Double posting because I had to go back and move the pages I missed.

As a general reminder, please keep in mind that we can't do page moves on existing target pages. They have to be cut beforehand. I had to cut The Amazing Spider-Man (2018) so that I can move the contents of The Amazing Spider-Man (Nick Spencer) to it .

Also, since it's been a while since a mod checked in to move pages, please remember to do all the wicks and indexing yourselves.

Might be crossed wires on my side, but the Hydra move isn't as expected.

I was asking for the Madame Hydra comic book page (which is a Character page, not a a work - no such comic) to move out of ComicBook into Characters as Characters.Marvel Comics Madame Hydra, but remain as a redirect to the wider Characters.Marvel Comics Hydra page.

Instead, we seem to have moved Characters.Marvel Comics Hydra to Characters.Marvel Comics Madame Hydra ?

Sorry, I think I fixed it the right way this time. I just looked at the history of Marvel Comics Madame Hydra and it only had 5 edits so it could have been done manually instead of mod moved. I am not sure if I'd consider those edits useful enough to move over.

I think that's a misunderstanding of the move process on my part, tbh.

The main aim was to get something that's not a comic, and has never been a comic (or any kind of work), out of the ComicBook namespace, on the basis that apparently we can't simply cut it due to inbounds.

But if the move process always creates a redirect in the old name and namespace, even when there are no wikilinks to the page, I don't think that achieves much.

Back to the wider question about how we can close down pages for nonexistent works (or fan names) if they're not cut before the inbounds rise too high, I guess.
