• When Alice first uses her powers. Bare-Handed Blade Block? More like Barehanded Blade Crush.
• Kor, an actor, versus Snow, the ruthless murderer. He quotes the play where he was casted as The Chessmaster (And epic duel ensues):
  Kor: So if I've got this straight, you have what I want ... and I have what you need.
• Blitz gets surprisingly many of those moments:
  • Using Dragonfly's gift to turn scraptors into mincemeat.
  • Ripping Snow's arm off, taunts him, and absconds.
  • Finally transforming in a fight against Snow. Even Spindle the perpetually unhappy teenage seranith shouts a Big "YES!" when he sees that.
• Cassie versus the home invasion. Especially Cassie when a villain grabs her tail and taunts her, to which she reacts by zapping the bastard with her in-built stunner.
• Raven has learned lots of useful stuff from his Maze of Dreams (which was built from the memories of his implied creator), including how to block a virus from hijacking AI software. He uses it to help Benjamin.
• Listy in the final battle, once freed by Raven. Flood of paper is one thing, but Listy transforms into a three-headed dragon and it goes up from there. Right into chopping the arm off just as Credenza does it in the dream world.
• Credenza's magic turning the Exigo into a giant tree. Also, in the final battle against Snow, she gets the same circles of grass around her Olivia had.
• Whenever Knull manages to be brave, whether it's a sneaky act of sabotage:
  Knull: Can't blame me for not buckling up your seatbelt.
  • or this glorious speech when he openly defies Snow:
    Knull: Maybe there was no way to stop this. Meaybe there was never any way to save Lucinda... or my family... or anyone. But I could have done more than just stand by and watch innocent people be hurt because I'm a coward. Because I was scared of you. I'm still a coward. I'm scared out of my mind. But I'm through with standing by and watching. I'm done with all of this.
