You, and your B-spec driver(s), are Time Lords. In fact, everyone in the GT world is.

And your/B-spec Bob's car is the TARDIS. In GT4 and GTPSP, as well in the spinoff Tourist Trophy, there are two variations of Fuji Speedway, the old one (80s/90s - 80s one is just 90s without chicanes) and the newer one (2005, which is in GT5). And in GT5, you have two versions of Circuit de la Sarthe, 2005 and 2009, albeit with just slight differences. It is possible to bring a newer car into the older versions of Fuji/Sarthe in these games. So it is only possible that you, your B-spec Bob(s), and in fact everyone, is a Time Lord.

  • Further supported in 6 and Sport, as the former has the 2013 version of la Sarthe. Both contain cars that are 'from the future'. For instance, the super-fast SRT Tomahawk VGT line is said to be from the year 2035, and the Chaparral 2X and Hyundai N 2025 are both said to be from 2025. 5 had the McLaren MP4-12C before the car was formally put into production, but after the final production design was shown.

Gran Turismo Sport is really Gran Turismo 7 Prologue.

Sport offers a more cutdown version of the regular Gran Turismo experience (fewer cars, tuning is more basic). The sneak peek for GT7 showed a bigger experience, with more complex tuning and a home menu reminiscent of GT4. The graphics were similar as well, only thing different is the addition of volumetric clouds.

  • Supported by the fact that some of the network functions in Sport make calls to servers with the name GT 7 SP.
