Character Focus

Despite Luna being the titular character, she is seldom the focus of the episodes, similar to Clifford from the 2000s Clifford series. Her role in the episodes is to be a caring mentor figure to the trio - Andy, Carmen, and Leo. Since there are four segments for every location, the show makes sure to highlight each of the trio.

Andy's episodes tend to be about his various interests (such as photography, trains, robots, and dinosaurs) and of course, art.

  • "What's the Big Idea?" establishes Andy's love of art, as he wants to paint a mural.
  • "Space is the Place" showcases his interest in astronomy.

Carmen's episodes tend to focus on music, her relationship with Honey, overcoming outdated views, and trying new things.

  • "Hola Mariachi!" is about Carmen saving the day with a Mariachi band, which she participates in.
  • "Viva La Pasta" is about Honey being angry with Carmen for forgetting her birthday, so she attempts to make it up to the hamster by finding some pasta.
  • "Aren't We a Pair?" - Carmen is convinced that Egypt is 'ancient' and 'boring', but she unlearns this notion when she befriends an Egyptian butterfly named Leyla.
  • "Good Knight" has Carmen trying her hand at being a knight.

Leo's episodes are almost always about his many fears, despite his main motif being cooking.

  • In "Not Home On the Range", he is scared of riding horses and doesn't want to tell his uncle.
  • In "C'est Cheese", he learns about how French Cuisine Is Haughty when preparing a sandwich in Paris.
