    Roundhouse

AKA: William Bartholomew "Billy" Wu
First Appearance: Teen Titans Special #1 (August, 2018)
"I'm Billy Wu, the dashing blond in the sick super suit. My teammates call me Roundhouse."

A large, blue, and chubby teen who is recruited into the Teen Titans by Kid Flash.

  • Achilles' Heel: His suit is what keeps his shape stable; if it's damaged, he turns into a blob (as seen during the Titans' fight against Deathstroke).
  • Amazing Technicolor Population: Has blue skin.
  • Be the Ball: Can shift into a ball of any composition for combat.
  • Big Fun: Overweight and upbeat, he can border on Fat Comic Relief at times.
  • Containment Clothing: His suit is what keeps his shape stable; if it's damaged, he turns into a blob.
  • Death by Origin Story: His sister died in the same accident that empowered him, in a factory explosion started by Robin.
  • Disney Death: At the end of his first mission with the Titans, it appears that he's died thanks to Crush's recklessness. He's back at the end of next issue, alive and well and explaining that he just ended up in China, with his phone broken so he couldn't call them; he spent a long time getting back to America, and when he got home his mother grounded him.
  • Elemental Shapeshifting: While in ball shape he can be any element he chooses like iron, fire, ice etc.
  • The Smart Guy: Pretty much a genius. Built his Roundhouse suit (though with some help from his mom); knew that simply chucking Gizmo's nuke to space by itself wouldn't work since it was too small (and therefore too light), what to do to hack into the Batcomputer, and what interrogation technique Robin was trying to use on him when looking for who stole Djinn's ring.

    Crush

AKA: Xiomara Rojas
First Appearance: Teen Titans Special #1 (August, 2018)
"I go by Crush, 'cuz that's what I do. Sometimes that gets me in trouble. But I like trouble."

The daughter of Lobo. She sets out to be a hero of her own.

  • The Big Guy: The strongest of the team and the one that solves problems with brute force.
  • Butch Lesbian: Has been in a relationship with Djinn. As for the butch part? Well, look at her!
  • Chain Pain: Her weapon is Obelus, a sentient chain that has protected her since birth.
  • Empathic Weapon; Her weapon is Obelus, a sentient chain that has protected her since birth.
  • Facial Markings: Has the same as her father.
  • Half-Human Hybrid: Is half-human and half-Czarnian, her father being The Main Man himself, Lobo.
  • In a Single Bound: Crush can make use of her powerful bodily muscles to launch herself into the air.[
  • Interspecies Romance: Develops feelings for Djinn, a genie.
  • Superman Substitute: Her origin has shades of it, with her landing on Earth as a baby and being raised by Muggle Foster Parents. Her foster parents even lied that her parents were like Superman, prompting Crush to want "to play Superman". Ironically, it was Superman's fight with Lobo that revealed to her her true heritage and set her on the path to cynicism.
  • Super-Strength: Has this due to her half-Czarnian physiology.
  • Super-Toughness: Crush was barely hurt by Gizmo blasting her point-blank with his sonic cannons.

    Djinn
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/teentitans2016_djinn.jpg
First Appearance: Teen Titans Special #1 (August, 2018)

A female genie who has existed for four millennia.

  • The Atoner: Tries to atone for all of the evil she was forced to do under the will of her masters throughout the centuries.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: The sweetest, politest and friendliest member of this incarnation of the Titans, she always tries to see the good in people, doesn't like to hurt anyone, and has great empathy even for her enemies — but push her too far and she'll remind you that she is a 4,000-year-old genie with immense power.
  • Cain and Abel: With her elder brother Elias, the djinn version of Lucifer.
  • Demonic Possession: Djinn is able to possess a host and control their mind. However, she can only perform this task with permission from her "master".
  • A Dog Named "Dog": Her brother Elias never allowed her to have a name of her own; "Djinn" simply means "genie".
  • The Empath: Djinn can sense and control the feelings and emotions of others or gain knowledge of their intentions and their mental state.
  • Interspecies Romance: She has/has had a romance with two non-genies:
    • Robin, a human.
    • Crush, a half-Czarnian.
  • Master of Illusion: She can manipulate what other people see.
  • Not Quite Flight: Djinn is capable of levitation.
  • Really 700 Years Old: The "4,000-Year-Old Teen".
  • One-Steve Limit: Djinn is also the codename of a member of the Jihad who fought the Suicide Squad.
  • Ship Tease: Has had a few of these with Robin.
  • Suspiciously Similar Substitute: A powerful magic user with a Dark and Troubled Past trying to avoid an abusive, more powerful, pure evil relative that wants to force her to help in his plans for domination? Sounds a lot like Raven.
  • Teleportation: Djinn is capable of teleporting herself at will.
  • Token Wizard: The only Teen Titan who uses magic.
  • Voluntary Shapeshifting: Djinn is able to change her appearance to look like anything she wants.
