Fridge Brilliance
- Why a sock in a bakery? It was one of the wrong choices about what to use to prepare banana bread. Blue threw the sock there.
- Tickety being the only one in Blue's Big Musical Movie to lose her voice due to singing so much before the music show makes more sense if you listen to the official soundtrack- Tickety gets a song at the beginning ("Today's The Big Day") that wasn't included in the movie. So of course her voice would go out before the others- she was doing a little more singing before them!
- How do Salt and Pepper generate Paprika, Cinnamon and then Sage & Ginger? They are not the seasonings, just the containers.
- Additionally, Paprika is basically a mixture of ground pepper, like her mother and grandmother she is named after a type of pepper.
- Meanwhile Cinnamon is one of the spices used to preserve food, especially before the invention of refrigerators, just like Salt.
- Sage and Ginger are different container types than the rest of the family, they are likely to be adopted.
- Mr. Salt's favorite hobby is gardening, while Mrs. Pepper's is swimming. Even this is a sign of their compatibility, as pepper is a plant and table salt is extracted from water.
- As Moona mentioned, Blue is special, even by magical puppy standards, being The Ace, a Reality Warper, who can cross the fourth wall that has its own currency with his name and face, she wasn't even a real dog, but rather an escaped character from a book. Blue is literally a rare puppy that only appears once in a blue moon.
- Of the friends in the house, Shovel and Pail are those who are least seen as having responsibilities, both in this series and in the Reboot. Tickety controls the schedules, Slippery cleans things up, Sidetable store objects, the Spice family cooks, the host takes care of Blue, and Mailbox delivers mail. Why ? Shovel and Pail are children's toys, and the only objects not to be used on a daily basis, naturally they have less things to do.
- Snail has a deep masculine voice but is referred to using feminine pronouns; in real life, Snails are hermaphrodites.
- The purple kangaroo and the other two kangaroos are the only characters from Blue's school to have a confirmed nationality, being Australian. This is because kangaroos are only found in Australia, while dogs, cats, ducks and humans can be found anywhere in the world.
Fridge Horror
- In Patience, Joe helps Periwinkle — the neighbor cat — be patient while waiting for a bird's egg to hatch. It's not very difficult to see the problem here.
Fridge Sadness
- Boo is a ghost, but he acts like a child. Is it possible that he was a child who died prematurely?
