You know, I think there's a quote from the V for Vendetta movie that would be pretty good here. I can't remember how it goes, but it had something about the title character not having eyes.

Why should you know that? And what about if you don't know the name? Calling Fan Myopia here.
Should we rename this trope to something else? The Pixies are an influential artist, but haven't named a trope yet: maybe "Broken Face" would be a good name? Or it could be a page quote.
