Trivia / VOMS Project

  • Colbert Bump:
    • The "Let's Kill The Ho!" clip from a Minecraft session between Pikamee and Tomoshika attracted a lot of popularity from outside of Japan. Pikamee, realizing how this was her big international break, retitled the archived stream of the session to reference the meme.
    • Ryugon got a small but noticeable bump in subscribers after he was interviewed by Kson On Air on her morning show GMMF. Pikamee, likewise, got another bump after she featured on GMMF.
  • One of Us: Nick Apostolides, the voice of Leon Kennedy in Resident Evil 2 (Remake), became a big fan of Pikamee after watching her streams and became a sub, himself, in celebration of her birthday.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes:
    • After Monoe's graduation, her vods and other materials were all privated. However, her fans managed to grab copies of her vods and uploaded them to an archive channel so that they would be preserved.
    • Similarly, when Pikamee's announced her graduation, it was also announced that all of her vods and videos would be removed at her request. As with Monoe, her fans set to work archiving everything they could before it was taken offline, though given that Pikamee had been active for over three times as long as Monoe and had been a prolific streamer in that time, the volume of videos that needed to be collected was significantly larger. However, despite taking up several terabytes of space, some of her fans succeeded in gathering complete archives of her works. At time of writing, none of these have been uploaded to YouTube, but copies of the archive videos have been circulated amongst her fanbase.
  • Trolling Creator: GYARI is highly supportive of everyone in VOMS, although he likes to tease them from time to time, such as when he had a laugh at Pikamee suffering from success.
    Pikamee: Don't "pien" me, Mamatori!
    • GYARI managed to get one over on Ryugon before he even debuted. According to Pikamee, part of the application process was a simple question of what was an applicant's favorite Pokémon; Ryugon put down Garchomp, a Ground-Dragon. Ryugon did end up with a Ground-Dragon as an inspiration...just not Garchomp, it was Flygon instead (albeit with a star on his nose like a Garchomp).
