Chapter 2:
Berry triggering Caterpie's defense mechanism by accident when she tried to comfort the caterpillar.
Berry thinks that Caterpie will eat her if he uses Bug Bite.
When Noel offers to cook, the girls aside from Mai panic. Ash and Misty are left stunned by her cooking, Pikachu nearly passes out from sniffing it, and Tsubaki doesn't want to agree with Makoto thinking Noel is secretly a Poison-Type with her cooking being her way of attacking.
Makoto's reaction to how much a bike costs. Apparently, there are a lot of zeroes.
Chapter 3:
Even Ash is getting into the puns, much to Makoto's amusement and Mai's dismay.
After Pikachu gets sick after accidental consumption of Noel's cookies, Needles (Makoto's Weedle) eats one... and loves it! The other Pokemon agree to give Needles Noel's cooking the next time she cooks for them.
Meowth: Dis is not goin' t' plan, but da PokeTube comments are pourin' in. 'Two Schmucks and deir Poisonous Partners' is a hit.
Kajun's priceless reaction to the picture of a whole group of Nurse Joys? Cloning.
Poor Ash's first exposure to Kajun's 'Science Mode'... to the point steam was coming out of his head.
After Noel makes some snack cakes for Nurse Joy as thanks for Yuki's (Noel's newborn Aloan Vulpix) check-up, resulting in Joy carried off by stretcher, a delighted Needles pops out of her Poke Ball to eat some! Though she's not willing to share with Mai, coating her head with String Shot when the girl tried to take her share.
When Misty inquires how Makoto was able to carry so many plates of food, Tsubaki mentions that 'she lifts... and has a big appetite'. After the former points out about Ash's own pile of empty bowl and plates... the latter couldn't help but worry for their budget. Misty concurs.

As in canon, after Ash runs off to Cerulean City in comical rage in response to Gary's taunting message on the sign, Makoto happily runs after him as a workout, with Berry agreeing!
Chapter 6:
Misty's canon attempts at dissuading Ash from Cerulean city is made funnier with Berry and Makoto joining in on the laughter.
Brock's unease at watching Noel cook.
After Makoto gives Misty encouragement to prove her sisters that she's improved as a Trainer, we have this following gem:
Makoto: And if they don't like it, we'll let Berry shock 'em. Misty: (trying not to laugh) Makoto! Makoto: What? Nobody mocks my friends and gets away with it.
When Team Rocket interrupts Ash and Misty's battle with their usual motto, Makoto interrupts them by calling them Team Stalker.
Pikachu's accidental run on the treadmill is made funnier with Berry and Terra joining in.
Like in canon, as Joe claims that while he's the weakest of his class, he is still better than someone with two badges based on his academic level, Makoto internally lampshades the Open Mouth, Insert Foot trope, and when Joe continues to earn Brock and Misty's ire, she snarks adding his whole body into it.
Joe's Weepingbell gets an even more humiliating defeat when not only Misty mentions the secondary types of both it and her Starmie, it gets one of the simulation machines shoved into its mouth via Psychic.
Team Rocket's defeat in canon ends with more humiliation, with not only Pokémon Tech and Remix Heart's combined Pokéball barrage, but one of the students hit James between the legs, with Jessie's Ariados dragging the latter off.
Male student: (cringes) Sorry. Threw too soft on that.
Turns out Kajun disappeared in the majority of the chapter to take the tests there... and receives a diploma in the process!
Giselle and Joe's bemused reactions while watching Ash and friends run away from Science-Mode Kajun (the latter wanting to study Luca (Tsubaki's newly acquired Riolu)). It gets funnier later when in Professor Kajun's Pokémon Corner, Tsubaki gets bound up and Luca getting pinned down by Hikari's Confusion so Kajun can commence her lecture! Oh, and Brock still hasn't got any firewood near the end of the chapter.
Chapter 8:
Makoto waking up an unconscious Meowth by announcing free catnip for sale.
While they're in a forest, Misty pleads to everyone to say they're not lost (they are). Makoto assures she know where they are. Her answer? A forest.
Terra keeps ending up as a ball since he's working on getting used to being in a Macho Brace. He even ends up in a ball when he faints.
When everyone but Brock and Kajun were stuck in a net, Yuki tried to help by using Powder Snow on the net to freeze it. She’s still a baby, however, so she ends up freezing everyone with the net.
Makoto makes a joke about them hanging around while stuck in the net. Despite the situation, Tsubaki still goes out of her way to smack Makoto with a paper fan.
Mai learns that all Pokémon come from eggs. She's left stunned.
When the group mistake a large rock for a giant Pokémon, Pikachu instantly tries to hide inside Makoto's tail - only to get booted out by Berry and Cherry. When they find the actual Pokémon (Charmander) on said rock, Kajun was discreetly erasing the sketch of a monstrous-looking Pokémon based on the rock.
Chapter 11:
When Ash, Brock, and the girls encounter the Squirtle Squad, Makoto instantly thinks of a certain team of turtles...
Turns out when the Boss Squirtle joins Ash's team, his successor was indeed named Mikey!
Chapter 12:
Terra's first taste of Noel's cooking... and learns Poison Sting in the process. He had to dunk his head in a nearby river afterwards.
Squirtle and Aqua discreetly backing away from the sight of Noel's 'pancakes' by hiding behind a clueless Onix, with Squirtle being the more frantic of the two in hushing him.
To rescue Pikachu and Berry, Noel sabotages Team Rocket's meal - which earns the trio food poisoning!
Jessie, James, and Meowth's incredulous reaction to Mai finding Noel's death cooking delicious. Kajun and Tsubaki both confirm it.
Jessie: (about Mai) Oh, the poor girl... James: How are you alive is amazing... Meowth: Maybe she grew up around Poison-type Pokémon...
Chapter 13:
Bill's mind trying to process Noel's Cuteness Proximity as a blur rushed past him to cuddle the Eevee litter.
Bill: ...what just happened? Makoto: (about Noel) ...Cute little fuzzy animal no bigger than a foot. Times a bunch of it... equals one very happy and cuddle-giving Noel.
Leaf teasing Ash whether one of the Remix Hearts girls was his girlfriend. Plus, Kajun probably saw Ash more with a brunettefrom Hoenn...

When Makoto makes a pun (used by Jessie and James in canon) during Ash's rematch with Lt. Surge, Tsubaki hits her with her paper fan, noting she had been 'pun-ished'. Only for the redhead to realize that she made a pun, so Kajun hits her with a paper fan of her own.
Kajun: Better?
Chapter 22:
When Ash pulls of his scared to death bit like in the Anime, Mai is surprised Makoto hasn't grabbed her chest in fright like usual and has instead ended up hugging a tree branch above...with Noel hugging Makoto's tail in fright.
Serenade gets along well with Pikachu when they find the Team Rocket trio and he snarks about which one is the idiot she pointed out.
Despite the horrors of the Pokémon Tower due to the Black Fog, many cannot help but poke fun at Pikachu's voice when humans can understand the Pokémon since he sounds like a girl, much to his frustration.
Chapter 23:
The opening after the recap has Makoto begging Mai to lick the Mega Stones to find out what Pokémon can use them. The way she says it makes it sound like she's talking about something else and very suggestive.
Serenade's reaction to the reaction of the different Pokémon in the group to Noel's Cooking.
Ash's strategy talk with Aoiro is that he won't think of a strategy until he's fighting Sabrina because she can read minds, making Aoiro compare him to Karai.
Aoiro drops everything to order someone to get her a camera. The reason for wanting a camera? To take pictures of Karai (turned into a doll by Sabrina) wearing an adorable frilly dress.
How Gengar defeats Kadabra: first, he puts a Kick-Me Sign on Kadabra and makes a shoe float around and punt Kadabra in the rear. Kadabra starts to chase Gengar, only to slip on a banana peel Gengar drops and fall face-first into a pie. He gets up, only to be poked in the eyes and end up stumbling backwards into a rake that smacks him in the back of the head. When he goes to attack, Gengar apologizes for the pranks with a bouquet of flowers... that squirt Kadabra in the face with water, sending him back into the banana peel, smack into the rake, and then fall back onto the pie. Ash orders Gengar to pull out the big guns and Gengar proceeds to simply lean against a pillar and start filing his claws. Kadabra throws his spoon down and goes to likely strangle the Ghost-Type... before a safe drops down on him. When it opens up, Kadabra stumbles out... into a rain of molasses and feathers followed by a traffic cone and red rubber glove Gengar held up, ending up making him look like a chicken. Kadabra ends up sounding like he's clucking like a chicken before falling over... right into the pie one more time. Sabrina finally collapses in laughter with Serenade not able to even use Telepathy because she can't stop laughing either.
Chapter 25:
The end of Makoto's Recap was briefly interrupted when she hears Brock yelp in pain due to Honey hitting him for joking about onigiri being jelly donuts (she was snacking on her favorite honey-covered donuts). Also serves as a Take That! to that infamous jelly donuts moment by 4Kids Entertainment.
Makoto: ...Brock must've said something he shouldn't... does this means I get some blackmail pictures?
The reason Mankey stole Ash's hat? The emblem on it looked like a green banana to it.
While Charmander using Rage isn't funny...his reaction to a drop of blood on his blanket is.
Charmander: My blanket! Why is there blood on my blanket?! Get some hot water! Get some disinfectant! I need to clean my blanket!
When Pikachu, Berry, and Cherry all realize Hikari (now a Kirlia) has a Science Mode, they immediately smack her unconscious with an Iron Tail each.
Chapter 33:
Luca, despite being a Lucario now, is completely and utterly terrified of Kajun in her Science Mode.
While Heartwarming when Luca explains why he evolved, the funny part comes from the fact Tsubaki and Luca forgot that he now has a spike on his chest and Tsubaki ended up poked by it.
