While looking for a Grimoire, Team Remix Heart happen upon an Ultra Wormhole and end up in a world filled with creatures known as Pokémon. Now they must journey through this strange and amazing world to find a way home, making friends, both human and Pokémon, along the way.

Pokémon: Remix Hearts is a crossover between BlazBlue and Pokémon written by Seanzilla1988 alongside GammaTron and Kamen Rider ZER0 in which the girls of Team Remix Heart (Mai Natsume, Kajun Faycott, Noel Vermillion, Tsubaki Yayoi, and Makoto Nanaya) end up in the Kanto Region of the Pokémon world, right at the beginning of one Ash Ketchum's journey. While the fic primarily follows the original Pokémon anime, it also incorporates elements from the games, manga, and films.

Pokémon Remix Hearts

• A-Cup Angst: Noel tends to have this at times. In fact one of the reasons she got a Feebas from the Magikarp salesman on the SS Anne was because he told her having a Milotic "will increase one's beauty and figure".
• Adaptational Badass: Several characters from the anime are this:
  • The Weedle Ash failed to catch in canon is caught by Makoto, named Needles, and becomes a Beedrill...that has become its own unique variant due to Noel's cooking giving it the Ability Corrosion.
  • The Samurai from Viridian Forest is revealed to be an Alolan native and his Starter is a Golisopod. He also has a Vespiquen.
  • AJ's Sandshrew evolved into a Sandslash that knows Hyper Beam.
  • The poor Sandshrew in Mt. Moon became Mai's Starter Pokemon, named Terra, and has gone on to become a raw powerhouse if the group, capable of lifting Onix like he was just a bundle of rope.
  • Misty in her Gym Battle with Ash used a team meant for Trainers with more than two badges and Ash nearly wins if not for Team Rocket interfering.
  • The Gengar of the Pokémon Tower was actually the Gengar of another Trainer before being caught by Ash and is capable of Mega Evolution.
  • Primeape has received the moniker of 'Mad Beast' and shattered the ceiling of the fighting arena. Ash never releases him and he's proven his worth.
  • Erika has a Lurantis as part of her Gym, capable of cutting open the sky with a Solar Blade attack.
  • Koga owns a Greninja for his Eight Badge Team and uses a Salazzle and Alolan Muk when he battles Ash.
  • Blaine uses his Eight Badge team on Ash, utilizing German terms to utilize combination attacks and his Magmar from the anime is instead a powerful Magmortar.
  • James proves to be a lot more formidable opponent against Jessebelle in a four-on-four match. Growlie ends up evolving into an Arcanine thanks to Dollaro giving James a Fire Stone.
• Adaptational Early Appearance: MANY Pokémon, and occasionally humans, introduced in later Generations appear in the fic. The first chapter alone has Pachirisu, which were introduced in Generation IV, with one becoming Makoto's starter, Berry.
• Big Sister Instinct: While this applies to all the Remix Heart girls regarding Ash, Kajun in particular is the biggest example, having come to see Ash as a little brother.
• Canon Immigrant:
  • The Black Fog from The Electric Tale of Pikachu manga appears as an antagonist in Chapter 22.
  • Red and Leaf, the male and female protagonists of Pokémon Red and Blue, are the other two trainers from Pallet Town.
  • Cross from the Pokémon: I Choose You! film appears in the fic.
• Catchphrase Interruptus: Team Rocket tends to get their motto interrupted by the girls, in particular Kajun and Makoto.
• The Dreaded: "White Truth" Aoiro, "Black Ideal" Karai, and "Empty Void" Kira, the three daughters of Team Rocket's boss, Giovanni, are this to everyone who know about them, even regular Rocket grunts.
• Expy: Erika's Lurantis is basically Roronoa Zoro, complete with No Sense of Direction and his skill with Solar Blade.
• For Want Of A Nail: Thanks to Team Remix Heart's addition to Ash's circle of friends, he's less prone to his canon self's boneheaded decisions... mostly.
• Hero of Another Story: Chapter 52 reveals that Ragna and Jin somehow ended up in Hisui.
• Lethal Chef: Noel, as usual. Everyone in the Pokémon world are downright perplex at how she can make her death dinners censored in real life. Ironically, Poison-type Pokémon (and Mai) LOVE Noel's cooking, making her a Supreme Chef to them.
  Jessie: (about Mai) Oh, the poor girl...
  James: How are you alive is amazing...
  Meowth: Maybe she grew up around Poison-type Pokémon...
• Running Gag:
  • Whenever someone comments of Makoto's "cosplay", the Beastkin tries to correct them only to get interrupted. It gets to the point she doesn't even bother one time, knowing she'll be interrupted.
  • After Gen VIII came out, Makoto now gets compared to a Greedent.
  • Team Rocket being unable to say their motto, either because someone interrupts them, or, at one point, being bared from saying it.
• Shout-Out: Plenty.
  • Chapter 1: Makoto quotes a phrase from a certain film when the girls first landed in the Pokémon world.
  • Chapter 6: Violet, one of the Sensational Waterflower Sisters, positively compares Ash's Butterfree to Tarzan due to his improvised technique.
  • Chapter 9: While stuck in a net with Misty, Makoto, Noel, Tsubaki and Mai, Ash briefly wonders if Brock and Kajun got brought onto a pirate ship captained by a man who has an ability to stretch his limbs like rubber.
  • Chapter 23: When Terra moves a frozen Makoto away from Mai...
    Aqua: (When could you do that?)
    Terra: (I love me my Strength.)
    Aqua: (...Who gave him spinach?)
  • Chapter 26: After Erika's Lurantis handles Team Rocket, he quotes Zoro's line from This Bites!, with both Gloom and Bulbasaur quoting Ussopp's response.
• Wham Line:
  • At the end of Chapter 16, Professor Oak delivers one that leaves Kajun stunned.
    Professor Oak: Though, I am curious. How did you and your friends end up in this world?
  • Chapter 49: Kajun delivers one that leaves Mai surprised.
    Kajun: Then...we go home...possibly...maybe...if I want to...

Pokémon Remix Hearts Legends Arceus

• Achievements in Ignorance: Kimiko the Oshawott managed to beat the wild Shinx by popping out of her PokeBall when Ragna accidentally threw it.
• Darker and Edgier: Given that this takes place in the far past of the Hisui region, Pokemon are far more dangerous, and it's been stated that people have actually died to Wild Pokemon. In the first chapter alone, a Shinx actually attacked Ragna.
