Fridge Brilliance

  • At first, it seems completely nonsensical that the same creatures and plants show up on multiple planets in the Creature through Civilization Stages. But then when you get to the Space Stage, you can abduct creatures and plants from one planet and transport them to another planet. Perhaps other aliens who have reached your planet have done the same, and many of the creatures and plants that appear are not, in fact, native to the planet you are playing on. After all, spaceships from other planets do appear in those stages, so it's clear that aliens have indeed visited by then.
  • That omnivores suffers heavily from Complacent Gaming Syndrome is a perfect parallel to not only humanity but the majority of real life high intelligent animals tend to be omnivores as well. Art Initiates Life
  • It's hard to notice until put side-by-side with another creature, but the Grox's animations are much twitchier than any other species, supposedly due to their cybernetic implants.

Fridge Horror

  • Not too infrequently, the ship that appears during Creature stage and Tribal stage abduction events will be none other than The Grox. However, the main reason a player ( and by extension, likely the NPC ships) would be abducting creatures is to place them on other planets to increase T-score. The Grox, meanwhile, cannot live on habitable planets, so they'd have no reason to increase T-score. So what exactly are they doing with the creatures they abduct?
