Ya'll better, bring it!

Voiced by: Lee Newton

The head cheerleader of Atchison High.

  • Absurd Phobia: Multiple ones. She's afraid of Joseph Gordon-Levitt, the Super Mario Bros. (1993) movie, and the word "collander."
  • Alpha Bitch: Big. Time. It's revealed in Episode 29 that she was formerly a Beta Bitch to Deandra.
  • Ambiguous Situation: Did she give Deandra Pop Rocks to make her sick on purpose? Deandra thinks she did, but Mackenzie points out Tanya might not have known all that she'd eaten earlier—much less the effect it would have. If they really were close at one point, it's not unbelievable that Tanya would just offer some candy to her Big Eater friend. But given her general personality, it's also not unbelievable that she would throw her under the bus for her own persona gain, either. It doesn't really matter either way; regardless, Deandra wound up leaving Atchison, and Tanya ascended to Alpha Bitch status.
  • Ax-Crazy: She stabbed Jenna Darabond multiple times almost to death. For burning down a mall. A MALL!!!
  • Backstabbing the Alpha Bitch: Back when she was Deandra's Beta Bitch.
  • Beauty Is Bad: She's a part time model just like Mackenzie and overall a beautiful teenager, but she's a despicable Alpha Bitch.
  • Berserk Button: When she learned her favorite mall was intentionally burned down by Jenna Darabond, Tanya goes to her jail cell and stabs her to a coma. She pretty much MURDERS Jenna over a MALL.
  • Big, Stupid Doodoo-Head: Her insults are pretty pathetic due to her Gosh Dang It to Heck! tendencies and seeing curse language as below her and her team. Averted when her team loses the Cheer competition and unleashes a powerful Cluster F-Bomb on Overland Park's team.
  • Cluster F-Bomb: Unleashes a HUGE one after losing to Mackenzie at cheer nationals.
  • Conspicuous Trenchcoat: Last time she is seen in the series, she is wearing a trenchcoat in Jenna Darabond's jail cell and proceeds to stab her multiple times for burning down the mall.
  • Cruel Cheerleader: She's a cheerleader and a traitorous Alpha Bitch.
  • Cute and Psycho: She's a beautiful girl, who also happened to have STABBED Jenna Darabond almost to death when she learns she was the one who burned down the Atchison mall.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: Alright, Jenna burning down the mall was pretty messed up. But stabbing her to death for it? Really, Tanya?
  • Dissonant Serenity: Speaks in her usual sugary fake enthusiasm as she proceeds to stab Jenna Darabond multiple times.
  • Evil Counterpart: She's basically Mackenzie sans the Jerk with a Heart of Gold tendencies and occasional Pet the Dog moments, making Tanya a complete bitch and Hate Sink. Oh, and there's also the fact she stabs someone to a fucking coma, which is something that Mackenzie has the decency AND sanity of not doing.
  • Evil Laugh: While not akin to the common laugh of an Alto Villainess, her high-pitched giggling counts. Especially when she told Overland Park that they stole their routine and that it's lucky for them (Atchison High) to go first.
  • Faux Affably Evil: Hides just how nasty she is behind a mask of sugary sweetness and "standards." However, much like a certain Dolores Umbridge, her fake personality is every bit as sickening as her real one, if not more. The mask comes crashing down when she loses Cheer Nationals.
  • Fearless Fool: The woman is absolutely unmoved by Deandra's threats and her demonstration to back those threats up, citing her knowledge of Terminator and Robocop franchises as enough needed to take Deandra down if necessary.
  • Giggling Villain: She loves to laugh loudly at Overland Park's misery.
  • Gosh Dang It to Heck!: Enforces it on her fellow cheerleaders, as well. Completely and utterly averted in Episode 30.
  • Hate Sink: Intentionally designed to be a detestable character with no real redeeming qualities.
  • Hypocrite: Holds herself above the Overland squad for not swearing, yet unleashes a Cluster F-Bomb when she loses at cheer nationals.
  • Icy Blue Eyes: Her blue eyes reflect the coldness of her heart.
  • Jerkass: Being the cheer captain of Atchison High, Overland Park's rivals, she's definitely a huge, unpleasant and mean-spirited bitch who loves to drag others down.
  • Karma Houdini: She pretty much gets away with the murder of Jenna Darabond.
  • Klingon Promotion: Much like Mackenzie and Shay, Tanya is believed to have deliberately sabotaged Deandra so she could usurp her role as head of Atchison's Cheer Squad.
  • Knight of Cerebus: It should be expected... but how do you top Jenna Darabond, who was the one responsible for everything that had happened from the start of the series? The feud between the Van Burens and the cheer squad to having threat their popular status by the invasion of hipsters? Murder by knife stabbing, of course!
  • Never Bareheaded: She wears a blue polka-dot bow in her head.
  • Not So Above It All: See Villainous Breakdown below.
  • Not-So-Harmless Villain: She fucking killed Jenna Darabond!
  • Pop-Cultured Badass: When Brittnay makes a comment about how talking with the Atchison High Cheer Squad is like arguing with the cast of DuckTales (1987), Tanya makes a comment that they should be so lucky to argue with anyone from that show, saying how Scrooge McDuck is worth 4.4 Billion, has fragile duck bones, and still dives into a pile of gold coins every day.
  • A Pupil of Mine Until She Turned to Evil: She used to be Deandra's Beta Bitch back when she was the head cheerleader of Atchison High, and Deandra taught Tanya everything she knows. And she repayed her by giving her Pop Rocks which caused Deandra to have irritable bowel syndrome and literally lose her shit all over the place on top of the pyramid. Deandra left Atchison afterwards, and always thought that Tanya did it on purpose.
  • Put on a Bus: Strangely doesn't appear again in the series after her murder of Jenna Darabond.
  • The Rival: To Mackenzie.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The Blue to Taylor's Red.
  • Sanity Slippage: Losing to Overland Park had a big impact on Tanya's sanity. Not only does she completely throws her Gosh Dang It to Heck! policy out the window and unleashes the most impactful Cluster F-Bomb seen so far in the show, she also turned so crazy that she stabbed Jenna Darabond to death for burning down her favorite mall.
  • Smug Snake: Even more so than Mackenzie. Though if not for the fact that Mackenzie has to keep herself calm, she would've most likely destroyed Tanya at an earlier date.
  • Sugary Malice: Fond of using this.
  • The Three Faces of Eve: The Wife to Taylor's Seductress and Trisha 2's Child.
  • Token White: She's the only (introduced) white cheerleader in the Atchison cheer squad. That is until Ashley Katchadorian betrays Overland Park and joins them.
  • Unwitting Pawn: For Jenna Darabond, who burn her town mall to ensure her team compete against Overland Cheer Squad for their mall. When she found out the truth about what happened, she very livid.
  • Upper-Class Twit: She refrains her squad from swearing to put themselves above the Overland squad. It completely shatters in Episode 30.
  • Used to Be a Sweet Kid: Implied. She was previously a junior with no experience whatsoever in cheerleading who greatly looked up to Deandra and did everything she could for her. The two became close and Deandra taught Tanya everything she knew. Then one day, the seek of popularity got to Tanya's head and she ended up Backstabbing the Alpha Bitch by purposely causing Deandra to have Irritable Bowel Syndrome and defecates all over her squad during a performance. After Deandra quits Atchison in shame, Tanya took on the head cheerleader role and became the nasty Alpha Bitch she is today. It gets taken further when she ends up stabbing a girl to death for burning down her favorite mall.
  • Villainous Breakdown: Completely loses her shit and swears up a storm when the Overland squad beat her squad at cheer nationals.

And when I mean butt, I mean ass. As in the ass I'll be fucking you in, bitch!

Voiced by: Carla Henderson

The co-head vice-captain to Tanya Berkowitz. She used to go to Overland Park High School and was on the cheerleading squad. An incident with Brittany's boyfriend on a school trip led to them becoming sworn enemies.

    Trisha 2
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/trisha_atchison_9189.jpg

"Trisha! Ahh, the things I've seen! It's nothing like Look Who's Talking! It's just like Look Who's Talking Too! Ughhh!"

Voiced by: Haley Mancini

Atchison's resident ditz and bureaucrat.

  • Ambiguously Brown: Her race is never specified, but she has brown skin.
    • However, the Season 5 extra I'm A Trisha, You're A Trisha implies that she's Latina.
  • Big Sister Instinct: To Trisha C. in Season 5.
  • Beauty Equals Goodness: She's one of the kindest girls on the show and is a pretty cheerleader.
  • Big Sister Mentor: To Trisha C., being the older of the two and all, and it's especially prominent in Season 5.
  • Birds of a Feather: With Trisha C. So much, you'd think they share the same braincell.
  • Brainless Beauty: She's just as dumb as she is pretty.
  • Breakout Character: Trisha 2 became a massive fan favorite due to her likeable personality and her being Birds of a Feather with Trisha C. So much that she transferred to Overland Park in Season 3 to join the cheer squad, and she along with Trisha C. got their own spin-off called "The Trisha Show".
  • Butt-Monkey: Compared to Trisha C., Trisha 2 is more prone to being on the wrong end of slapstick comedy moments; for example, she once got an uncomfortable eyeful of a baby's head coming out of Saison's vagina.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: Just as ditzy and random as Trisha C.
  • Cute Clumsy Girl: She's insanely ditzy and often drops things but is adored by most people she meets due to her nice nature.
  • Dissonant Serenity: Whenever she swears, as she's the sweetest girl you could meet. When she has to insult Judith as part of Dr. Converse's cheerleader training, it confuses the hell out of her.
Judith: You seem to be saying some really hurtful things, but your tone is very friendly.
  • The Ditz: Even morseo than Overland Park's Trisha.
  • Dumb Is Good: The second-sweetest girl in the series, second only to Amberlynn, and the dumbest, second to no one.
  • Dumbass Has a Point: In Episode 67, she points out that Brittnay won't give up the videotape without a fight and remarks that sending The Expendables after her was a really dumb move. Her insight leads Mackenzie to realize that there's a good chance of Brittnay getting hurt if The Expendables confronted her. Mackenzie even says that Trisha isn't as dumb as she seems... before Trisha gets high on smelly markers.
  • Evil Counterpart: For a small measure of evil. She's not bad, but she is on the opposing cheer squad. She's louder than the Overland Park Trisha and may even be dumber. Compare the number of times her teammates tell her to stop to the number of times Overland Park Trisha is told to stop.
  • Foil: To Trisha. Trisha is (usually) sweet, somewhat ditsy but is smarter than she looks and has her own skill set that comes in handy more often than you'd think. Trisha 2? Sweet, but genuinely an idiot.
  • Friendly Enemy: With Overland Park Trisha! In fact, they're quite a ball when they're together.
    • To that end, when the Overland Park squad wins the Cheer Nationals, Trisha chooses to chew out Ashley Katchadourian instead of Atchison's Trisha.
  • Genki Girl: Even moreso than Trisha C.
  • Heel–Face Turn: Transfers to Overland Park from Atchison in Season 3. Not that she was much of an antagonist in the first place.
  • Held Back in School: On episode 6 of "The Trisha Show", she says she was held back in the fifth grade multiple times.
  • Hidden Depths: She has the same midwife training as Deandra back in Atchison High, but not as proficient as her.
  • The Ingenue: This is what you get when you combine ditziness, never-ending optimism, and a much more pure heart compared to everyone else in the show.
  • Incorruptible Pure Pureness: When people try to have insult others for their own reasons, it never works as Trisha 2 is way to ditzy AND kind to be even remotely mean in her words. At best, she just confuses people.
  • Innocent Fanservice Girl: She doesn't think twice about stripping down when the gang winds up at a nude beach, and doesn't seem to realize she's making the others feel awkward.
  • Karmic Protection: She never really does anything truly malicious beyond what Tanya wants her to do, and the other half of her screen time is her bonding with Overland Park's Trisha. So when Atchison loses Cheer Nationals, Trisha C. decides to rant against Ashley Katchadourian while Atchison's Trisha stands on the side.
    • Subverted in the episode 59. Brittnay does spray paint her locker, but it's a lengthy message saying that, while she doesn't really know Trisha that well to call her "whore" or "bitch," she's still a little annoying so she's on thin ice.
  • Minion with an F in Evil: She made for a pretty lousy rival back when she was in Atchison.
  • Naïve Everygirl: Her ditziness and incredibly kind and helpful personality makes her this.
  • Older Sidekick: To Mackenzie in the Cheer Squad, though she's no older than 20note  as of Season 5.
  • Only One Name: We don't know her last name as of yet.
  • The Pollyanna: Very quick to go back to being her bubbly, cheerful self no matter the circumstances.
Trisha 2: (to Trisha) Hey, you're gonna be fine! I mean, I vomited onstage and I only got yelled at a little!
  • Precision F-Strike: She swears a LOT less compared to other characters. When she does, her sweet happy tone catches you off guard.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The Red to Trisha's (NOTE: The differences are as minor as the Beavis And Butthead example.) and Mackenzie's Blues.
  • Significant Name Overlap: invoked With the Overland Park Trisha. Which lead to an exchange where they had a back-and-forth of asking each other's name. Everyone refers to her as "Trisha 2" much later in the series.
  • Sixth Ranger: On the Overland Park Squad. She is literally the sixth member since she was the last person to be asked to join after Saison and Shay.
  • Smart Ball: Out of all people, she's the one who makes Mackenzie realize that sending dangerous mercenaries after her ex-best friend would be "the dumbest fucking thing she's ever done".
  • Star-Crossed Lovers: Platonic(?) example; she and Trisha C. developed a friendship despite being in feuding cheer squads.
  • The Three Faces of Eve: The Child to Tanya's Wife and Taylor's Seductress.
  • Token Good Teammate: When she was a member of the Atchison Cheer Squad.
  • Tomboy and Girly Girl: The Girly Girl to Trisha's Tomboy; Trisha prefers superheroes, while Trisha 2 is far more of a The Ingenue.
  • Vocal Evolution: Her voice gradually grew a lot higher in pitch.
  • Womanchild: Like Trisha C., it's pretty clear she hasn't matured much since elementary school. And ironically, throwaway lines reveal that she's actually the oldest among her friends thanks to being held back in school and the fact that she's the only senior.
