Drinking game for Choices: Stories You Play
- Take a drink whenever a diamond choice comes up.
- Take another if a character (or otherwise the game itself) tries to make you feel bad for not taking the diamond choice.
- Take three drinks if not taking the diamond choice leads to either a hero dying or a villain escaping. Be careful during the second half of Across the Void.
- Take two drinks when the following recurring diamond choices pop up:
- The option to give a Hate Sink character a "The Reason You Suck" Speech.
- The option to play cupid between two characters.
- The option to buy an outfit that your character already owns or that is given to them as a present.
- The option to save someone's life or having them be in your party even when by any kind of logic they would be foolish not to.
- Down a shot when a Content Warning shows up. For some chapters, you'll need one.
- Down a shot when you complete a chapter. Attempting this challenge while playing My Two First Loves as a VIP is strongly discouragednote .
- Have a celebratory glass of champagne whenever you finish a book. Drink the whole bottle when:
- You finish a long-running series (The Freshman, The Royal Romance, and High School Story all count).
- You achieve the best ending of a book without spending diamonds.
- You complete My Two First Loves without subscribing to VIPnote .
- In Wake the Dead, drink whenever you have to make a Hard Choice.
- In any book with a slow burn, drink when the main character and their love interest finally confess their love to each other.
- Take two drinks if a character that was presumed dead turns out to be alive. Take another two if the character dies later on anyway (and another if they die in a Heroic Sacrifice).
- Take a drink every time a fantasy book involves an "I Know You're in There Somewhere" Fight. Take two drinks if you have to spend diamonds to make the character remember who they are.
- Take a drink when characters play I Never, some variant of Truth or Dare, or Two Truths and a Lie.
- Down a shot when:
- The eyes of your love interest darkens with desire.
- You release a breath you didn't realize you were holding.
- A person's smile doesn't meet her/his eyes.
