Event 5: The Pet Challenge
  • At the start of Sausage's 14th episode, just before the start of the event, he adds a tome about Pix's dig, allegedly from the Lore-Brary, to his Hole cult cathedral. It is literally 33 pages repeating the word 'Hole' non-stop.
  • In an attempt to make some diamonds, Jimmy starts selling V.I.P. grave spaces at Spawn to record the number of deaths they've had in style.
    • Jimmy dresses up in his mourning skin from Limited Life to do so, but is immediately met with criticism that the suit is pure black without any shading whatsoever. This then leads to jokes that the suit is actually vantablack and that Joel, who made the skin in the first place and was on holiday in Japan at the time, fled the country after making such an "abomination" to colouration.
    • fWhip barely tries to make a bid at all, saying that since the graves are ordered in alphabetical order with his right at the gates, his marker reading "zero deaths" at the front is already enough of a flex. This is immediately followed by several other people saying they could change that.
    • Mog digging up his original grave to get an extra bone to pay off Jimmy.
  • While setting up a convoluted system to get a shulker into the Overworld with Owen, fWhip somehow gets hit with a shulker bullet, causing him to levitate, despite the fact they've just sent the nearest shulker through an End gateway portal.
