    Main Game
  • The Irony of the announcer calling Glamrock Freddy "The one, the only, Freddy Fazbear!" Doubly so for it being a recycled voiceline from Help Wanted.
    • This game came out after Special Delivery, where numerous Freddies are sent out to numerous people, and Glamrock Freddy later learns he isn't the only Freddy, and nearly has an existential crisis over it. "The one, the only" indeed.
  • Freddy has an Idle Animation in which he'll wave at you. Sometimes after his first interaction with Vanessa, he'll do this the moment her back is turned.
  • Freddy has a couple of oblivious points:
    • One happens when Gregory is reading off the pass upgrade disclaimer, with a note about winning a prize. Freddy gives us this:
Freddy: I wonder what the free prize is?
    • When Gregory asks Freddy if he saw Vanny, Freddy describes the nearby fountain instead of properly answering his question. Gregory exasperatedly asks if he saw the rabbit lady that just danced her way past the fountain. It turns out Freddy couldn't see her, implying something weird is going on.
  • At one point, a pass upgrade machine eats your pass, requiring that you find a certain toy to get it out. When you find the toy, it turns out to be a Mr. Hippo fridge magnet which Gregory finds lame. Apparently, Mr. Hippo is so unpopular In-Universe that Freddy Fazbear feels bad for you.
    • Freddy delivers the above line with such genuine gravitas and sorrow in his tone you'd think he's consoling Gregory over losing a loved one or something else truly tragic. Mr. Hippo is THAT terrible.
    • His disdain is made even clearer should you obtain the magnet before the machine eats your pass.
      Gregory: It ate my pass!
Freddy: Try that terrible magnet you found.
    • Becomes an amazing Brick Joke in endings where Freddy escapes the Pizzaplex along with Gregory, but the Pizzaplex survives. In a newspaper clipping, you can see that Monty has taken over as the face of the band… but if you look closely at the background, who's taken Freddy's place as the fourth member? A Glamrock version of Mr. Hippo, complete with a Heroic Build just like Freddy and Monty! And even more hilariously, Glamrock Mr. Hippo still manages to be the crappiest member of the band despite this awesome makeover; whereas Monty, Chica, and Roxanne have instruments fitting for a rad 80s rock band, Mr. Hippo's signature instrument is — out of all things — a small triangle.
  • During one path through the Pizzaplex, Gregory can find himself in a security room with only one exit that's currently being guarded by Chica. Freddy's solution? Use the pizza delivery app currently open on the computer to order a pizza to distract her. Cue a first-person perspective of a S.T.A.F.F. bot making her one, with the ingredients including "meat" and "not meat." Once the pizza is done cooking, the plan actually works: Chica runs towards the bot and tackles it to the floor while grabbing the pizza, giving Gregory enough time to escape while she's blissfully eating it.
    • Before the S.T.A.F.F. chef meets his end and the footage cuts out, you can actually hear some of Chica's jumpscare sound before it cuts off. Yes, she jumpscared and killed the robot for pizza.
    • Chica says 'pizza' three times in an inflection that brings to mind the video series "How to Make Five Nights at Freddy's Not Scary." Yes, Chica jumpscaring others for pizza is now canon.
  • The Map Bot Running Gag.
    • A specific variant of S.T.A.F.F. bot jumpscares you to offer you a free map. That's all it does. It results in a Bait-and-Switch at one point where, in the process of doing so, Vanessa tackles and pushes it to the side to catch Gregory.
      • If the player chose to escape via the Prize Counter's emergency exit, then as Gregory takes the elevator back, the Map Bot will force the elevator doors open in order to continue its offer.
    • The map bot can actually tear you out of Freddy if you're inside him so it can give you a map. note  Seems it's rather too enthusiastic about its job…
    • One ending features it getting hit by the van Gregory and Freddy use to escape the Pizzaplex, still offering a map all the while. Gregory uses the windshield wipers to knock it off.
    • The Map Bot catches the player one last time near the beginning of the Ruin DLC as the MaskBot, offering the V.A.N.N.I. mask before it finally shuts down.
  • Most of the jumpscares aren't really funny. That said, Chica's stands out as it looks like she's squawking at Gregory while staring off in two different directions. It looks an awful lot like the OG Chica's jumpscare back in the first game, and it's just as funny (and creepy) as that one was.
  • The event that starts the sequence to obtain Roxanne's eyeballs has her try to stop Gregory as he's racing along her speedway, jumping down to try to catch him. Seeing this, Gregory bails from the kart, which promptly starts to go into a tumbling crash… right into Roxanne, who has a wonderful look of dawning horror right before the kart connects. Even better, the game plays it back slower two more times, with the second one especially focusing on the (if judging by her facial expressions) very painful impact of the kart to Roxanne's face.
  • When you upgrade Freddy with Monty's claws, Freddy asks Gregory where he got the claws, and Gregory states that he would rather not say. Freddy then ecstatically says that he'll be able to break down cyclone fences just like Monty did. Gregory goes with it.
  • The Fazerblaster's effect on non-band robots:
    • How you "stun" the S.T.A.F.F. bots. They're technically completely unaffected by the Fazerblaster/camera flash, but it causes them to threaten to revoke your membership, which distracts them long enough for Gregory to slip past them.
    • Using the Fazerblaster on the Wet Floor bots causes them to spin on the spot. There's something funny about how this happens in complete silence, due to them completely lacking any voice acting or sound cues.
  • Gregory is unable to escape via the Fire Escape because it's inaccessible to non-VIPs. Freddy comments that it's not a very good emergency system.
  • The art on the Daycare screen depicting Moon says something about "sleepy-time candy" at the bottom. Given that the daycare has two versions of the character — one for the day shift and one for the night shift — it's implying that Moon drugs kids under his supervision so they'll go to sleep. Ah, Fazbear Entertainment: never failing to cross the line twice with its protocols.
  • The utterly mundane evil of Fazbear Entertainment's policy on the Faz-Cams. They are only sold inside the Monty Golf Arena, where flash photography is prohibited, thus allowing the security staff to confiscate any Faz-Cams that customers purchase. Made even more egregious because (thanks to his sunglasses) Monty is the one animatronic who cannot be disrupted by the Faz-Cam. The cherry on top is Freddy's description of this policy…
Freddy: It is a very clever marketing plan.
  • The intro to Monty's boss fight has him leap in, trash a ball-cannon, then do a badass glass-tilt to Gregory while proudly declaring "Rock and roll!" Quite the audacious way to declare you're gonna pummel a child.
  • If Gregory tries to get back into the daycare after getting thrown out, Sun will crawl up the slide to stop him, screaming "SECURITY ALERT, SECURITY ALERT!!! WOO WOO, WOO WOO!!!" in the most over-the-top way possible. This happens even when Moon is active, and while it may likely be a case of Gameplay and Story Segregation, it's much funnier to imagine that Sun's dislike for Gregory is so strong, he wrestled back control just to keep him out.
    • When you approach the daycare doors, Sun has left a banner over the entrance that says "BANNED" in red crayon, along with a ">:(" face in the corner. The robot means business.
  • One of Monty's roaming lines while patrolling an area:
  • Freddy's excuse for being unable to accompany Gregory to the West Arcade during one segment: He's got a bad case of Dance Fever.
Freddy: I wish I could join you, but after tonight's stage incident, I am not allowed to perform. When I step onto the West Arcade dance floor, I cannot stop myself. It is a programming bug.
  • Sometimes when distracting or stunning Chica, she will react with a high-pitched "Baaawk?" like the chicken she is.
    • Stunning Chica specifically can also sometimes make her exclaim "Bawk bawk bawk!" with a tone and delivery that sounds a lot like she's yelling "What the fuck?!".
  • At one point, Freddy hears a recorded "Freddy" announcement and takes the time to tell Gregory that the bombastic voice on the loudspeaker isn't him, just to make sure there's no confusion.
  • The Fazer Blast area opens with a S.T.A.F.F. bot giving an opening explaining the two rules of the game, followed up by the usual disclaimer.
S.T.A.F.F. bot: Rule number one: No running. No climbing. No jumping. No hitting, kicking, pushing, shoving. No shooting Faz Blaster in or near other players' eyes. Being flashed in the eyes may induce seizures, blindness, or semi-permanent paralysis. If you are flashed in the eyes, immediately flush your eyes with soap and water, then blink repeatedly until vision is restored. Rule number two: have fun!
Warning. Fazer Blast is a high energy space combat simulation. People with medical conditions are allowed to participate. My medical software makes me a qualified doctor and I approve of this message. By listening to these instructions, you've waived all rights and ability to make any claims against Fazbear Entertainment.
    • Entering Fazer Blast results in an automated announcement from Freddy playing, advertising the attraction with an upbeat, obnoxious tone. If the real Freddy is present when the announcement plays, his reaction makes it clear he doesn't like it.
Freddy: ...Gregory, I'm not nearly that annoying, am I?
  • DJ Music Man:
    • The implied reason for why DJ Music Man attacks and chases after Gregory in the West Arcade is his unhappiness over having his sleep interrupted. It's also implied the boss music that plays during the entire encounter comes from him, which slowly increases over time. Combine that with the fact that DJMM was made so that "no two songs are ever the same", and you come to the conclusion that DJ Music Man created a song in the middle of trying to kill a child so that it will play specifically when he's trying to kill a child, and that he has similar asskicking themes to use in different situations (and if he doesn't, he will make up one on the spot). Take notes, William; if you're going to be murdering innocent kids, do it with style.
    • The message which explains DJ Music Man more claims that he has a "Bouncer Mode" that's still in development, and will void your warranty if you use it. While that does explain why DJMM is trying to kill Gregory, it also becomes hilarious once you realise that Gregory found yet another way to screw over Fazbear Entertainment.
    • If you go back to visit DJ Music Man after his boss fight, he's jamming it out without a care in the world. Looks like Freddy was right when calling him a Nice Guy.
    • Your cue that DJMM is getting closer to you or not is whether or not the music gets louder. People were quick to cue in to the fact that this makes DJMM a literal example of "Why do I hear boss music?"
  • After getting the security upgrade from Parts & Services, a bunch of endos will appear out of nowhere, causing Gregory to have the same reaction as the player.
    Gregory: Aw come on!
  • If you take Freddy to the Parts & Services security room where the endoskeletons are, Freddy will begin to have an existential crisis, questioning if he is even the real Freddy, or if he can still be art if he is mass-produced. Gregory is having none of that.
Gregory: Uh, I don't know. I'm just a kid. Maybe we should get you out of here. I don't think it's good for your programming.
  • If you attempt to head into Fazer Blast with Freddy, he will reprimand Gregory for attempting to cheat and point out that it is against his programming.
Freddy: Shame on you Gregory! We cannot enter together. That would be cheating. I am programmed not to cheat!
    • The idea that, despite how dishonest and despicable Fazbear Entertainment are, they specifically made their main mascot incapable of cheating can be amusingly ironic.
  • The Bonnie Bowl "Unlimited" Pass grants free bowling for a whole year. It excludes Mega Pizzaplex entry, which is somewhat understandable… but it also doesn't cover the rental fee for bowling shoes and ball. One might wonder what can be paid for with that pass and if it even makes a difference. And once again, the sheer scale of Fazbear Entertainment's greed rears its head: between this and what we learn in the entrance hall, it turns out that if you wanted to bowl at the Mega Pizzaplex, you would need one ticket to get into the building, another ticket to actually get into the Atrium where the actual food is, another ticket to get into Bonnie Bowl, and you'd still have to pay to actually bowl there! When Steel Wool said they wanted the Pizzaplex to feel like Fazbear Ent. was choking as much money out of patrons as possible, they sure meant it!
  • At one point, Gregory and Freddy take an elevator from Parts and Service into Roxy's room. Going inside whilst piloting Freddy will have Roxy yell at Freddy to leave, not unlike a sister to her annoying younger brother.
Roxy: Freddy, get out of my room!
    Freddy: I'm going. I'm going…
  • Chica's headline attraction at the PizzaPlex is Mazercise, a maze that encourages kids to exercise. It's already ironic considering that Chica has a well-deserved reputation as a Big Eater. For further humor, it's implied the attraction only exists because of how unhealthy most of the Fazbear food offerings are, serving as a patch for parents who would otherwise be inclined to complain. What makes the attraction truly audacious, however, is how the announcing system attempts to spin the aromas of pizza, popcorn, sodas, and such all around as "the smell of fitness", trying to argue that the junk food is fuel for Mazercise.
  • There is a set of cut-outs of the animatronics outside of Monty Golf. Monty, Chica, and Freddy are enjoying themselves with the game, whereas Roxanne is frustrated enough to snap her club in half.
  • One security office has a framed picture of a posed Roxanne Wolf positioned on the desk in such a way you'd typically put pictures of loved ones. What's even better is that there's what looks like a bottle of lotion sitting next to it. To see the franchise directly call out some members of the fandom like this…
  • When Freddy is calling Gregory out for friendly-fire with the Faz-Cam or Fazer Blaster, some of his lines can have him cry "I cannot see!" in a manner comparable to an old man who's lost his glasses. Other times he may simply ask a pained "Why, though?" as if he's utterly taken aback, or just tired of Gregory repeatedly burning his eyes.
  • Vanessa uses the fact that Freddy's voice had been talking to Gregory over the Faz-Watch as evidence that he has been safeguarding Gregory, only for Freddy to point out that his voice is the default voice for the Faz-Watch.
  • Further proving how far Fazbear Entertainment will go for the sake of cutting corners, one message is from a mother wondering if the pizza they ordered was reused from the same, uncleaned pizza cutter because the pieces didn't match up and one slice had different toppings than the rest.
    • Made even funnier since this exact complaint has been made multiple times about Chuck E. Cheese, which was the main inspiration for the Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza restaurant.
  • Some S.T.A.F.F. bots block off areas that require items to access them. Once you give them the item they're asking for, they do an almost Adorkable Happy Dance.
  • As horrific as he is and as satisfying as it is to stop him, Burntrap's situation here is pretty funny when you think about it. Afton is finally back in the — admittedly decayed — flesh, ready to kill and satiate his bloodlust, and continue his immortality… and then he's burned to a crisp by a kid and dragged back by his own, amalgamated petard. The man barely lasts an hour in his new form before everything goes to hell and one has to wonder what he's thinking during all of this. He has Gregory cornered and it still ends badly for him. Whether he's truly dead or not, somewhere out there, his son Michael is laughing and he doesn't know why.
    • This is made even better when you consider that literally all of his enemies from the previous games are almost certainly dead, and staying dead, at this point, and the only two people stopping him from committing further child murder is a seemingly defenseless street orphan and an animatronic he's already hacked… and the fight still ends with him stuck inside a burning building while the other two get out relatively unscathed. Hell, Gregory and Freddy almost certainly have no idea who this guy even is by the end of things!
    • Not to mention that this is the third time he gets trapped in a burning building. And it's the exact same building as last time nonetheless!
    • In fact, when you take a look at Afton's track record, you realize that, not counting the children killed by Vanny, he hasn't killed a damned thing since becoming Springtrap. And not for lack of trying, mind you. He goes out of his way to kill you in Fazbear Frights despite the fact that nothing was stopping him from just leaving through the exit, and he lets himself get salvaged and led into the Pizzeria Simulator location even though he knows it was likely a trap, simply because he didn't want to miss the opportunity of causing another round of murders. Not to mention, he either somehow missed or completely disregarded the fact that he was being salvaged and lured into a death trap by his own son, likely planning on killing him anyway whether he recognized him or not. Both times led to him nearly burning to death. For a Nigh-Indestructable Serial Killer in a horrifying form, he really doesn't seem like the brightest bulb on the Hanukkah tree.
  • The Comedy Bot. Most of its "jokes" are either blatant product placement for the Pizzaplex or are simply the result of it being a robot and having a limited joke catalogue
  • With the Nintendo Switch port of the game also came an official Collector's Edition for the game. Of course, like many Collector's Editions, there's a variety of goodies to take in, like plushies of Sun and Moon, stickers of the whole bunch (also available in the normal retail copies), and even figurines of the Glamrocks and Vanny. This wouldn't be funny on its own, but the humor wraps right around with the show that, amongst the Collector's Edition goodies, the Mr. Hippo fridge magnet is present. Anyone who's not a fan of Mr. Hippo is sure to be facepalming from how it seems to be as lame as it is in-game.

    Ruin DLC
  • There's a ton of graffiti inside the Pizzaplex. One piece reads "I spent the night here and survived!" However, layered on top of that graffiti is another piece consisting of Vanny’s symbol.
  • The inside of the elevator shaft has a walrus graffitied onto the wall with "wall-rus" written next to it.
  • During the lead-up to Ruin's release, the developers stated that Map Bot would not be appearing in the DLC. Technically they were telling the truth, as there is no S.T.A.F.F. Bot in the DLC that jumpscares you while offering you a free map. There is, however, one that offers Cassie a free mask (namely the V.A.N.N.I. mask she uses to access the AR world). Scott may not be fully in charge of the franchise anymore, but his legacy very much lives on.
  • As Cassie makes her way through the decayed kitchens of the Pizzaplex, she's following an inactive Chica on a conveyor belt. This chase culminates with Cassie watching Chica enter the Bakery via conveyor belt, paired with eerie music and sounds...and then Chica falls off the belt with a loud clang.
  • When Monty charges out of the pipe at Cassie, after she screams you can hear Monty going OM NOM NOM NOM.
  • There's an easter egg that lets you find the final resting place of Glamrock Bonnie; The Bonnie Bowl bathroom, shattered and torn apart on the ground with fragments of his bowling ball resting by his head. However, it becomes clear the more you think about it that Monty tried, and failed spectacularly to stage it as if Bonnie just slipped and fell. Firstly, Monty thought a good cover story would be that Bonnie had to use the bathroom and slipped. Second, the set-up implies Bonnie allegedly threw his bowling ball at the wall and then had it bounce back and crack his skull open, completely ignoring the fact that Bonnie's been torn limb from limb and has gaping claw marks in his chest. Third, his oil is being soaked up by a piece of carpet that matches the entrance to Monty Golf. All of this is discovered behind a broken-down wall, which means the staff found this scene and just walled it off & fabricated the story that Bonnie retired. It takes a certain amount of density to so badly manage a cover-up that Fazbear Entertainment comes across as masterminds by comparison.
