Main Characters

    In General

    Bulbasaur
Voiced By: Michael Groth

  • 11th-Hour Superpower: After spending five seasons jealous of Squirtle's mega-evolution, Bulbasaur finally gains the ability to Mega-Evolve to save him from Raichu.
  • Emotional Powers: While he finally unlocks his mega-evolve form that's way more powerful than Squirtle's, the form is only triggered under intense stress or anger like how he'd awaken it in the first place.
  • Not So Above It All: During Episode 15, while trying to get Squirtle to stop making High School Musical references, he falls prey to a reference himself.
    Squirtle: "What team?"
    Bulbasaur: "Wildcats—dammit!"

    Squirtle
Voiced By: Michael Groth

  • Absurd Phobia: Revealed in "Nightmares" to have the fear of giant-sized ukeleles (actually regular-sized since Squirtle is only 4 inches tall) but this was never mentioned again after the episode.
  • Beware the Silly Ones: While Squirtle appears to be a ditz, he can also Dynamax and kick the asses of most Pokemon who go up against the show.
  • Can't Hold His Liquor: Squirtle's small stature means his tolerance of alcohol is abysmally low as proven in "Back in Time" when half a shot turns him into the roaring, drunken life-of-the-party before knocking out cold for several days.
  • Catchphrase: "What the f*ck happened to the floor?" and its variations.
  • Mad Libs Catchphrase: Sometimes he'll deviate from his usual "What the f*ck happened to the floor" Catchphrase by replacing "floor" with something he's concerned about at the time.
  • Running Gag: Besides exclaiming his Catchphrase whenever the show changes studios with different floors, Squirtle has two ongoing gags throughout the show.
    • Once an Episode, he'll interrupt Bulbasaur before he could say the name of the show at the beginning with a Non Sequitur. This is mostly enforced since whenever they do finish the intro without incidence, Raichu shows up for revenge and instigate a huge, all-out battle.
    • Socks Umbreon in the face the moment he talks due to sneaking up behind and startling him.
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: Drops a TON of f-bombs, especially due to his catchphrase.
  • Unexplained Accent: In-universe example with Bulbasaur questioning why he had a British accent in the first episode, and subsequently for the rest of the series, due to never talking like that before. He didn't get it from his parents either as indicated by their American accents when they appeared on the show.

The first-ever guest on the show but that's all we could say about him.
  • Big Damn Heroes: Helps to save the day during the Season 1 finale.
  • Running Gag: On multiple occasions, the hosts inadvertently prevent him from getting any more screentime on the show. Whether it's pushing his scheduled appearances aside for the episode's shenanigans or interrupting his moment.

  • Required Secondary Powers: Lacks them to prevent himself from becoming The Stoner.
  • The Stoner: Is this due to lacking the Required Secondary Powers to prevent Dragonbreath's effects. Needless to say, Flygon was really out of it for his interview, talking about unrelated tangents in a slow, relaxed manner and laughing at little to no provocation.
