A past battle for the ages
Be ready to smile at the awesomeness that Trigger and his allies can bring on in their adventures.
Episode 1
  • Mitsukuni Shizuma, despite being an old man who is no longer at his prime still takes up on fighting Golba by using his GUTS Spark to shoot the giant monster up-close without flinching and even makes it stagger; not bad for a human armed with a gun.
  • Despite having to face the Dark Giant Carmeara all alone, Kengo does not give up on trying to protect Trigger's dormant statue from the insane Ultrawoman even as he comes close to dying from her assaults, which buys enough time for Yuzare to appear and save him from Carmeara before he merges with the statue to transform into Ultraman Trigger.
  • Trigger's battle with Golba is a spectacular mixture of traditional suit action and CGI, with the two styles seamlessly transitioning into one another without the CGI looking overtly notable or out of place, even as the camera and lighting shift around rapidly with both combatants.
  • Carmeara and Golba have Trigger dead to rights after tag-teaming and overwhelming him, but is it the end for him? Not yet as Trigger gains the resolve to keep on fighting, eventually winning when he obtains the Zeperion Sword and uses his Zeperion Beam for the first time, forcing Carmeara to use Golba as a shield for her escape.
  • When Golba is destroyed it doesn't just disappears into an explosion like most modern Ultra Series monsters, instead a whole styrofoam model gets blown up, a technique long unused since the early Heisei days, which looks impressive as ever.
Episode 8
  • The fact that Beliarok is able to cut open portals to other dimensions and universes is kind of awesome, moreso since it managed to find his way to Haruki and Z despite ending up in a completely different universe with no immediate way of tracking his partners.
Episode 9
  • Mr. Shizuma piloting a remote-controlled Guts Wing 1 against Gargogon, getting to showcase his Ace Pilot skills from his days as a GUTS Officer, complete with the OST from Ultraman Tiga and "Trigger" playing in the background as he shows Gargorgon who's boss.
    • Gargogon fires her petrification ray at the Guts Wing, causing its left wing to slowly turn to stone and the camera feed cuts out. In response, Mr. Shizuma tears off the targeting system, closes his eyes and shoots her right in the eye, allowing Trigger to finish her off. For bonus points, he pulls the trigger just as the first line of "Trigger"'s chorus begins.
  • Trigger finishes off Gargorgon by bisecting her with the Zeperion Sword with a downwards slice.
Episode 10
  • To save Akito and Yuna from being crushed, Darrgon lifts the 20,000 ton Zaragas by one finger, whilst human-sized, and throws it back. Also counts as a Heartwarming Moment as it shows how he has come to realize that Humans Are Special.
Episode 12
  • The debut of Glitter Trigger Eternity, although Kengo is barely able to control it, it was so powerful that the Giants of Darkness are forced to retreat from its mere appearance.
Episode 14
  • Ribut's Big Damn Heroes, where he manages to gain an upper hand over Absolute Diavolo and knock down the Absolutian, showing his growth as a fighter since he first clashed with the Absolutians.
Episode 15
  • Kengo, now fully able to control the Glitter Trigger Eternity, also showcases his newest moves with much more style and uses them to weaken Diavolo greatly.
  • For the first time an Absolutian is outright obliterated and not just any, but one said to be equal in power to Tartarus. For reference, the most anyone got to defeating Tartarus was when Legend and Joneus forced the Absolutian to retreat to avoid losing. Here Ribut, Trigger and GUTS-Select with the Nursedessei manage to straight up blow Absolute Diavolo to pieces. It's too bad that Diavolo could regenerate, lessening this moment, but at least the moment proved that the Absolutians are no longer invincible.
Episode 17
  • When Nanase can't control the GUTS Falcon and ends up crashing it Kengo takes over and proves to be quite the Ace Pilot, pulling off some very complex maneuvers and breaking off Metsu-Orochi's horn, turning the tide of the battle.
  • The clash between Carmeara and Trigger Dark, while Carmeara survives and Trigger Dark ends up destabilized and detransforming back into Ignis, she is left injured enough that Darrgon has to step in, restrain her, and then tell her to cut her losses as he now knows how truly dangerous humans can be.
Episode 19Episode 20
  • The miniature work in this episode is superb, even when compared to this series' usual standards. Special mention has to go to the scene where Barriguiler peers into a window to look for Yuzare and sends everything flying with a snort, as well as the spinning shot where the GUTS Falcon encircles Barriguiler and fires at him.
  • Yuna allows Barriguiler to capture her, then uses Yuzare's powers to convince him to make a Heel–Face Turn by telling him how Hudram's been lying to him. Goes to show that she's more than capable of fighting and doesn't need Kengo and Akito to protect her.
  • Barriguiler and Trigger teaming up against Hudram, and forcing the Dark Giant to retreat.
Episode 21
  • After spending the episode separated by Aboras and Banilas' actions, as well as the whole series at odds with each other Trigger/Kengo and Trigger Dark/Ignis finally join forces to fight the dual kaiju, employing their abilities and strengths expertly to defeat their opponents, and remembering the fact that Aboras and Banilas' body fluids would kill off all life if not properly disposed of, they don't just blow the two kaiju up, they trap them inside of orbs of light before vaporizing them inside of their prisons, putting an end to their threat once and for all.
Episode 22
  • Ignis planned far ahead of everyone for his latest game, engineering a message EMP to get GUTS-Select's attention and delay them, inviting them to stop him from getting the Eternity Core, all while being held prisoner and with limited resources; then after taking Yuna captive he is able to create a diversion that the Book Dumb Kengo falls for as expected in the form of a Big Red Button that summons Mecha Musashin which leaves him with one less trouble on his path.
  • Hudram gets one when he successfully ambushes Carmeara and Darrgon and traps them with binding lines while gloating how he'll obtain the Eternity Core for himself and then make them both his slaves before walking off laughing and almost succeeding at his goal there and then.
  • Mecha Musashin is a pretty impressive new kaiju for the series, being a robotic-kabuki warrior with a clockwork robot-styled design and whose fighting abilities and versatility with nothing but a sword give Trigger a lot of trouble, it even shows that its sword can slice through mountains like butter with the energy slashes coming out of it alone.
  • GUTS-Select gets one when they actually help Trigger overcome and destroy Musashin, using their Nurse Cannon to force Musashin on the full defensive, leaving the robot open for Trigger to destroy by slicing its hands off, letting it get instantly vaporized by the Cannon laser now that it is fully defenseless.
  • Ignis/Trigger Dark's final fight with Hudram is equal amounts amazing as it is cathartic to see Ignis finally getting the chance to personally make the Dark Giant responsible for the death of his kind pay for his crimes.
    • He opens their fight by saving Yuna from being executed by Hudram, then transforms into Trigger Dark and starts overwhelming Hudram right off the bat, smacking him around with ease and knocking him into several rocky formations and throwing him into the ground
    • However, eventually Hudram starts to gain the upper hand himself thanks to his blade and comes close to finishing off Dark. But as all hope seems lost, the still-exhausted Trigger throws Mecha Musashin's blade to his ally, allowing him to even the odds and eventually stalemate Hudram though eventually ends up ovewhelmed once more... That is until he...
    • Gets the resolve to never let his friends be hurt again, especially at Hudram's hands, which lets Kengo's light aid his former enemy-turned friend by giving him part of his power, allowing Trigger Dark to combine their powers of light and darkness into one final Dark/Lightness Zeperion Beam that utterly defeats Hudram.
  • Eventually Hudram is revealed to still be alive, but too weakened to be anything but an utterly pathetic sight completely devoid of any sanity or capacity to harm thanks to his crushing loss; and then Carmeara finishes the job Ignis started by killing and devouring Hudram, thus putting an end to the genocidal maniac once and for all.
Episode 25
  • With no other choice left, Kengo is given Ignis' power of darkness and uses it to transform into his true final form: Trigger Truth, who is born out of him accepting the light and the darkness within himself rather than rejecting either as he had done as Trigger Dark (for the light) or later as Trigger (for the darkness). With his newfound power Megalothor is finally defeated in a great battle homaging the final battle of Ultraman Tiga. With Carmeara reduced to a screaming madwoman before her ultimate defeat.
  • Like in the premiere episode, Megalothor's defeat is portrayed through a styrofoam model being blown up like in the early Heisei series. And still as impressive as ever to cap off the series.
