In General

  • "You Can't Spell Blue without you", made to celebrate the series' 25th anniversary. Not only is it catchy and upbeat, but it also brings nostalgia to see Steve, Joe and Josh remembering the adventures they had as the years went by.
  • Perhaps most awesome of all, every episode uses a different variation of the closing credits music, often matching the theme of the episode in some way when possible.
  • Even people who don't like Joe's era still recognize how catchy the opening of his "Another Blue's Clues Day" era might be. Simultaneously giving a feeling of excitement and comfort.
  • Steve's BSoD Song from the Blue's Big Musical Movie soundtrack album, "Smart As You". Probably one of the most mature songs in the series, here Steve is wistful about feeling dependent on the viewer. Its melancholic tune, bossa nova rhythm, and inspirations from "The Girl from Ipanema" make the song not only very sad but also very beautiful.

Blue's Clues

  • "Truly a Friend", Magenta's Leitmotif. Everyone at the house is so eager to have Magenta as a guest that they break into a short song and dance whenever it's discussed. The tune carries over when Magenta finally shows up.
  • The episode "Colors Everywhere!" has the song "Colors, Colors, Everywhere." In it, Joe sings about various colors, including how colors can be mixed and mixed again to make new colors, including ones he's never seen before, i.e. "Chartreuse, a color I had not seen. Looks to me like a yellowish-green. Mix blue and yellow and they're suddenly green. Then blue and green make aquarmine." This song was later redone for the remake version of the episode in Blue's Clues & You!.
  • The Alphabet Song from "The Alphabet Train." No simple ABC song to "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" for Blue's Clues. Joe got to sing his own, with at least one something or someone for every letter, and letters like X or Z weren't given the short end of the stick.
    U — ukelele or udder / V can vault a volcano / W for wagon or west / X for x-ray / Y for yo-yo / Z for zebra or zest / I'll never forget, no I'll never forget my alphabet!

Blue's Clues & You!

  • "The Snowflake Song" from "Blue's Snowy Day Surprise" sung by Creator/Leslie Odom Jr as Mo Snow. Mo Snow shows you definitely didn't know how interesting talking about snowflakes can be.
  • The Ice Cream Song", sung by Cynthia Erivo on "Josh and Blue's Ice Cream Shopee". Jingles the Ice Cream Truck shows Josh and Blue the recipe for an amazing song.
  • The Wizard of Skidoo":
    • "Welcome to Skidooland" is so catchy and enjoyable that you almost wish Josh didn't realize he and Blue were stuck in skidoo land so as not to interrupt the song.
    • "Hold Right There", sung by the Spice City guards (A.K.A: Mr Salt and Mrs Pepper). It's delightful to hear them singing as a harmonized duet.

Movies

  • "Brand New Day" from Blue's Big City Adventure is an extremely sweet way to start a movie. Seeing Josh singing about how beautiful life is and how dreams can come true while his friends encourage him is not only heartwarming but also amazing.
