Should we even bother having spoilers in regards to old Hoxton? Overkill isn't keeping it a secret anymore and it's pretty much a It Was His Sled moment.

Under 'Bribing your way to victory', there's text that explains how the Sniper Pack manages to avoid falling under its umbrella — and the example ends claiming the Thanatos (from the Sniper Pack) is a straight example.
Which is it? Needs discussed — one person can't make this call. Personally, I think it averts it quite nicely — the Thanatos is a high-threat killer and, more than any other sniper rifle available, struggles to clear a significant amount of any given crowd without smart, skilled use. Anything you point it at dies, but it doesn't stay loaded long enough to do that /often/ enough to call it 'overpowered'.
