- Awesome Music:
- Monoe regularly used GYARI's catchy Jazz songs in her streams.
- "We Are VOX Monsters" is an infectiously catchy pop duet between Pikamee and Tomoshika.
- As a farewell gift to the soon-to-graduate Pika, Ryugon released a surprise cover of halyosy's "Sakura Rain", and his smooth voice arguably makes the song even more bittersweet than it already was.
- Common Knowledge:
- Lots of people tend to assume that VOMS is a company like hololive or Nijisanji, but this is very much not the case. According to Pikamee, the talents sign contracts with GYARI that allow them to use his art, models, and music as long as they "don't do anything stupid". The members of VOMS are also basically ordinary people who happen to do VTubing as a hobby or secondary source of income, as opposed to the companies mentioned above who treat it much more seriously and often lean towards pre-established internet figures for their talents.
- Pikamee's graduation was not caused by the Hogwarts Legacy controversy, nor was she "bullied into graduating", as many claim. A statement was issued showing that she and GYARI were in talks about her graduation for a good few months before the controversy occurred, and she would've likely announced her graduation around that time anyway, even if she hadn't canceled her Hogwarts Legacy stream and extended her hiatus, as March is the end of Japan's fiscal year. On the other hand, the controversy did rob fans of the extra time they could have spent with her.
- Fan Nickname:
- "Alien Kettle Shark" for Pikamee, thanks to her antenna, Signature Laugh, and mouth full of sharp teeth. Sometimes, it is shortened to just "Kettle", because of her laugh.
- With Anglophone fans, many condense Tomoshika's name to simply "TMSK".
- Miuneru gained the nickname "Grandma/Granny" after being given a brain age of 70 by Dr. Kawashima.
- Ryugon is affectionately called "Giga Chad" for his skills at games and Hot-Blooded personality, and in a similar vein to Tomoshika has his last name abbreviated to simply "DMJ" on occasion.
- Friendly Fandoms: VShojo fans are on good terms with VOMS fans due to frequent collabs between KSon and Pikamee.
- Gateway Series: Because of its significantly smaller member count, VOMS tends to be many people's first experience with VTubers. The fact that Pikamee happens to be bilingual is another reason why VOMS is often a starting point since a majority of VTubers tend to primarily speak Japanese.
- Germans Love David Hasselhoff: Everyone in VOMS is popular, but Pikamee, in particular, has a sizeable English-speaking fanbase, owing to her fluency in the language.
- Harsher in Hindsight:
- Gyari uploaded the first intro for VOMS (featuring Pikamee, Tomoshika, and Monoe) to his Youtube channel. He has never taken the video down, and it prominently features the original cast, which makes it incredibly sad for fans of Jitomi Monoe to see her debut alongside Pikamee and Tomoshika, knowing she is gone now. It remains one of the few videos Gyari did not privatize or remove after Monoe's leaving.
- Pikamee has stated that she is a really sensitive person who felt insecure whenever something negative would appear on her chat. On February 7, 2023, Pikamee was forced to cancel her anticipated Hogwarts Legacy stream after being the victim of targeted bombardment, bullying, and harassment both in her pre-stream chat and on Twitter due to the franchise creator's notoriety, which also caused her to extend her at-the-time hiatus.
- Heartwarming Moments:
- Tomoshika and Ryugon rang in 2022 by promising each other they would quit smoking, even setting up a Twitter Space to chat with their fans and have one last cigarette together. While their punishments for relapsing are rather humorous (Tomoshika has to record herself smoking and post it online, and Ryugon has to eat a bowl of bugs, something he already does rather regularly), it's nice to know how much trust they gained in each other in such a short period.
- During the Hogwarts Legacy controversy and the announcement of Pikamee's graduation, she received a ton of support from not only her fans and friends in VOMS, but outside Vtubers as well. This include her close friends Kson and Silvervale, Shylily, Tenma, Chisaka Airi and Pipkin Pippa, Ike Eveland, Mori Calliope, Airani Iofifteen Oren Kaga, Elira Pendora and Pomu Rainpuff, the last of whom broke down crying. Many fans found it emotionally bittersweet over the fact that Pikamee will graduate knowing that she received a ton of support and love and that she will end on a high note rather than being overshadowed by the events prior.
- Memetic Mutation:
- "We love Pikamee... as a friend."Explanation
- "I love Pika as my girlfriend and she has boing boing."Explanation
- Tear Jerker:
- Just shy of VOMS's one-year anniversary, Monoe was released from the group due to a "breach of contract". Pikamee and Tomoshika both talked on the subject in brief, and both were heartbroken over Monoe's firing.
- In February 2021, Pikamee went on hiatus to care for her beloved cat, Socks, who had fallen seriously ill. After returning in March, she went into detail of what happened: the vet had given Socks an estimated ten days to live. Thankfully, with help from Mamamee and her fans' donations, she was able to get the medicine to help Socks pull through and start recovering.
- Hitting the rare trifecta of Tear Jerker, heartwarming, and funny, Tomoshika called Pikamee during a birthday stream to wish her a happy birthday. Pika responds by giving Tomoshika a heartfelt thanks for her friendship and support throughout the year. Tomoshika's voice starts to waver in her responses to Pika as she asks if she's trying to make her cry. They reminisce over how the year has gone, with Pika again thanking Tomoshika for all she's done; Tomoshika finally loses it, thanks Pika back through tears and says, "I love you." Pikamee decides to clarify, "As a friend?", to which Tomoshika replies "Of course! Don't misunderstand!".
- During a playthrough of the Genocide route of Undertale, Tomoshika reaches the fight with Papyrus, a character she loved interacting with in the normal route of the game. When she ultimately kills him in a single shot and watches him disappear, she straight-up drops the controller in shock and almost immediately starts bawling in guilt. She similarly breaks down during Sans' final words of, "I'm going to Grillby's. Papyrus, do you want anything?"
