Awesome / Rampage (2018)

• While devastating on Chicago, seeing George, Ralph, and later Lizzie all teaming up and wrecking shop while fighting the military is a true spectacle and feels very much like a multiplayer round of the games.
  • An A-10 Warthog attempts a couple of passes and Lizzie catches the thing in her teeth.
• Kate using Claire to feed George the cure by getting him to eat her. And Claire doesn't die just any death: she dies an iconic death as the woman in the red dress!
  Claire: What the hell are you doing?!
  Kate: Feeding the monster to the gorilla!
• The entire final battle sequence is one, with Davis and George (cured of his overly hostile aggression) working together to take down Ralph and Lizzie. Props to Davis in particular, as even though he's just a relatively normal guy in all this, he uses his military experience so that he could watch George's back just as well as George can watch his whenever one of them is in a pinch.
• Davis tricking Ralph into flying into Lizzie's path, leading to her tearing his head off.
• While military firearms don't seem to hurt the monstrous trio, Davis shows that they can do damage with a few shots in the right places. One is by tossing a sling of grenades into one of Lizzie's gills, actually hurting her in the process.
• Davis seemingly kills Lizzie with a pre-mortem one liner and shoots Lizzie in the face with six helicopter rockets. Okay she's still alive but the attack, along with his grenade sling from earlier, considerably slowed her down.
• The utterly epic way that George saves Davis by ramming a metal pole into Lizzie's eye and right through her head.
