    Gran Turismo series

    Gran Turismo 2
  • The Renault Espace F1. Can you imagine a Super prototype based on a family van with a sound of F1 car with 818hp?
  • In the NTSC 1.0 due to a bug in the global list of possible opponents, there are opponents that are out of place:
    • Apricot Hill 200km - an event featuring mid-performance sports cars, but a RUF BTR2 may appear.
    • Seattle 100 Miles - an event featuring American muscle cars, but a TVR Griffith 500 may appear.
    • Laguna Seca 200 Miles - an event featuring JGTC race cars, but a Dodge Viper GTS may appear.
    • Millenium in Rome 2 Hours - an event featuring LMP race cars, but an STP Taisan Viper GT and/or a Jaguar XJ220 GT Race Car (without a racing modification) may appear.
    • Trial Mountain 30 Laps - an event featuring sports saloons and coupés, but a Vector M12 LM Edition may appear. A funny thing is that the Vector can easily lap anyone due to being a 680hp race car while the opponents and you are only using cars only restricted to 295hp.
    • SSR5 All-Night - an event featuring high-performance race cars, but a Citroen Xantia 3.0i V6 may appear. Lots of fun can be happen when the Xantia gets lapped a lot due to being a slow saloon car.
  • In Euro League we can see some opponents getting stuck in Apricot Hill.
  • The Lister Storm V12 Race Car is one of the slowest race cars during in a race involving high-end race cars (like Gran Turismo All Stars, Rome Circuit 2 Hour or Gran Turismo World Championship) due to not being a proper race car and instead is a race modified road car and racing modifications handles the same as a road car.
  • One bug in NTSC-U and NTSC-J version 1.0 in the Tahiti Maze event has the Peugeot 206 Rally Car turning very early and colliding with barriers constantly making the race impossible to lose.

    Gran Turismo 3
  • A pink Vitz can be obtained by winning in four events. FF Challenge in Beginner League (always), Altezza Race in Amateur and Vitz Race (both Beginner and Professional)
  • In Stars and Stripes event, the AI Cobra always spins out in Laguna Seca.
  • You can use some touring cars like the Mitsubishi FTO LM Race Car, Subaru Impreza LM Race Car and Opelnote  Calibra and Astra Touring Car in dirt events.
  • The 2147483647 km/h/mph is one of the most funniest glitches in the game. Simply pick any racing car, put the highest NA/Turbo available, then set the front downforce to the lowest value possible and the rear downforce to the highest value possible, set both the spring rate and ride height to the lowest, then set the gearbox speed to the highest, the final gearbox to 2.500 and the fifth/sixth gearbox to the highest and finally set the TCS and ASM to zero. Now crash in the final wall in Seattle Circuit in the right and the car can exit out of bounds of the track. The car will simply wheelie and reach infinite top speeds at the point of reaching 2147483647 km/h/mph and crash the game.

    Gran Turismo 4
  • Failed your license test? Oh Yeah!
  • This game as a funny bug in where you can use cars that are not allowed to use in Dirt and Snow tires in Arcade Mode by just pressing X and Left/Right in the same time. Have fun to see touring, LMP and super cars competing in rallies.
  • In World Classic Car Series one of possible opponents is a Citroën 2CV which is one of the slowest out of all events to the point that it gets lapped by Buick Special and AC 427 driven by opponents (and potentially Chaparral 2J if the player uses it).
  • In the reverse section of Costa Di Amalfi you can hit the car right in the first corner. The opponent will stuck by colliding in the walls repeatedly.
  • Initiating a Car Wash in GT Auto has your vehicle spins around at ridiculous speed before coming to a complete stop.
  • During the race, after the vehicle made a pit stop and leaves, the pit crew behind it would comically walks towards the pit with their walking animation speed up.
  • For a Self-Imposed Challenge, you have a no-cost choice of street tires including bare-bones economy tires. These tires are so bad, that race cars will probably need all kinds of driver aids just to stop the tires from spinning and prevent loss of control. Yet some players have challenged themselves to complete the game using only these tires. An experienced driver can however pull off some impressive drifts around corners.

    Gran Turismo 6
  • This game featured a custom glitch event named 60mm Homestraight in which if you drive into to the pits backwards, it makes the car reach ridiculous speeds of 700 km/h or more and the wheels can grow to the point that the wheels will cover very half of the screen. However the only way to perform this glitch nowadays is installing Spec II mod in your PS3 which brings back this track.
  • The third and final mission of Lunar Exploration is essentially a Coffee Break where you'll need to knock over 30 cones with your Lunar Rover on the moon.

    Gran Turismo Sport
  • There was a glitch in where you could reach 800 km/h in the Mercedes AMG F1 W08 EQ Power+ 2017. It was patched later.
  • There is a funny money trick in where you're beating LMP1 cars in a Mazda Roadster (ND).

    Gran Turismo 7
  • One of the most new features in this game is that you can officially create custom races with your cars you have in your garage. What is the most funny part. There are multiple ways to mess with this:
    • You can make your opponents drive slower cars like Sambabuses, old Beetles and Fiat 500 '65 while you're driving a 2600 HP Tomahawk X and then hitting your opponents. Reliving the old days of outpowering anyone on races, right?
    • You can also mess by doing random setups to your cars to the point that this makes the cars uncontrollable. Put one of these cars as your opponents and it is instant comedy.
    • Update 1.34 introduced the ability to purchase engine swaps along with Ultimate tuning options for certain cars. The funny part? Purchasing a engine swap shows an animation of GT Auto employee cartoonishly throwing a engine into a car chassis right when another employee removes the original engine.
  • In Sport they introduced safety cars as for 1.53 update and players can make police-based liveries in those cars and share them. They also introduced in this game too. The hilarity part? Since you can make custom races with your own cars stored in your garage this means you can make a race with police cars in a sim-racing game.
  • Update 1.36 introduced the Toyota Ambulance HiMedic '21. Yes, the first real world emergency vehicle in the series (if not counting the safety cars with police liveries) which is weird driving an ambulance around circuit tracks and battling with the rivals especially for a sim-racing game. You can make an ambulance race of all things along with police cars. As if wasn't enough, you can even turn from an ambulance into a SWAT van!
