** In the sidestory ''A Great Team'', Present Mic gives Y/N his headphones so that she's safe from his [[MakeMeWannaShout Quirk]] when he goes all out to take out a pair of robbing villains, but it means he bursts his own eardrums in the process.

* XanatosSpeedChess: There are dashes of this in the days leading up to the USJ field trip, with Y/N's precognitive warnings of the attack and the League of Villains' moles and [[spoiler:a contact who knows about Y/N.]] Y/N requests to postpone the field trip and the villains don't attack that day. On the postponed day, U.A. takes precautions and scouts out the area, but the villains bring extra reinforcements, including a BarrierWarrior villain who could block tangible attacks. [[spoiler:However, Y/N had a vision of that barrier villain moments before and tells Present Mic to get over there immediately, thinking correctly that his [[MakeMeWannaShout sonic shouts]] could get past the barrier.]]

* ForWantOfANail:
** Thanks to Y/N's warnings, the USJ field trip is scouted out and prepared for, and fewer people are injured as a result (like Aizawa not getting his head smashed in).
** [[spoiler:Forewarned of Stain's attack, Tensei emerges from the encounter injured, but unparalyzed]].
** Because of Y/N's insight into their dysfunctional rivalry, Bakugou and Midoriya are put on separate teams during their final exam. Midoriya is put with Yaoyorozu against Aizawa, while Todoroki is Bakugou's partner against All Might.
** Bakugou isn't abducted from the Summer Camp by the League of Villains. [[spoiler:[[HeroicSacrifice Y/N is]]]].

While the old hero and sidekick are catching up (and delaying Nighteye's meeting with Midoriya and Togata), Y/N goes for a walk and ends up running into Eri, [[OneDegreeOfSeparation who she knows from her time in the underworld]], and helps her escape from Overhaul]].
** Probably the biggest change Y/N's ever enacted so far involves a big helping of the ButterflyOfDoom: [[spoiler:While she is held captive by Overhaul's faction, Y/N gets the chance to successfully bushwhack his aide Nemoto Shin and keep him unconscious. As a result, he isn't around to shoot Togata with the [[DePower Quirk-Cancelling]] bullets, meaning Togata can maintain his advantage and beat Overhaul with no difficulties or interruptions. As a result of that, Nighteye never has to fight and get mortally wounded by Overhaul, successfully averting his death]].
*** A side effect of this is [[spoiler:because Midoriya never got to fight in this engagement, Nighteye is still unconvinced of his worthiness to have One For All, though Y/N is adamant that he is.]]

He only took her in due to the money she made as an underworld cage fighter, saw it as the only thing she was worth, and regularly abused and belittled her. When he meets her again after she's abducted by the League, he's fully expecting her to return to underground fighting and will not take no for an answer.]] No wonder she's terrified of him.
** [[spoiler: His ally and twin brother Tokumei is marginally better since he educated her, but barely since he made no effort to get her away from the criminal underworld, until his curiosity was piqued to see if she really could change the future.]]
* ActionGirl: Downplayed with Y/N. After she starts learning how to defend herself with Aizawa and Shinsou, it comes out that fighting is something her body is intimately familiar with, which makes sense when it's revealed that [[spoiler: she was an ex-child cage fighter in the underworld]]. Even after learning this fact, she won't choose violence as her first option, but when those she loves are in danger, [[BewareTheNiceOnes she won't hesitate to throw down]]. All that said, she still isn't the strongest or fastest around, so she makes use of Hatsume's gadgets and her CombatClairvoyance to even the odds.

** The specifics of [[spoiler: Tokumei's]] Quirk - [[spoiler: He can [[TeleportersAndTransporters teleport]] to anywhere he can see or knows the coordinates of, but he needs to erase memories (his or someone else's) to do so]].

* AmbiguouslyEvil: Tokumei, [[spoiler: Mumei's twin brother. He helped educate Y/N, his brother's ward and child cage fighter, never helping her despite knowing the pain and abuse she endured. Only when she declared she would help save the students of U.A. did he decide to help her, purely out of curiosity of if she really could change the future she foresaw, and even then he [[LaserGuidedAmnesia wiped her memories]] so he couldn't be traced from her. Much later, he helps Y/N and a newly-met Eri escape from Overhaul, for whatever his motivations]].
* AmbiguouslyTrained: If you see Y/N in her role as Class 1-A's friendly teaching assistant, you'd never know that [[spoiler: her DarkAndTroubledPast has her as a big-league underground child fighter called the Prophet]]. [[AmnesiacHero Not even she knows]].

* AndHereHeComesNow: Just as Kirishima is asking Aizawa if they're going to visit Y/N in [[spoiler: the infirmary after she is rescued]], who should turn up behind them but their other teacher, walking and well.
* AndThatLittleGirlWasMe: A variation. Y/N tells Eri, with Fatgum standing nearby, [[spoiler: about the first time she smiled during her DarkAndTroubledPast as a child cage fighter - when a complete stranger helped her when she was having a fever and gave her the kindest smile she's ever seen, inspiring her to smile too. Said rotund ex-stranger is driven to tears, and Y/N explains to Eri that Fatgum was the one who helped her.]]
* ApologizesALot: Y/N finds herself doing this a lot to Aizawa and other staff members, especially when she thinks she's not being helpful despite her Quirk. [[spoiler: Considering her DarkAndTroubledPast and the [[AbusiveParents abuse]] her guardian Mumei put her through, including threatening to kick her out if she didn't prove herself, it's not surprising.]]
** She even apologizes to Bakugou right as [[spoiler: the villains take her away during the summer camp attack after she put herself in harm's way to rescue her students]]. Bakugou ''really'' takes issue with this, and when Y/N finds out how much that apology affected him, she apologizes for apologizing.

** And ''then'' she does the same to the "Dadgum" meme after she meets Fatgum, and notices how he dotes on his interns Kirishima and Amajiki. She even compares Fatgum and Aizawa squabbling over spending time with her after [[spoiler: she is rescued from Overhaul's faction]] like two divorced parents fighting over custody.

* BarrierWarrior: One new villain arriving at the USJ attack has this ability, and for some reason, [[TheDreaded just thinking about him scares the crap out of Y/N]]. His name is Mumei Kekkai, and [[spoiler: turns out he's her guardian]].
* BerateAndSwitch: During [[https://thelazyhermits.tumblr.com/post/190432911144/a-hero-in-their-eyes the Wild Wild Pussycat's visit to the U.A. dorms]], Kouta starts pulling on Y/N's cheeks and calling her a liar. When he is asked to explain himself, he says, [[BrattyHalfPint in his usual sullen way]], that Y/N told him that [[ImNotAHeroIm she wasn't a hero]], yet the actions she took during the summer training camp to save him, Midoriya, and [[spoiler: sacrificing her freedom to prevent her students being taken by the League of Villains]] clearly say otherwise.

** Gran Torino and Aizawa pull this [[spoiler: to save Y/N from being crushed between Mumei's [[BarrierWarrior barriers]] - Aizawa to cancel his Quirk, Gran Torino to knock him out]].

* BloodKnight: Rappa of the Eight Precepts of Death is this as in canon. [[spoiler: Knowing him from her time in the underworld, Y/N uses him to pass a message on to Fatgum and Kirishima after she was kidnapped by the Precepts - that if he tells them that she's counting on them to save her, they'll be motivated enough to give him the fight of his life]].

** If Y/N tries to outright tell anyone else what she foresees, and if the vision is "important" enough, she gets a splitting headache, and as such has to limit herself to small words. This pain can get erased by [[PowerNullifier Eraserhead's Quirk]], but doing so also removes the memories of the vision. [[spoiler: There is an apparent correlation between the pain she receives and the importance and [[YouCantFightFate inevitability]] of the event]].
** [[spoiler: If Y/N manages to make a big enough change to the future seen in her visions, [[ImHavingSoulPains all the pain from the injuries that would have been suffered by others is inflicted onto her instead]] (though no actual damage). * BoxingLessonsForSuperman: Y/N starts exercising and practicing her fighting skills along with Shinsou, and she steps up after [[spoiler: she gets kidnapped by Stain]].

* ChekhovsGun: One time after talking to Aoyama, Y/N gets the idea to get Hatsume to make glitter bombs for her, both to work with his Quirk and as potential distractions just in case. During the Summer Camp arc, Y/N realizes that [[spoiler: the marble-shaped bombs look very similar to the prisons generated by the villain Mr. Compress, allowing her to use them as decoys to get him to release his prisoners.]]

* TheChosenOne: Midoriya is this even in this fic, as Y/N had visions of him as a young kid throughout her childhood, and his determination to become a hero even while Quirkless helped inspire her [[spoiler: through her time as an underground cage fighter]]. When Nighteye expresses his [[TheChosenZero doubts]] about Yagi's choice of successor, Y/N wastes no time defending her student.

Of special mention are Tokoyami and Bakugou, who were the ones Y/N rescued by [[HeroicSacrifice putting herself in the line of fire and allowing herself to be kidnapped]].]]
** In particular, when Midoriya and Bakugou almost come to blows over [[spoiler: Bakugou's guilt, Y/N interrupts their fight and then apologizes to Bakugou herself, for not being strong enough to save him without putting herself in danger, for making him watch her disappear, and for not recognizing that he was putting on a strong front and was hurting inside. This interaction goes miles in helping Bakugou absolve himself of his own guilt.]]
** Y/N also has a similar talk with Monoma at the end of the Joint Training Arc when, during his match, she hears him blame Midoriya and Bakugou for not [[spoiler: rescuing her during the summer camp invasion]].

** It turns out [[spoiler: this was her main selling point as [[GladiatorGames an underground child cage fighter]] - the kid fighter known as the Prophet was a big crowd pleaser as a fighter who could see her opponent's moves before they made them.]]
* ComicallySmallBribe: [[spoiler: After Y/N and Eri are kidnapped by Overhaul's faction, an assisting Toga [[SpannerInTheWorks offers to give Y/N her gadgets back to give them a chance to escape]], if she gets to keep the cat-shaped backpack they were in. Given that Toga ''despises'' Overhaul for killing Magne, and doesn't exactly want to do this anyway, it's not unjustified.]]

** The first time, she blacked out while [[spoiler: held hostage by the League of Villains]], after [[spoiler: averting the painful removal of Tokoyami's Quirk at All for One's hand]]. She only wakes up two days later.
** The second time, [[spoiler: she successfully averts Sir Nighteye's death, but collapses in agony moments after. This time, she wakes up 10 days later, and the author mentions that if it wasn't for Eri's reversal Quirk, her coma might have lasted for much longer]].

* CryIntoChest: Y/N does this to Aizawa after [[spoiler: she is rescued from the League of Villains]].

** The first time, [[spoiler: she is teleported from buying groceries to meet Stain after he expresses interest in her]].
** Then during the Summer Camp, [[spoiler: the League of Villains captures her after she thwarts their attempt to capture her students]].
** And [[RuleOfThree then]] [[spoiler: she ''and'' Eri become this when Toga abducts them from the hospital (she was supposed to just take Eri, but Y/N refused to leave her alone). This time though, she manages to convince Toga to give her back her gadgets and allow her to devise a counterplan.]]

** After an incident where [[spoiler: she forgets a vision because she received it underwater and nearly drowned as a result]], Y/N involuntarily apologizes to Aizawa for being useless, promises to be better next time, and asks if she can still stay at U.A. Though Aizawa firmly affirms that the school values Y/N for more than her Quirk and that they'll never kick her out, the fact that she made those statements by habit, as well as other harsh words bubbling up from her memory, paints her unknown past in an even uglier light.
** Chapter 33 [[TheReveal gives Y/N some answers]] - or at least from [[spoiler:All For One and the barrier villain Mumei's perspective - Y/N came from the criminal underworld, where she was a child cage fighter named the Prophet and [[GladiatorGames fought other children for sport and entertainment]], and she was one of the best due to her CombatClairvoyance. Mumei was her manager and caretaker, who only did so for the money she made and [[AbusiveParents habitually abused her otherwise]]. He left her education up to his twin brother Tokumei, who was the one who left her at U.A. to see if she could really change the future she could predict]].

* DefiantToTheEnd: [[spoiler: During All Might and All for One's clash, Y/N stands up to Mumei and fights him when he tries keeping her from leaving, and when he manages to trap her between his barriers, she tells him to his face that she'll never listen to him again and she makes her own fate.]]

* TheDogBitesBack: [[spoiler: Toga Himiko doesn't like the Eight Precepts of Death after they killed one of her villain friends Magne, but Tomura ordered her to work with them anyway. As a result, she has no qualms about helping a captive Y/N throw a major wrench in their plans]].
* DoNotCallMePaul: Inverted; when Y/N first meets [[spoiler: Fatgum]], he recognizes her as [[spoiler: the underground child cage fighter]] named [[spoiler: the Prophet]]. An unnerved Y/N quickly says that that's not her name anymore.

* DramaticIrony: During ''The Two Heroes'' movie, a main reason why Y/N decides to [[spoiler: confront David Shield directly about his fake villain plan to steal back his prototype Quirk Enhancer instead of telling anyone else]] is that she thinks that [[spoiler: there's no way the professor would hire real villains for this scheme due to the danger to everyone]].
* TheDreaded: The silver-haired BarrierWarrior villain to Y/N; even just seeing him in her visions is enough to give her a panic attack. It later comes out that [[spoiler: his name is Mumei Kekkai and he was Y/N's guardian and manager while she was an underworld child cage fighter, and he was ''[[AbusiveParents not]]'' nice to her]].

The guilt weighs heavily on him and Dark Shadow for ages until]] Y/N finally talks to him about it.

* FightsLikeANormal: With the most her Quirk can contribute to a fight being CombatClairvoyance, Y/N best defends herself with her bare hands, which she is plenty capable of [[spoiler: due to her background as a cage fighter]]. That said, she doesn't have Aizawa's supernal skill in martial arts, so she supplements it with Hatsume's {{Trick Bomb}}s, a [[WaterGunsAndBalloons supercharged water pistol]], and [[PowerFist kinetic gloves]].

** Fatgum gives Y/N this permission after their first meeting ([[spoiler: or rather their second meeting since he saved her once while she was a child-fighter in the criminal underworld and he was undercover]]).

* FoodAsBribe: Y/N offers Awase from Class 1-B cookies to get him to use his powers to help her fuse a tracking device to a clip that she can use [[spoiler: in case she gets kidnapped again]].

* FuzzTherapy: [[SpeaksFluentAnimal Kouda's]] contribution to cheer Y/N up after [[spoiler: her near-drowning incident the other day]] is to give her the cat army she asked for one time. It is very well-received, and she even invites Shinsou to join in.

** Dark Shadow delivers one to Y/N [[spoiler: when she sees the class after getting kidnapped by the League, specifically after rescuing Tokoyami and Bakugou]]. It's quickly followed by a GroupHug dogpile.
*** Then it happens again after [[spoiler: she is kidnapped for the third time and put in a coma after being rescued]]. It plays out exactly the same way both times, even ending in Bakugou berating his classmates for dogpiling her and Shouji pulling her out.

** And Kirishima gives another one to Y/N [[spoiler: after she awakes from her drawback-induced coma]].
** After Y/N messages Shinsou upon [[spoiler: returning to U.A. from the hospital after getting kidnapped for a third time and put into a coma afterwards]], Shinsou runs all the way to the dorm and hugs her as soon as he sees her.

* GoodPowersBadPeople: Mumei Kekkai has a BarrierWarrior Quirk, but is undeniably evil. [[spoiler: As his unwilling ward and child fighter Y/N knows [[AbusiveParents all too well]]]], one of his go-to tactics is to pin and crush his victims between his barriers and the nearest hard surface.

** Y/N finds herself in one with all of the girls of 1-A (and a few guys) after she returns from [[spoiler: convalescing after taking on all the pain from the averted USJ attack]].
*** And then a second one with dogpiling happens when she returns [[spoiler: after being kidnapped by the League of Villains]]. Quickly followed by a third.
*** Chapter 46 is practically full of them, after [[spoiler: Y/N is rescued from kidnapping for the ''third'' time.]]
** While Aizawa is hugging Y/N after [[spoiler: she is rescued from the League]], Present Mic decides to joins in. Aizawa orders him off before he breaks his arm, while Y/N is giggling unashamedly.
* GutFeeling: While at the Summer Camp, Y/N can't help feeling somewhat uneasy, as if she's seen the forest before and it's nothing good. [[spoiler: Of course the readers know what is about to happen, but she has seen the forest before - in a dangerous vision that was erased from her mind because she was drowning in a pool when she had it.]]
* HeelRealization: Bakugou finally realizes how big of a bully he'd been to Midoriya, after watching [[spoiler: Y/N get abducted by her old guardian Mumei, and realized the look of [[TheDreaded terror]] in her eyes when she looked at him was the exact same look Midoriya got whenever he looked at Bakugou himself]]. This is even more poignant due to a previous conversation where Bakugou claimed he wasn't a bully despite all of Y/N's evidence to the contrary. Moreover, the fact that [[AllLovingHero Midoriya]] doesn't hate him even after all that he's done has left his worldview majorly askew and him confused if he's a hero or a villain and more pissed off than ever. Y/N promises to help him work through it.

** [[spoiler: Just as the League of Villains is about to leave the Summer Camp with their captives, Y/N executes a ploy that manages to put her captured students out of their reach, but leaves herself to be taken instead.]]

* HomeSweetHome: [[spoiler: After learning that she came from the criminal underworld as a child cage fighter and after being rescued from the League of Villains]], Y/N declares that there's no place like home, at U.A. surrounded by her cute, smiling students.
* HopeBringer: Y/N outright calls [[TheChosenOne Midoriya]] this for her; ever since she started getting visions about him, his endless optimism and determination to be a hero despite being Quirkless inspired her to keep going despite her DarkAndTroubledPast. When she got the vision about the USJ attack, he was the one who inspired her to stand up, take the first step, and try and change the visions instead of accepting it like all her others before, which piqued [[spoiler: Tokumei's]] curiosity to give her that chance.

Given that Toga ''despises'' Overhaul for killing Magne, and doesn't exactly want to do this anyways, it's not unjustified.]]

* CoolTeacher: Y/N qualifies in spades, giving out stickers and sweets for jobs well done, helping tutor struggling students, and comforting them when they're struggling. When the class moves into the U.A. dorms with her, she even joins them in their video game contests or in their cooking endeavors.

* DeclarationOfProtection: Y/N often makes these in her own thoughts whenever she meets a promising young student. Be they from 1-A like Midoriya, Tokoyami or Iida, or from other classes like Shinsou, Hatsume, Amajiki or Togata, she swears that she will do whatever it takes to protect their futures.

** When Class 1-B decided that the best way to find out about the new girl hanging around Class 1-A is to kidnap her and interrogate her, they really didn't think much beyond that. To cap it off, Vlad King told them to figure out Y/N's deal themselves to teach them how to plan better; shows how well that worked out.
** In ''The Two Heroes'' movie, Midoriya is flustered when Y/N asks him how he'll justify to his classmates why he was invited to I-Island, since he can't tell them about his connection to All Might. Y/N helps him out by suggesting they tell anyone who asks that Y/N's invitation allowed her a plus-one, and she took Midoriya since his never-ending supply of trivia makes him a perfect tour guide.

* DisappointedInYou: Y/N giving the "disappointed teacher" talk to Mineta after his perverted antics happen again at the Summer Camp is what finally seem to get through to him that his antics are just not acceptable. Y/N wonders if she should've had this talk with Mineta sooner instead of simply shutting him down each time.
* TheDogBitesBack: [[spoiler: Toga Himiko doesn't like the Eight Precepts of Death after they killed one of her villain friends Magne, but Tomura ordered her to work with them anyway. As a result, she has no qualms in helping a captive Y/N throw a major wrench in their plans]].

* EmbarrassingOldPhoto: Turns out Ingenium has a whole album of them on his phone of his little brother (like little Tenya in a tuxedo or a robot costume), and loves to share them at any opportunity, much to Tenya's dismay and Y/N's glee.

On the other there's his new teaching assistant Y/N, [[CoolTeacher who is always ready to help out struggling students and reward them with smiles, stickers and sweets]].

* GroinAttack: Averted; Y/N foresees the one that [[BrattyHalfPint Kouta]] would give Midoriya when they first meet, and pulls the latter out of the way just in time.

* HopeBringer: Y/N outright calls [[TheChosenOne Midoriya]] this for her; ever since she started getting visions about him, his endless optimism and determination to be a hero despite being Quirkless inspired her to keep going despite her DarkAndTroubledPast. * RetiredBadass: The side story ''Like Minds'' show that All Might is still this after his retirement. Even in his weakened form, he doesn't hesitate to punch out a couple of villains, and even manages to knock one out.

* ShipTease: The U.A. Cultural Festival has Y/N getting an interested visitor - the Pro Hero Hawks. She meets him when he offers to [[{{Kimodameshi}} guide her through]] the General Education's HauntedHouse, chats with her throughout the festival, and ends his visit by giving her his number and a kiss on her hand. Y/N is left with a LuminescentBlush while a few spectators (like Shinsou, Aizawa and Fatgum) are fuming.

** Principal Nedzu hasn't had as many fluffy scenes with Y/N as compared to Aizawa, Yagi or Yamada, but he's probably done the most to improve Y/N's lot in life behind the scenes, from hiring her as a teaching assistant, to getting her official identification documents to make up for her missing past, and even offering to help further her own education to become a licensed teacher at U.A.

* ThirdPartyStopsAttack: Bakugou and Midoriya are just about to get into a scrap after Midoriya decides to speak on Bakugou's level with his fists, when they are both blasted off their feet by Y/N's super water pistol.

* TrickBomb: To help keep herself safe in the event of another kidnapping, Y/N has taken to carrying around some special non-lethal bombs made by Hatsume, specifically the [[SmokeOut smoke]], glitter and [[KnockoutGas sleep gas]] versions.

* WeirdnessMagnet: After the Stain incident, Y/N wonders if Midoriya has a secondary Quirk that turns him into a magnet for trouble, and if he affected her with it. There's a reason Aizawa often calls her "trouble magnet".

* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: Y/N is really bad with {{Horror}}. During the Cultural Festival, she struggled to go into the Gen Ed class's haunted house despite wanting to see Shinsou's event, but managed with Hawks's help. In the ''Kindred Spirits'' sidestory, during a {{Kimodameshi}} alongside Bakugou, it comes out that [[spoiler: Mumei forced her to watch horror movie marathons since he thought her terrified reactions were hilarious, even using them as punishment]].

* XanatosSpeedChess: There are dashes of this in the days leading up to the USJ field trip, with Y/N's precognitive warnings of the attack and the League of Villains' moles and [[spoiler: a contact who knows about Y/N.]] Y/N requests to postpone the field trip, and the villains don't attack that day. On the postponed day, U.A. takes precautions and scouts out the area, but the villains bring extra reinforcements, including a BarrierWarrior villain who could block tangible attacks. [[spoiler: However, Y/N had a vision of that barrier villain moments before and tells Present Mic to get over there immediately, thinking correctly that his [[MakeMeWannaShout sonic shouts]] could get past the barrier.]]

** Y/N then becomes the receiver of one talk after the Stain arc, [[spoiler: where she was kidnapped by Stain]]. Y/N apologizes to Tenya, Todoroki and Midoriya for being a burden who couldn't defend herself and resolves to train to become someone they can rely on, but Todoroki tells her that she is already reliable, and that the whole class relies on and respects her more than she knows.
** When Aoyama comments on how he sometimes dislikes his control over his [[ChestBlaster Quirk]] and how it can hurt him sometimes, Y/N commiserates with him and compliments on how far he has come and how he hasn't given up.
** Comforting the agoraphobic Amajiki Tamaki after he had a bad day at his internship, and reminds him to think of the good parts of his days to cheer himself up, and that his company has already made her day better.

* InnocentCohabitation: Due to her lost memories, Y/N stays in Aizawa's apartment for the first several chapters until the on-campus dorms on U.A. are completed.

* BalefulPolymorph: The side story ''A (Not So) Purr-fect Outing'' has a random kid's Quirk turn Aizawa and Shinsou into cats, leaving Y/N to take care of them until it wears off.

** In the sidestory ''A (Not So) Purr-fect Outing'', Y/N gets a vision of a three-eyed assassin named Para explaining her paralyzing gaze Quirk to Y/N while she's stalking forward to kill a [[BalefulPolymorph cat-ified]] Aizawa. In contrast, once the fight begins for real and Y/N decides to fight with her eyes closed, she doesn't explain her CombatClairvoyance to Para when the assassin is taken off-guard.

* ThirdEye: The Quirk of Para, an assassin with a paralyzing gaze and a grudge against Aizawa. She appears in the sidestory ''A (Not So) Purr-fect Outing'', where she takes advantage of [[BalefulPolymorph Aizawa being turned into a cat]] to get her revenge, but she doesn't count on Y/N intervening.

** Class 1-A descends into hysterics when Y/N says that [[spoiler: Dark Shadow won the compliment sticker today - by sending bird puns and emojis via Tokoyami's phone]]. Even Iida is reduced to {{Corpsing}}.
** All of All Might's colleagues get a laugh when Y/N starts making Dad jokes at his expense, especially when she mentions a rumor that Midoriya was his illegitimate son. This time Aizawa is the one {{Corpsing}}.

* PervertRevengeMode: Happens any time Y/N gets a vision of one of Mineta's perverted antics, and unerringly gets on his case about it, whether it's her scolding him, enlisting [[BoundAndGagged Sero's help]], or blasting him with her water pistol. While this does endear her to the girls of Class 1A, Mineta's unrepetant perversion ensures that it only scares him off for a short period before returning to his habit. It doesn't actually stick until she actually has a DisappointedInYou talk with him.

* PervertRevengeMode: Happens any time Y/N gets a vision of one of Mineta's perverted antics, and unerringly gets on his case about it, whether it's her scolding him, enlisting [[BoundAndGagged Sero's help]], or blasting him with her water pistol. Though she manages to scare him off for a while, it doesn't actually stick until she actually has a DisappointedInYou talk with him.

* ComicallySmallBribe: [[spoiler: After Y/N and Eri are kidnapped by Overhaul's faction, an assisting Toga [[SpannerInTheWorks offers to give Y/N her gadgets back to give them a chance to escape]], if she gets to keep the cat-shaped backpack they were in.]]

* NotSoDifferent: One of the components of Bakugou's HeelRealization - recognizing that [[spoiler: the terrified look Y/N gave to the barrier villain Mumei before he abducted her was the exact same one Midoriya got around Bakugou himself]].

** After Bakugou's HeelRealization that he was nothing more than a bully to Midoriya, [[NotSoDifferent just like]] [[spoiler: the barrier villain that terrified Y/N in her past]], while Y/N doesn't absolve him of responsibility, she does tell him that unlike [[spoiler: her old guardian Mumei]], he has finally recognized his faults and is at least trying to change.

* UnfamiliarCeiling: Quoted directly in Y/N's narration when she first wakes up in U.A.'s infirmary.

* BoxingLessonsForSuperman: Y/N starts exercising along with Shinsou, and she steps up after [[spoiler: she gets kidnapped by Stain]].

** Chapter 33 [[TheReveal gives Y/N some answers]] - or at least from [[spoiler:All For One and the barrier villain Mumei's perspective - Y/N came from the criminal underworld, where she was a child fighter named the Prophet [[GladiatorGames who fought other children for sport and entertainment]], and she was one of the best due to her CombatClairvoyance. Mumei was her manager and caretaker, who only did so for the money she made. He left her education up to his twin brother Tokumei, who was the one who left her at U.A. to see if she could really change the future she could predict]].

** In the side story ''Picture Perfect'', Hawks says as much when Y/N calls him over to help with a modelling job that she herself is replacing Midnight in, she was so focused in helping the designer make his shoot a good one that she never considered how it would look for her and Hawks to be modelling ''wedding attire'' together, especially considering the ShipTease the two have shared since then and the overprotectiveness of her colleagues and students.

* NoSympathy: When Y/N gets a vision about Present Mic's experience during Class 1-A's year-end exam (which would involve him getting swarmed with bugs), she doesn't tell him what she saw (since that would be unfair to the students he'll be facing) and instead just reassures him that he'll be fine. [[NothingIsScarier This doesn't comfort him in the least]], much to the rest of the faculty's amusement; Aizawa is particularly unapologetic.

* ShootTheFuelTank: How Y/N finally wins over the villain Yobi during the ''Two Heroes'' movie - blasting her malfunctioning JetPack with her [[EnergyWeapon laser bracelet]], producing an explosion worthy of any of Hatsume's malfunctioning babies.
