As a Fridge subpage, all spoilers are unmarked as per policy. You Have Been Warned.

Fridge Brilliance
  • The beginning of Kenny Dermot's theme sounds unusually heroic for a Psychopath Battle, until you realize that he has a hero complex, and wants to outdo Nick and seem like a badass in the eyes of others, so the beginning probably reflects that.
  • It might be a coincidence, but it is strange how Dylan Fuentes has sharp teeth, if one considers his character design to embody Lust, until one learns that canine teeth were involved to make humans appear more attractive, and apparently it works, as his club of fangirls (and more than one fanboy) would tell you.
  • The plane crash at the beginning seems to just a intro action set piece for the sake of looking cool, except it's mentioned that the reason for the outbreak was Isabela sending out a signal to shut off zombrex chips in an area, that poor plane just had the unfortunate luck to pass through the area when the signal went out, and anyone on board with a chip turned.
Fridge Horror
  • Just how long has Albert Contiello been running his business as part of the organ trade!?
  • Given that Hilde Schmittendorf is visibly older than Nick Ramos, who is said to be 18 years old at the least, her interactions with him become twice as disturbing, as they have ephebophilic undertones (granted, Nick would still count as an adult if he's 18, but the way Hilde taunts Nick implies that she views him like an underage teenager even though Nick is an adult).
  • Dylan Fuentes has zombies in his lair, implying that even a rotten walking corpse can be used as a source of pleasure for him.
  • It may seem odd to you that most of the safe houses in the city are infested when you first reach them as Nick, forcing you to clear them out before you can use their facilities. If you play the Operation Broken Eagle DLC, however, one of Adam's side quests is deliberately attacking the safe houses with a customized bioweapon, each of which is locked up and clearly occupied by living survivors. Adam is the one who infested those safe houses. And worst of all, Adam shows no remorse for doing that.
Fridge Logic
  • Why was Albert Contiello continuing his business in the middle of a zombie apocalypse? Not that many people would have the need for the organ trade in that scenario, and it'd be much more wiser for him to drop everything, pack up his materials, wait for somebody like Nick to come, take advantage of their kindness, escape Los Perdidos, and start his business over again.
    • well, he was a psychopath, that's like asking why Dylan was still trying to get his freak on or why Darlene was still stuffing herself with food or Jherii was still working out.
    • If anything, a Zombie Apocalypse would be a gold mine for an organ harvester like Albert. Someone suffers an injury, and needs surgery, and their options are either to pay for an organ transplant from him (and he can charge through the nose, since he’s the only option, regardless of skill), die, or turn into a zombie. Someone doesn’t like it? Sucks to be them.
