Fridge Brilliance

  • Captain Hero's necrophilia could be seen as a deconstruction of Death Is Cheap, which is a frequent trope in the superhero genre.
  • Toot, the 20's sex symbol, has hairy legs as part of her many Fan Disservice qualities. Women didn't typically start shaving until the 1930's.
  • Xandir isn't actually a straight-played video game character (no Pun intended), but is based on cartoons from the late 80's that were loosely based on video games (like The Legend of Zelda (1989) or The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!) which were typically a lot more campy and homoerotic in hindsight.
  • In part one of "Lost in Parking Space", it is revealed that none of the main cast actually die. Later in parts one and two we see that Hot Topic has a side business torturing and killing famous but annoying cartoon characters. You would think that they would eventually run out of characters, except that if the main cast can't die, that means the others can't die, being tortured forever, making the business lucrative.
  • Plenty of people complained about this show trying to be "South Park". While they are at least partially right that it took inspiration from "South Park", "Drawn Together" is using black and shock comedy at lot, so of course there are going to be similarities with South Park, but that's not enough to call it a rip-off. The fact that the main characters are assholes also doesn't make it a rip-off. The content of "Drawn Together" being so disturbing isn't completely out of place either, considering that most actual reality shows rely on shock and drama, it's just that Drawn Together takes it up to eleven in order to mock it.

Fridge Logic

  • Godzilla's cameo in which he accuses Ling-Ling of being a "Twinkie". He for some reason, is in the same studio Ling-Ling was giving his speech in. Another one: How the hell can he throw those paper cups with a literal handful of said paper cups and a tree with a sign? Not to mention, having an Improbable Aiming Skills to throw them at him?
  • And how the hell does Godzilla manage to give anyone crap about becoming American after 'Zilla?
    • Because 'Zilla's been turned into a completely separate character?
