So? You never kissed a white girl before?

AKA: Antonia "Toni" Monetti
First Appearance: Teen Titans Vol 2 #1 (October, 1996)
Abilities: Creates constructs of silver plasma.
"I'm used to fighting super-freaks and world-class maniacs. They don't seem as...real as these losers."

Argent is a descendant of the H'San Natall and she can construct solid silver energy plasma.

  • Barrier Warrior: One of the most common applications of her silver contracts is to create shields to protect herself and her allies.
  • Breakout Character: Of the Jurgens era of the Titans. She went on to stick with the team through its next iteration, and even before then, made an appearance in JLA as one of the last heroes on Earth in a Darkseid-dominated Bad Future.
  • Character Catchphrase: Says "Ewwww!" whenever her Spoiled Brat side manifests.
  • Half-Human Hybrid: Her actual father was a H'San N'Tall alien, which caused her skin to gradually become paler as she aged until finally turning silver when her powers fully manifested.
  • Imagination-Based Superpower: Argent can generate silver plasma which she can either project as energy blasts or mold into complex shapes like daggers, shields, platforms, and whips. Her future counterpart in JLA: Rock of Ages can create more complex constructs like living silver plasma creatures under her control.
  • Green-Skinned Space Babe: Her skin is bright white due to her alien parentage.
  • Not Quite Flight: She can use her powers to create silver slides and flying platforms to carry herself and others through the air.
  • Mafia Princess: Anthony Monetti turns out to run a drug-smuggling ring, hence why he's so rich. Argent is totally unaware of this at first.
  • Meaningful Name: She makes constructs out of silver and her Codename Argent is the French word for silver
  • Ms. Fanservice: She's a pretty girl who wears revealing outfits, especially her first, which made use of Impossibly-Low Neckline.
  • Power of Creation: Her power is being able to create constructs made of solid silver plasma. In JLA: Rock of Ages, Argent's powers in the future had evolved to the point that she could create an entire army of silver plasma creatures.
  • Raven Hair, Ivory Skin: Her skin has a silver sheen and she has black hair.
  • Spoiled Brat: As the daughter of a rich U.S. Senator, she grew up being pampered and spoiled and ended up developing into a very entitled brat.

    The Atom
AKA: Ray Palmer
Abilities: Able to shrink to microscopic size

See Atom personal page for more info.

    Captain Marvel, Jr.
AKA: Freddy Freeman
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/captain_marvel_jr_3.jpg

Captain Marvel, Jr. is the sidekick to Captain Marvel, receiving incredible powers from the wizard Shazam whenever he speaks his predecessor's name. His alter-ego, Freddy Freeman, is a crippled impoverished orphan who cannot walk. See Captain Marvel character sheet for more info.

    Prysm
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/prysm_02.jpg

AKA: Audrey Spears
First Appearance: Teen Titans Vol 2 #1 (October, 1996)
Abilities: Made of living crystal, flight, refracts light as a crystal.
"Sooooper-Girrrlll! Please come out! Gee, where is she? I never thought she'd be so hard to find in her own town!"

Prysm is a half-human half-H'San Natall member of the Teen Titans. Able to capture and reflect light, she later departed to space with fellow Titan Fringe.

  • All There in the Manual: According to Dan Jurgens and early promotional material for volume 2, her real name is "Audrey Spears". This is never brought up in the series itself, where she's usually referred to her by her codename or the nickname "Prys".
  • Ambiguously Human: Subverted. When Motalla takes Prysm's powers during The Lost World of Skartaris, Prysm appears as a Caucasian teenager, similar to how Argent used to look like before her powers activated.
  • Crystalline Creature: Prysm has a crystalline body that allows her to absorb and project light energy. Her skin color changes depending on her mood or the type of energy she absorbs. If deprived of sunlight to absorb, her skin will turn dark.
  • Flight: As an extended application of her energy processing powers, Prysm can fly through the force generated by the energy that she absorbs.
  • Half-Human Hybrid: The most obvious case of the four Titans in Jurgens' run. She never got to see her actual appearance until she was freed from her deprivation tank, and only wished she looked fully human. Even so, she opts to stay in space with her alien father and her mother (who was taken as a queen to the species) by the end.
  • Innocent Fanservice Girl: Prefers to go around naked most of the time due to her crystalline nature, but sometimes will wear clothing as a civilian.
  • Light 'em Up: Her crystalline body structure allows her to capture and project light.
  • Logical Weakness: Audrey must consistently absorb solar radiation or else her physical form will darken and she will grow extremely weak.
  • Refugee from TV Land: Played with. She spent most of her life living in a simulation based off a mishmash of old Earth sitcoms, living as a princess in a castle with a pet dragon and a stereotypical 1950s nuclear family. Once she's forced to live in the real world, she has a hard time adjusting to how vastly different life is to the TV show she was a part of.

    Risk

AKA: Cody Driscoll
First Appearance: Teen Titans Vol 2 #1 (October, 1996)
Abilities: Super Senses, enhanced reflexes, strength and durability
"Is this 'National Superman Devotion Day' or what? I mean, I'd be brave too if I could phase an atom bomb through my butt!"

Risk is a human/alien hybrid who received his powers on his 16th birthday.

Hotspot's concept art (back when he was to be named Slag)

AKA: Isiah Crockett
First Appearance: Teen Titans Vol 2 #1 (October, 1996)
Abilities: Flight, Generating and sensing heat.

Formerly known as Joto, he is an human-alien hybrid with the ability to sense & generate heat. His physique has drastically altered and he has taken on the name Hot Spot.

  • Back from the Dead: Coupled with Heroic Sacrifice. He dies saving the team during volume 2, but is reanimated by the H'San N'tall to fight against his team of Titans. He's fully resurrected by the end of run, thanks to Prysm helping restore his mind and soul to make him remember who he was.
  • Half-Human Hybrid: His biological father was one of the H'San N'Tall aliens, which caused him to gain his ability to generate heat.
  • Playing with Fire: Isaiah possessed the ability to generate intense thermal energy from his hands. In appearance, the power was very similar to pyrokinesis, but he could not generate actual flame. However, Isaiah's heat generation could quickly cause combustible materials to catch fire.
  • Ret-Canon: Suddenly began sporting the look and powerset of his animated counterpart (outright fire instead of heat) during the 52 mini-series and later cameos. His name was also changed to "Hotspot" as "Joto" (though meaning "heat" in Swahili) is a homophobic slur in Spanish.
