  • Episode 137: Moar!
    • Sora wants a quirk, as she's jealous of Pekora. Watame tries to help and has her "pull out tissues in anger".
    • Then the two try a Manzai routine that completely falls flat.
    • Sora tries playing a piano outside a store, only for Officer Fubuki to stop her as she doesn't have a permit to play a "wild piano".
    • Sora decides to BE a piano, and we cut to Marine playing her and noticing the pitch is off. Sora slams the key cover onto her fingers. The final image is Sora with a piano for a head chasing Marine.
  • Episode 138: Free Real Estate: Mel is looking to be more vampire-like, and decides to go property hunting for a suitably dark and moody castle with the help of "executive real-estate master" Suisei. She finds one she likes and goes for a property visit, only for it to turn out to be a trap set by Fubuki to lure in vampires for her to hunt. Cue Mel saying that she isn't a vampire... but rather an umpire, using a pun so bad that it causes Fubuki to completely zone out. And that's where it ends.
  • Episode 139: Chocolicious
    • Choco starts with offering chocolates, and Sora takes one. What these chocolates actually do is transform those who eat them to gain some of Choco's own attributes. Sora undergoes an extended transformation sequence, much to Choco's delight.
    • Subaru comes in, is rightfully suspicious, and declines the chocolate. Mel, who's on par with Choco in the sexiness department, grabs one... but the chocolate gives her Choco's gaming skills — or rather lack thereof. A despondent Choco confirms if that's what she's like on-stream.
    • Pekora arrives and is immeditately force-fed a chocolate. It turns her very horny but the atmosphere gets dissipated when she ends up making a few puns.
  • Episode 140: Lost in Translation runs off a Sustained Misunderstanding where Aqua mistakes Suisei's talk of okayu (rice porridge) for their own Okayu (Nekomata Okayu, whom she's infatuated with).
  • Episode 141: Ruing the Ruining
    • Luna's attempt to tell fortunes involves pulling a deck of cards out of her mouth like a magic trick. Mio imitates it.
    • The end has Mio, Subaru and Luna look at the final fortune, only for Mio to break the fourth wall and ask "Whoever said there would be a punchline?"
  • Episode 143: Who You Gonna Call?
    • The sun is bothering Rushia, so she calls Haachama to "take care of it". The fact they've accepted that Haachama is an Eldritch horror only makes funnier.
    • Rushia ends up eating aluminium foil and turns metal. The other girls (Aki, Luna, Watame, Marine) run after her for the experience points.
    • The ending has the sun return, and it reflects of Rushia's metal body. Utterly burning the other girls and turning them into the "Four Women of the Burnpocalypse".
  • Episode 144: The Time has Come sees AZKi makes her holoGra debut.
    • She arrives by coming out of the TV when Subaru hits it after it freezes, eager for Watame's opinion on how the episode should go on from that point.
    • She immediately fits in to the series' antics by following Watame's suggestion of kicking down the door and demanding everyone's health insurance IDs. Watame cheers, turns on the radio, and they start dancing. After turning it into a Boke and Tsukkomi Routine, they then smugly grin at Subaru.
    • After AZKi performs an interview answering session that culminates in her and Watame smugly smirking at the Duck again, Subaru puts the Sheep in a camel clutch, while AZKi asks Watame if she submits like the former was a wrestling referee.
    • In the end, AZKi reveals that she joins in the fun to promote Hololive Super Expo, with her singing later on March 19. Subaru and Watame retort with "What was all this for, then?!"
  • Episode 145: Yukihana Needy has Nene, Botan, and Polka try to cheer up a despondent Lamy who won't tell them what she's upset about. After a lot of failed attempts, she reveals the reason — she's just annoyed that they didn't notice that her Idiot Hair is angled slightly differently. The rest of gen 5 gets mad enough about this trivial reason that they give her a taste of her own medicine when she needs help with the door she just broke.
  • Episode 146: Tough Love
    • Based on the myth that lions throw their cubs off a cliff to make them tougher, Botan throws Polka off a cliff to make her stronger… in the middle of Polka pointing out that she isn’t Botan’s cub. She gets back up with an elevator, an escalator, before bouncing off an offscreen trampoline.
    • When Botan gets annoyed at her bouncing, she jumps down to talk with Polka directly, only for Polka to return by elevator saying the trampoline broke.
    • After Botan tries to attack her, Polka muzzles her and brings her back to the office, with a bamboo internode on her mouth. Lamy starts treating her like a kitten, much to Botan's annoyance.
    • Polka calls the "Doggo Police", and Officer Korone arrives. Polka asks her what to do as a fellow canine. Botan then voluntarily removes her muzzle and throws it at Polka while yelling how lions are felines.
    • In a chatting stream after this episode was released, Botan admitted she wanted to sing her own take on the opening bit of Circle of Life, but it was vetoed for obvious reasons.
  • Episode 147: Musclebrain Stretches
    • Noel, along with Aki and Kanata, sing about how she's a total "musclebrain". The song degrades into singing "aubrain" which confuses Noel.
    • Noel goes on a quest to find the aubrain, and eventually finds it. It's a gold (au) brain that she wears atop her head.
  • Episode 148: The Office: AZKi arrives and finds the entire office is gone. According to Fubuki, a group of recurring gags (croco-crab, lawnmower, moai, and the kanji for tapioca) formed a band and wanted to go to HoloFes, but they can't get out. Fubuki arrives and the office itself starts speaking, asking Fubuki to take them. Because she refuses to carry a lawnmower, the office starts shaking and manages to break off and head to the festival. AZKi doesn't believe a word of it.
  • Episode 150: Mooching Sushi: While out riding a tricycle, Polka decides she wants to buy sushi using someone else's savings. She then decides to split into two halves, with the "evil half" being just her in kabuki makeup. From there, things get...a bit nuts, even by hologra standards.
  • Episode 159: Choose Your Battles Wisely: Iroha's hologra debut has many comedic moments:
    • It started off as a simple duel with Ayame, but just as the samurai was about to report her victory, the oni kept blocking the samurai's path and tried to keep the victory a secret by closing her mouth with her hand. "See no evil, hear no evil, daresay no evil" indeed.
    • The first person to inquire about who won the duel is Commodore Matthew Perry, who apparently came to Japan solely to find out. Ayame is understandably confused as to what timeline they are in, while Iroha, who knew exactly who it was upon hearing the ship's horn, is simply excited about the arrival of the Black Ships.
    • Then comes Haachama, the Arachnotrainer. Iroha's reaction to Haachama mentioning spiders? Run like hell.
    • Outside, Iroha gets her fair share of opponents too strong for her — Roboco's tech is far too advanced for her swordsmanship, while Noel's too hungry to think straight. Sora comes in to rein them in, but when she learns of Iroha's situation... she retorts, with a smile, "So you're an enemy?" which intimidates Iroha into submission.
  • Episode 160 The Intern-alization: Chloe marks her debut episode, and it's as weird as anything else:
    • Chloe complains about winter, wanting it to be warmer and starts banging on the desk. The desk retaliates, shouting that it was not made for hitting while a yellow and black message strips covers her underwear.
    • She then gets the idea of recruiting Mel and Marine by giving them her mask. Then gives them a wanted poster with a scratch card surface, revealing the target being Marine.
    • And then it gets weirder. Chloe wants to head out to sea (around the Mediterranean) and wonders if it south (actually north), but decides it doesn't matter. Then Marine tells her to apologize. Which the scene changes to Cloe giving a public statement, and Marine is the one to apologize. Which turns out they're watching it on TV.
  • Episode 161: This is Dope! starts with Koyori accidentally freezing herself, and while Mio and Miko think of a way to thaw her, Miko excitedly pulls out a lava bucket.
  • Episode 162: Going for Broke:
    • Lui starts with devising a way to improve holoX's finances and it cuts to the generation's intro... but Subaru cuts in midway telling Lui not to play random crap in the office.
    • holoX's sponsor is apparently "Haachama Exploitation Inc."
    • Then, Lui proceeds to a tangent that turns into a Hurricane of Puns centered around naan bread, and then ropes AkiRose into a moneymaking scheme that uses balan to balance her books. Ina would be proud!
    • The ending sequence, instead of the usual still, has a bunch of Luis doing silly things to the beat of the ending music.
  • Episode 163: Leading by Example:
    • La+ makes Towa play the father in a bizarre parable about not wasting your food...and pays Koyori to make a tree with fruit that looks like fried chicken for it (thus explaining why nearly 30% of HoloX's monthly budget had been spent on fried chicken).
    • La+ then tries to invade Musclebrain Stretches!...only to get absolutely destroyed by Aki and Kanata barely a few seconds in because of how small and scrawny she is.
    • Afterwards, La+ turns to face... the rest of the girls, looking really pissed at what she's tried to do to them, except for Sora, who's smiling sweetly in the background, making her look more terrifying.
    • It turns out that Lui scamming Aki with balan wasn't on La+'s orders. Lui was just being Lui.
    • As Sora prepares to punish La+ for siccing HoloX on the other members, Ayame is visibly trembling from her menacing aura as she offers one of her katanas for her senpai to use.
Sora: (still smiling) Hololive is all about its friendly atmosphere... understand?
    • The final shot has La+ sprawled on the ground, having been savagely beaten by Noodle Implements and also slapped with a 1 million yen bill to replace Ayame's mask.
  • Episode 164: On the Tail: Begins with Suisei and Miko arguing over a broken pair of 2002 sunglasses (which belongs to Miko who left it around), and Miko proceeds to chase after her. And that's only the first half of the episode. The rest, well... Thankfully it was all just a bad dream Suisei had...until she sees the same broken pair of 2002 glasses from the beginning.
  • Episode 170: Typhoons Ruin Trip:
    • The narrator talks about how a typhoon struck, ruining summer for Suisei, Subaru, and Luna. Suisei and Subaru has the most hilariously over the top facial expressions as if the animators from One Piece were hired for the episode.
    • Luna tries to brighten the mood, but Suisei and Subaru's expression as as if they're saying "I'm 100% done with this shit". Suisei for some reason gets caught up in a tornado, and it sends them to another island.
    • After the above, Luna wants to make another selfie, then notices an S.O.S sign is on the sand, asking if Suisei wrote it. Subaru thinks someone is in danger, and the three girls run into the woods, and get lost.
    • They end up in another island, and Luna tries to upload her pictures, but lack of connection won't let her. Luna rolls in frustration because she wanted to kill time. Subaru suggest they split up and ended up back in Japan. Luna's phone reveals they're in Chigasaki, a city in Yamanashi prefecture.note .
  • Episode 171: Clash of the Palanquins:
    • Suisei, Miko, Mio, and Lui ends up at a festival, and Suisei points out they're not wearing yukatas. Miko wants to know if there's any stalls open, like a gambling den. Cue Chloe losing at a gambling game and accuses Polka of cheating, and the latter denies it. Then they start arguing and the other girls decide to move on, except Suisei who was enjoying the whole thing. Then Haachama comes out of nowhere with a Palanquin, and Suisei and Miko lands on it while Lui and Mio lands on Pekora's. Chloe asks if she can have a piece of Polka's snack, and as the Palanquins clash, she eats it anyway. Hacchama wants another round, and the other girls angrily objects.
    • What makes this episode extra funnier is Suisei is the one playing the Only Sane Man, minus wanting to see Chloe and Polka fight.
    • Haachama and Pekora's palanquins being propelled by Haatons and Nousagi, respectively. And the fact that Pekora's is equipped with carrot drills.
  • Episode 172: Gone Missing marks the early debut of hololive English members Gura and Ina, and stars Umisea's cast plus Chloe:
    • Marine states she misses land while Gura makes an offhand remark about "this cosplayer keeping the setting alive". Then Ina spots an alligator that's 70% crab chasing Chloe, who Gura offhandedly calls a "kid who's zero percent orca."
    • Aqua knows the creature since she'd actually fished it up in a Hologra episode two years previous, and happily comments about how "it's grown so much".
    • The other girls deliberately abandon ship while making excuses for doing so (Ina says she's going to hold the ship, Aqua says she'll save Chloe, and Gura flat-out says nothing). Marine then decides to ram the ship into the crab.
    • Marine wakes up on a deserted island, and sees Chloe making a large sandcastle (with a minor note from the narrator). Aqua wonders what happens to Ina and Gura when Chloe states she ate them, before saying she was joking. Cue Aqua and Marine leaving her behind, and she runs up to them.
  • Episode 173: If I Were An Evil Overlord has Marine host a "Big Bad Queen" contest where the girls attempt at being the best Evil Overlord. Keyword being ''attempt.''
    • Entry #1 is Polka, who hams up her speech, and says the world is full of malice and asks the Hero that, if he were to protect themselves from hate, that they should buy charms off her!
Marine: Quit pawning stuff! You're the big bad! Dream bigger!
    • Entry #2 is Choco, who is giggling ominously that she has created a devious liquid. Which she happily uses to make her kitchen sparkling clean.
Marine: (kicks the oven door open) What is this, slice-of-life? Big bads don't cook!
    • Entry #3 is Okayu, who manages to be the closest to Evil Overlord by pulling off a phone scam. Aqua falls for it and gives her twintails to Okayu as she has no money. Okayu. touched by the gesture, accepts the offering. She then poses with them and dual wields the twintails like Miyamoto Musashi.
    • Declaring the girls as useless, Marine calls off the only "Big Bad Queen" contest with this edition.
Marine: And it ain't coming back!
  • Episode 170: Cutting Loose in PSO2 premiered originally on Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis before being uploaded to Youtube, and is a hilarious example of Cross Promotion.
    • After Fubuki's tourism plan goes belly-up due to competition, she ropes Ina and Shien into attempting to revitalize their business with a tour of Halpha. Hilarity Ensues.
Guard (voiced by Roberu): This is Central City.
      Shien: Where'd you come from?!
      Guard: This is Central City.
      Shien: He's an NPC!
    • The fact that Ina ran all the way from the Hololive office to Halpha.
  • Episode 174: The Veggie Life:
    • Noel begins to start eating vegetables which causes Polka to freak out because she loves gyūdon bowls. Noel tells her she's gaining weight and decides to cut it by eating vegetables. Polka notices a couple of carrots on her basket and asks her if they belong to Pekora. Noel responds with "ignorance is bliss" while having a blank stare.
    • Ayame then enters the office with an exercise ball and asks why she smells vegetables, which Noel tells her that she is eating vgetables for her diet. Ayame says she also has a vegetable on her, which is a mandrake screaming, complete with death metal music in the background, where Ayame thought it was an eggplant that Shion gave to her. Noel wonders why the "eggplant" looks so slim to Polka's exasperation while Ayame beats it to death.
    • Then lastly, Pekora wonders what happens to her carrots only to find that Noel is holding a box full of it. Cue Eye Beams from Pekora when she finds out Noel is responsible.
Pekora: Has anyone seen my main and spare carrots? You'll have my respekt.
Noel: Here's Pekora's Carrots 'n Spares XXL Set!
Pekora: (Eye Beams) IT WAS YOU!
      Noel: PEKOOOOOOO!
  • Episode 175: Amane Kanata, Roomer
    • Kanata finds a purple mushroom growing in the office and eats it. She ends up liking it that she starts to make the office humid, to the complaints of the other girls.
    • Choco wakes up from how hot the office is and sees that Kanata had set up multiple heaters to make the room even more hot, with various closeup shots of Choco's body. Then Kanata places a mushroom buddy and Choco is not happy about being ignored.
    • Matsuri tells Kanata she grew something, and when she thought Matsuri grew a mushroom, she reveals that it was a tomato. Kanata immediately becomes disinterested and Matsuri angrily grabs her by the cheeks and apologizes.
    • Then Kanata gets desperate by praying to God and Buddha, and Ayame notes the irony of her praying to Buddha with a deadpan "Boo the Buudha" with Aqua and Shion staring at her while Matsuri couldn't hold it. The mushroom finally grows, and Kanata thinks about how hard she was trying to make it grow, but gets eaten by Haachama anyway, and Kanata gets absolutely pissed at her.
  • Episode 176: Everything is Evil:
    • This episode is all about Haachama trying to join HoloX, with all of the weirdness you'd expect. Haachama claims she has done some bad things, such as money laundry, which cuts to Haachama washing bags of money. Lui asks if Haachama knows what that term means, which the latter exclaims she does not.
    • When Lui declines her offer, Haachama declares that she'll redebut with seventh generation and that they'll be bassists. Lui holds a squid out of nowhere, and declines her offer to join gen 7, and gets blinded by Lui's squid. Choco tells her she has sty, resulting in wearing two eyepatches.
    • Then Haachama wants to play a game, and picks up a goddamned chainsaw for "Ninja Blind Fight", and uses it on Lui's squid, blinding Lui in the process.
    • The episode starts and ends the same way: Haachama looking at the stars outside the office's night sky, mentioning Deneb, Altair, and Vega. But the last thing of her list? An elbow. The difference between the two is that the episode ends with squid ink all over the place, with Lui having to wear two eyepatches due to the injuries.
      (at the beginning)
Haachama: If that's Deneb, Altair, and Vega...(shows her elbow) What is this?
      Lui: An elbow.

      (at the end)
Haachama: If that's Deneb, Altair, and Vega...(shows her elbow) What is this?
(Lui now wears two eyepatches to cover her blinded eyes; she then strikes Haachama with a right elbow to the face)
      Lui: I can't see jack!
Haachama: (writhing in pain) An elbow!
  • Episode 177: Batting For Angels
    • The requirement to become an angel... is to die without sin. Nene's confident that, as idols, she and Chloe have definitely led virtuous lives, while Chloe is deeply regretting a past sin.
    • When Chloe asks Kanata how angels spend their free time, Kanata replies that they watch videos and browse social media. Chloe clarifies that she wants to know what normal angels do, and Kanata takes offense to that.
    • Nene accidentally bumps into Kanata, she angrily threatens them. When God intervenes, Kanata threatens to kick God's ass, and gets vaporized for it. She got better in the next episode.

    • Shion, Okayu, and La+, the self-proclaimed "Mochi-mochi Chubby Cheek Sisters," barge in, intending to eat all the mochi. Haachama is intimidated by their squishy cheeks, but it turns out that those cheeks don't do much and the trio is quickly routed.
