  • Crosses the Line Twice: In the original version's take on Oingo and Boingo's attempt on the group, The Adaptation Expansion that Oingo (who is disguised as Jotaro) gives about him and Boingo's dead mother is pretty sad. Then Hitomi asks about if "Jotaro" has called his mother yet, and when he says he hasn't, she lectures him on why he should. Cue "Jotaro" bawling about missing his mom after a cutaway, with a surprised Hitomi unaware of why he has such a reaction. Dark? Yes. Hilarious? Also yes, especially if you try to imagine Matthew Mercer or Daisuke Ono doing Jotaro bawling, an emotion that Oingo didn't display while already conveying emotions Jotaro wouldn't usually show while disguised as him.
Hitomi: ... And that is why you should call your mother back home.
(Oingo disguised as) Jotaro (Bawling): I'm sorry! I miss my mama!!
  • Harsher in Hindsight:
    • In the original version, while Hitomi's time with Oingo disguised as Jotaro before they enter the car is Played for Laughs for as much as it can be, the part where "Jotaro" ends up bawling over missing his mother can end up being sadder after Crazy Diamond's Demonic Heartbreak briefly shows in a flashback that Oingo and Boingo had an abusive father. Because their mother is nowhere to be seen in that moment, it's likely she's dead in that story too. Essentially, the status of each parent in both works compliment each other, making it easy to imagine them be the case in one another.
    • Also in the original version, the flashback of Joseph and Caesar in chapter 38, which also shows Fredo has Fredo shooting a gangster under his commandnote  dead in his anger, despite letting Caesar and Joseph go after Fredo's bitter falling out with Caesar. This can take a much darker light once Lacrime D'oro del Vento Aureo shows in its own flashback chapters what kind of person Fredo became the deeper he went into the mafia business since then.
  • Heartwarming in Hindsight: Regarding the climax of the original version, with how the ending of Stone Ocean was a lot more ambiguous in the manga, there were different types of theories of what it could have meant, one of which theorizing that the events of Parts 1 to 5 still happened, which this story applies. As it turns out, this correctly predicts the implications of the final ED of the Stone Ocean anime, as just like in this fanfic, the timeline is the same up until where Stone Ocean would have taken place.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight:
    • Hitomi being a Zeppeli descendant was a creative liberty original to the fanfic. The 7th Stand User game would later add Chaos Mode in a later version (which wasn't translated into English at the time of the fanfic's creation), which adds a large amount of random elements to a playthrough of the game. One of which has the protagonist's family turn out to be a Zeppeli descendant themselves!
    • The title of chapter 19 of the original version is a Shout-Out to "Lovefool" by The Cardigans. This same song and band would be directly referenced again two sequels later in Lacrime D'oro del Vento Aureo for the ability of another character.
